The prediction for NOAH: The New Year 2024 have been counted and verified and I can verify that eleven people predicted for the event. The thirteen matches will be added to the overall count for the entire event, but with the NOAH event being the only event in the Japan Division - I am now able to update the overall Japan Division standings (the results from this event are added to the previous Japan Division standings) and see whether HoHo has retained their belt or if a new champion has been crowned.

The prediction for NJPW: Wrestle Kingdom 18 have been counted and verified and I can verify that nine people predicted for the event (this means that a few people who predicted for NOAH didn't predict for NJPW so become ineligible to win the 'green belt'). The ten matches will be added to the overall count for the entire event with the total revealed once the event is complete. - I am now able to update the standing for the first time this season for the NJPW Division.

With @Chris & @Jimmy King topping the NJPW Division, the pair share the top spot in the NJPW Division. The tie does mean that an inaugural NJPW World Championship will not be crowned during. Perhaps the first champion will be crowned at the next event that features a NJPW show.​

Japan Is Awesome Results Part III

It was announced at the start of the season that a new belt the WPC King of the Mountain Championship would be introduced to the competition.

This belt is awarded at the end of each calendar (an event will be marked as such) to the predictor who has the highest win % over a number of events. With it having been determined that for January the requirement of this will be 4 Events. Due to this being the second event of the year, everyone who is eligible to win the GPE Championship during Event #2 will have their name bolded. Everyone eligible will also see an increase of +1 to their KOTM eligibility. As stated though, if you are only interested in a particular division - fully committing to an event is not mandatory. A seperate table will be created once four event have been completed.

I can now offer up the final standing for Event #2 - with predictors who are bolded be eligible to win the 'green belt'.

The event ended with @TOP GUY TIME , @Wiseman & @Chris all topping the board with 15 wins each. With nothing to break the apart, on this occasion the Grand Prix Event Championship goes without a winner - and so it is placed back into the trophy cabinet waiting patiently for its next holder to step forward.

However, there is an added benefit to topping the standings. With both Blaine and Wiseman joining Fourth in the first #1 contender's match of the year - with the winner of the match challenging Chris for the WPC Grand Championship. (Chris as the current champion, just gets to feel good about himself.)
