I'm joking of course, but the Elbow of Distain is one seriously awesome elbow drop. Do you think one day people will mark for it like the People's Elbow? I doubt it, but theortically it's possible. Once a upon a time the the People's Elbow was a joke move too. Rock never won matches with it when he first started using it.

Think about it. If Sandow was slowly booked more seriously, and if he became a Lex Luthor-ish mastermind heel...the Elbow of Distain could possibly be the new People's Elbow. Or Corprate Elbow, whatever. It would be hard to get pops with it, but it should be able to get some kind of strong reaction.

Oh, and in all seriousness: Elbow of Distain > Five Knuckle Shuffle. :sandow:

I agree, I love it. If he becomes some big superstar, I don't see why it wouldn't get over.

I don't think the build up is big enough for fans to get too excited about. Peoples elbow and five knuckle shuffle has a huge window where the fans know its coming, Sandow's doesn't. But its still a hell of a move. If he adds a bit more to the set up than it could be huge.

Sandow is a natural heel so people will not get pops but you know what would be cool? If he did the somersault and then did the thing with his arm and hit the elbow. That would look sweet.

Sure, if one day he becomes that heel that everyone loves to hate and keeps using the move it'll get big pops in a few years when he's a solidified main eventer, I'm quite sure.
