Evolution Of Video Games?

Now this is for the people who has been around long enough to see the leaps and bounds the gaming genre has taken, from the arcades, to the various different gaming consoles, and the question I would like to ask, is do you think the evolution of video games was a good thing? Does it make games easier than the past?

From what I have experienced, I think the evolution has been a fantastic thing. The graphics are far better, the gameplay is usually better and I just think that the games are far better. Obviously you have the old classics which you can't beat but I do certainly prefer my Xbox 360 to my old PS1.

so you don't believe the level of difficulty has went down in video games. Like I don't find games to be as hard as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on NES or Zelda: A Link To The Past or even Prince Of Persia for Genesis.

Try playing Football (Soccer) Manager, it's a marvelous game but very difficult. I'm actually quite good at it though.

I used to play soccer as a kid. I would imagine them video games are hard because it's not an easy sport.
