Damn Elijah had so much talent I really thought he could possibly become a maineventer one day, but no I can see this ruining his WWE career. A stupid gimmick that won't work.

If it puts Elijah Burke back on television I have no problem but hopefully WWE will give him some theme music. Koslov and his spot light is bad enough, Burke doesn't need the same. He was heavily underrated with on ECW with his decent gimmick so maybe this rather odd gimmick could give him his push. Especially with the lackluster line up ECW is stuck with now.

I didn't have to see the Eugene gimmick to know that its stupid idea. Or the Reverend D-Von to know it won't work. And this I get the feeling just won't work.

Mordecai was a better religious gimmick then Reverend D'Von.
This new gimmick that Elijah has looks more then likely mid-card.

At one point for the first two moths after he started Eugene was over huge. If they had've taken that momentum and had him reveal that he was just playing handicapped to get a WWE contract easier or what have you I think he would have been a huge heel.
