If WWE were smart, he'd be the head writer. He does have a track record of writing successful wrestling television in a much tougher market than the US.
Public or not, it's still his company and he'll have the final say as long as he wants.. and being that he has had the finals say for over 30 years now, I doubt he will be giving it up anytime soon
