Emulators and Roms

I used to play all my classic favorite games using Emulators and Roms, but, it's been so long that I'm at a lost as to where to find some of the best ones to use. So, I'm coming to you guys, any suggestions? I'm looking to play some of the old school NES and Genesis games.

I have every NES, SNES, Genesis, and Turbografx ROM on my computer.

Here's what I'm actually doing now.
Play Sid Meier's Civilization on Super Nintendo

Civilization on the SNES. This makes my summer cold a little less dreadful.

I used to do emulators, and roms, until I figured out that most of the downloads are riddled with spyware, adware, malware, or whatever else virus you can stick in there... I stopped doing them, I'll just buy something like Amazon's Fire TV, and stick kodi in there.
