What the fuck? Stay Wide Awake, Beautiful, Deja Vu, 3 A.M., Underground, and Must Be The Ganja were all really good tracks. The only songs I hated were Same Song & Dance, Bagpipes from Baghdad and Hello. The other tracks were decent. It wasn't his best but it's better than Encore. It was great to see Slim Shady come back even it wasn't in the same attitude as The Slim Shady LP. I can't believe he cuts tracks from Relapse 2. Holy shit put them in something.

Anyways here's Not Afraid from Recovery. Nasty song. It's definitely his Marshall Mathers side.

Honestly, I loved Relapse, it was imo his best album since The Marshall Mathers LP. The only songs off Relapse I didn't like were We Made You and Same Song & Dance. Hello and Bagpipes From Bagdad are decent, but not one of my favorites on the album.

Thank the imaginary Lord! Finally Eminem sounds like the Eminem I grew up listening to. Very glad he isn't rapping like an idiot anymore because it was very annoying.

The accent honestly didn't bug me all that much. With songs like "3 AM" and "Stay Wide Awake" actually were perfect fits for the accent.

I'm just gonna post what I said on another blog about the site instead of retyping everything.

This is “Lose Yourself” 2010. He does sound focused and Recovery does sound like it’s gonna be one of his best projects. The singing is pretty bad but can’t deny that he shit on those verses though. This will get people to look at him as the guy they dropped “Toy Soldiers” and “Sing for the Moment” instead of "Just Lose It" and "We Made You". But (like the boys from ItstheReal said) it’s too slow for the gym, I can’t run to this. But the ones paying will love it. That’s white people fyi.

I refer to this article here with different blogs talking about the song: http://www.complex.com/blogs/2010/0...-top-tastemakers-react-to-eminems-not-afraid/

it's an alright song singing is gawdawful. It's chill which is cool, and i've always like it when he shuts up and raps .. i guess.. I'll buy the album and do what i do without being annoyed from track to track which is a bonus

Yeah the accent didn't really bother me either. Sure I would have rather him go without the accent, but it wasn't that bad. I'm pumped for Recovery though.

He wants to make a lot of money with this song since its a single and towards mainstream, thats why hes singing and shit. But its still fire, glad hes using his old voice. I got used to the accent though since his flow on Stay Wide Awake was crazy.

I think it could grow on me a little, but i'm not a big fan of it. It jjust seems like he tried TOO hard to have a positive song. Like it just doesn't feel like eminem. I think eminem can have a dark song, that is still positive. Like Lose Youself.

Uggggggggh!!!!!!!!!

OK so I just listened to a bunch of Eminem's albums. From Infinite to Recovery... The one that frustrates me the most is clearly Relapse. WHAT THE FUCK! What the fuck was he thinking?!!? It sucks so bad! His excuse is he was on drugs. OK... well when he first started in rap he was on drugs. Like he claims he would do acid, mushrooms, smoke weed and do some other pills in the beginning. Then on Relapse he is on sleeping pills and some other pills. Yet he sounds like a fucking blueberry. And an annoying one at that. His Recovery album is so much better like he even says himself but wow. Anyone who says Relapse is a good album needs to be reevaluated to be accepted back into society. Like seriously. Whoever produced this crap should of told Em that this was garbage and not even drug funny (which there is some shit that can be made while on drugs that is good/funny/entertaining).

This just frustrates me that Relapse was sold as an album... and people actually bought that garbage. I am just glad Recovery he went back to his old school shit and sounds like the old Eminem. The way he sounded and rapped and acted in Relapse just is so annoying, I don't get why he thought changing his voice to an annoying pitch sounded good. On drugs or not, one should be able to realize whats is SHIT and what is not. Trust me I should know..

Being an EM fan, I got the Relaspse album and liked it. Sure it wasn't his best album, but I hardy think it was a terrible as many say it was.

^ Same here, personally I really loved Relapse when it came out last year. Being that I have had Recovery for close to 2 weeks (I got the leak before the 21st) I think I actually listened to Relapse more initially. It only look me a week or so to memorize all the songs on that album lol. It is taking me a bit longer on this one.

edit- Epic Gohan sig. I am watching the Cell/Gohan fight as we speak.
