Perfect picture. CBA to resize, but lmfao.

Wonder if they regret taking in Assange, but know the public backlash against their country would be such bad PR if they let him go.

The difference is Assange wasn't affiliated with the US Government. Then again I guess he is a suspected rapist.

But he was just as big a target, if not more. I guess Assange actually being American doesn't help him. You know the rape charge was American-created bullshit lmao.

Idk if he was a bigger target, especially now that Snowden is waiving his cock around bragging about what other info he has to release to the public

Really? Assange done detrimental damage to the US Government with over 200,000 cables being leaked and unfiltered, and is still running the corporation that is inflicting that damage (WIkileaks). I guess Snowden revealing American wrong-doing against powerful European countries like Germany and France puts America in a bit more trouble. Poor Obama, dealing with these hipster whistleblowers.

I'm with you, but from the Feds perspective Snowden was one of 'them' who defected. He is viewed by them as a traitor, whereas Assange is just a foreign dirtbag.

What Dolph's said. Snowden becomes a bigger target by being a "traitor", one of their own. It stings on them most likely.

True. Good point. Brave as fuck for Snowden to do it though. Was living in a real nice area with a real nice annual wage. Not sure I'd have the balls to go up against the most powerful country in the world for strictly moral reasons.

Name in the history books, although in US history he will be painted as a terrorist asshole, lol.

Tbh, I reckon he expected more support. Like riots and shit. This generation - with some exceptions - simply don't care enough to have any "revolution" yet imo. This is just random news that most people forget about in a few days.

I guess it all depends on what his work will lead to. Since it is rather unlikely that it will have any major effect on how the US government acts with things like this he will most likely just be a name in the history books like D'Z said.

But he could just as well become a name in the history books in the same vein as Oskar Schindler (although the situations are different). But he is more likely to become a name like Hannah Arendt than a Schindler.

I think it will change things drastically. The amount of people that had access to what Snowden had access to was scary. They need to be far more secretive if they don't want this shit getting out.
