" Eric Young overcame the odds to win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and, since then, has established himself as a true fighting champ!

After his victory at Slammiversary, Eric Young gave IMPACTWrestling.com the following statement:

"I said from Day One that TNA fans deserve a fighting champion and that I would give them that. MVP blocked me from defending for a few weeks, but that's over! I vow to defend this title and give these people a great show EVERY week, starting this Thursday live in Bethlehem, PA.”

IMPACTWrestling followed up with Director of Wrestling Operations MVP to confirm, who had the following to say:

“Eric Young, you will defend your title Thursday night LIVE on IMPACT in Bethlehem. But, you and the fate of that title is in my hands. All you EY fans, tell me who he should face. I’ll take your suggestions under advisement. I will make my decision at the start of the show."

Tune in tomorrow night LIVE at 9/8c on Spike TV to see who steps up as the challenger! "

BOBBY LASHLEY almost certainly, MVP will give him an out and give his boy one more shot since EY pinned Aries at Slammiversary, not Lashley

Very good. Indeed Lashley should get the shot, he pinned EY twice already.

I want Storm for some odd reason, then MVP comes along and takes the title.
