If that is the case, why not just outright ask for your release instead of tarring your name by having these violations against them?

Because if you are under contract, you can't get released if the office doesn't want to release you. Refer to Owen Hart in 97.

I don't know if he comes back from this one, but he might find himself in ROH again as Matt Sydal perhaps. Especially since he and Kofi don't have the belts anymore. This one can't be blamed on creative he's fucked himself over.

I doubt he would go back to ROH, if he wants to get released from the WWE (No idea if he actually does) then why would he want to go back to ROH? Or would they even want him back?

I think ROH would take him back in a heartbeat, unless he left the company on bad terms of course. I don't recall ever reading anything like that. Maybe he just enjoys working the indies more than WWE. Who knows? Sometimes wrestlers aren't able to handle the WWE schedule, or maybe in this case the strictness.

Yeah, ROH wouldn't want a guy who has had a national spotlight on him for over 3 years in a major wrestling company.

What indy org. would want that?

Well I don't no why they wouldn't release Owen (maybe you can fill me in) but Bourne has never or will ever be as much of a name as Owen ever was. I'd hazard a guess that the Owen stuff was about the montreal screwjob and possibly jumping over to a competitor in WCW, whereas WWE has absolutely nothing to lose by letting Bourne go.

Owen was made to look like a glorified jobber to Shawn Michaels and Triple H after the screwjob, which would've put him in the same category as Bourne, sorry to say this, but Owen only has name value because of his death in the ring. He was at mainevent status when the company was in their dark days.

The situation with Bourne, would be only personal in my opinion, something along the lines of "Oh, he wants to leave? Fuck that! We'll starve him out first."

Like MVP last year, for a better example.

I actually miss seeing MVP in WWE, he was entertaining and had some decent matches especially the ones for the U.S title.

MVP and Carlito are two guys that I still miss to this day. They were really entertaining and had their great moments.

There has been cases where WWE has granted releases or let them sit at home until their contracts ran out. Now there is a chance he asked for his release and they wouldn't grant it and he did this but I still am not a fan of stuff like that as he was stupid to put himself in position to get busted the first time that derailed his biggest push.

I think he was sick of WWEs hypricote ways when he got suspended and R Truth didn't until news got out that he violated the wellness policy

nothing shocking about a pot head getting busted again, he should go to TNA and do nothing in the x division.
