By the way - question. What's the best way to combat guys who just pass around their defence and midfield for ages before attacking? I never know whether to close down/cut out passes like I usually do or whether to invite them onto me so I can get the ball back quicker (but at the same time risk a goal).

Just wait. If they're good at it you'll never get the ball and if you press you'll just be open. They'll get bored, then when you get it, do the same for around a minute. Do it so they press, just play their own game. This one guy did it to me until like 30 in game minutes just passing in his box. Finally got it, kept it until 80 minutes, put ultra-attacking on when he was pressing me so hard and countered and scored a 88th minute goal. Then sent him a message linking him to the trololol song. Fucking cunt.

Best UA's to use is defensive and counter attacking if you're not good at possession. I'm a possession whore and most games have at least 60% so I use defensive and "Team Pressing", but it's risky. Defensive because Fifa 13 is Blue and all your players sneak forward the more you get the ball so you're open to counters, and Team Pressing because I want to get it back ASAP to continue probing, a bit like Barca style. Concede many many many counter attack goals though which suck, nothing I can do to even combat them, Fifa 13 is weird.

There's so many annoying things about the game though: like why when I press the A button does it do a y button pass sometimes and vice versa? It's so fucking irritating. And if I play a successful Y ball and it's obvious that one of my players is closer to the ball, and the game randomly changes me to a player who's further away and obviously not gonna be able to reach it whilst the closer guy runs away from the ball. Pisses me off no end.

Couldn't agree more. Also the change player being LB but when the ball suddenly comes to you in front of goal you accidentally chip because you've changed player and it goes over. So annoying. Yes I've had these issues as well! (See Neuer in those two consecutive games that we played a few days ago)

When are the next gen consoles gonna be released roughly? Absolutely pumped for that, game developers are obviously struggling to make significant improvements in their games on the current consoles, so the games coming out on the new ones should be fucking insane.

720 was originally planned for mid/late 2013, not sure if it still is
PS4 is still mid/late 2014.
