Edge speaks on turning face and working with Christian again

Edge was recently interviewed by Danny Salas of central California's B95 radio station. Here are the highlights:

Turning babyface: "There's a little bit of a groundswell. I'm starting to feel it a little bit... I think a lot of it too is just tenure. When you're around for a long time the people go, 'God, he's been around here a long time and been in some pretty hellacious matches. And when you start to get that on your resume it gets harder and harder for people to boo you. I think that's what Shawn Michaels ran into and that's what Undertaker ran into. When you get to a certain point - not that I'm in their league or anything - but once you get to a certain point after a lot of time and a lot of matches that have entertained people it becomes harder and harder for them to boo you. That's kind of been my challenge for the last little while is to keep them booing me. I think (Chris) Jericho is going through the same thing right now."

Working with Christian again: "I don't know. I'd like for it to and at some point I think it has to happen whether it's against each other or whether it's teaming. I still think it's fresh in our audience's minds that it would still mean something. We do have a lot more kids now that might not remember it, but I think enough guys like you and me are still in the crowd that can buzz the kids on it and explain what Edge and Christian is all about it."

Edge might need to turn face soon, with Smackdown! lacking in the main event face department it might actually be a good idea. As for working with Chrisitian, I think Jim Cornette was absolutely right when he said "they should be linked like siamese twins"

Edge as a face would give Smackdown a huge Main Event Face. Working with Christian is something I would love to see. I hope that this happens.

Maybe he gets tired of Jericho?

At the end of the day Edge and christian is gonna happen at some point. it is totally inevitable. but just how long they hold it out remains to be seen. The thing is everyone wants it to happen and the WWE knows how much we all want it. So they are gonna hold out and explode with something wicked to grasp out attention. The longer they leave the more we want it. But yeah it deffo has to happen. Just when.. That is the million dollar question. If Edge went heel that would help out SD in the face department. But i have my reservations, As i see Edge as the ultimate Heel and that Heel is the best option for him. But if him and Christian are gonna team up then Hell yeah I'm all for Face Edge. Even Heel edge/Christian would be cool with me.

They were on the best of the tag teams DVD. They aren't big enough in WWE's eyes to warrant their own DVD. Well, they are, but WWE would never do it. Thus them releasing a tag team DVD.

Lol, remember when Edge won KOTR and Christian kept on carrying around his trophy. Damn, I was young when that was going on.

They can't come out with a Edge & Christian DVD, Christian was lackluster by himself, Edge was always the better of the two.

Edge face would be interesting since the last time he was face, he'd literally be leaking of disgust because he was so squeaky clean that Mr. Clean would say "Fuck this guy!"
