And if AEW didn't take shots, then people would turn around and say they are too scared to mention WWE. There's nothing wrong with being cocky. There's a reason AEW become a company, and it wasn't to be second best. There certainly is a fan base that wants something different. In my head AEW doesn't want to be exactly like WWE. I'm sure they don't want to have something so generic. I like a lot of WWE, but they have limitations to what they can do having stockholders. That's where I think AEW has an advantage. AEW also has really strong ticket sales. The ratings have been up and down, but they have had to move around a lot, hopefully with the move to TBS it's a more solid position.
