I think that most people are just pissed off that they are taking the belt of AJ Styles, one of the last homegrown talent guys they were still "heavily pushing". If you sit down and analize it, yeah, RVD has all the requirements to be champion. Is more mainstream than two quarters of the roster, can still relatively go in the ring and gets amazing pops. I would however critique HOW they put the belt on Van Dam. I mean, did they really had to waste Hardy vs RVD and AJ vs RVD, have AJ lose to a guy that had wrestle 4 times in two consecutive nights and get buried in a promo all in the same night just for the sake of a 1.0 rating?
Isn't that what I said and you took note to say that me claiming majority is false? Now you're changing your view?

Not exactly. I think that most posters here think that RVD picking up the belt from AJ is wrong. Whether you count their opinion or not or even if their opinion is worth taking into account is another subject, but if we judge by looking at this thread, most people would have prefered AJ remaining champion.

The remaining of the post was just pointing out what was truly fucked up in the scenarion in which Van Dam actually became champion. Personally, I don't like RVD as the champion. Can I see your logic behind it? Definitevely. But I still don't like it. And I think that if they intend on have RVD walking in into BFG as the champion, we're in for a shitty main event feud build up

What? He's by far, hands down the most over guy in the Impact zone. Everyone in the area is freaking out for him when he comes. Hence why he's champion.

You're absolutely correct, my problem isn't with the RVD Title reign itself, my problem is that they built it up in 2 hours when it could have been built up this whole month leading to Sacrifice. Then the idiots running this company wonder why nobody buys their PPVs
