We get reports like this all the time. Retirements are definitely taken with a grain of salt these days. If Edge does retire then he will be missed. He has had alot of good matches over his career. When he first debuted I did not know what he was going to become. Hell, his first world championship win was a shock to me. If he does retire then the WWE would of lost a quality main eventer, no matter what his character is like.

Fuck this shit. He's been stale for a little while but in time I trust he will do something awesome again. Fuck him leaving in two years.

Until then, he's boring and I could care less if he left. Somewhere down the line I'd miss him, but as of now, I wouldn't.

Gold on the mic but bronze in the ring.

I'll miss, for a bit though, when he retires. I probably won't though, I kinda forget about HBK sometimes lol.

I really think that face turn hurt him career wise. Edge was heel for many years, a successful one at that, although he did appear stale towards the end of his 2009 run. His only chance to revive his career was ultimately a face turn, which he did, too bad it failed. So he went back to being a straight heel right away, which wasn't really believable and extremely awkward. The face run did more harm than good. Now he is more off than before he got hurt.

Everybody always hated Edge.
I'd like to see the final two years of his career combine both a teaming of and fueding with Chrisitian.

When he turned back heel, it was just lazy and made no since. He tricked the fans the whole time? That's it? That's why you were a horrible good guy? That "spear spear spear" shit didn't help at all. You knew they were desperate turning him back heel when he got paired with Vicki again. I thought Edge was better than that.

I completely forgot that he was gone until you said that. Forgot Foley is gone from TNA too.

They shit on that feud when they just gave away Edge vs Christian on Raw a couple weeks ago.

What's the LOLOLOLOL about, Shawn Michaels being the face of the company or Edge following suit, by face I don't mean babyface.

Michaels was the face of the WWE (if you could even call it that) for, oooohhhh lemme think... About a year (96/97).

...And in case you hadn't noticed, JOHN CENA is the face of the WWE and has been for years. :sigh:
