I agree. There is quite a few problems with the womens division and I feel like they aren't giving it the attention it needs. They are just pushing everything onto a handful of the women and dusting their hands off like they did such a huge amount of work. Yes, it has improved in terms of wrestling and not being all about sex appeal BUT the story lines are still meh and the constant feuds between the same 4 or 5 women is getting old fast.
I'm still confused at why WWE didn't go the obvious route; Keep the belt on Becky Lynch, have her beat a series of contenders. Have Nikki do pretty much what she has done, only she beats Natalya and then you have a genuine WM calibre womens match between the two biggest female stars on SmackDown, if not all WWE. And in the meantime you slowly build up Alexa, let people get to know her and care about her, rather than putting the belt on her and sending her out to crickets.
Its train wreck TV at the moment, I dont even bother watching the SDL womens division anymore because its so bad. And so repetitive, and even matches like Becky v Mickie are pretty mediocre.
