Love me some JoJo...but Eden was hotter. Which, honestly, is what I'm looking for in announcers and interviewers(not wrestlers.
WWE didn't sue Punk, the doctor he accused of negligence was the one who filed the lawsuit.Wasn't she hurt for a good portion of that time? Obviously AJ didn't want to leave right away because of her love of wrestling, but she definitely considered Punk when making that decision. I also want to point out that relations between WWE and Punk worsened before WrestleMania 31 when WWE sued Punk over defamation claims.
You knew what I meant.WWE didn't sue Punk, the doctor he accused of negligence was the one who filed the lawsuit.
Not exactly, AJ Lee was still collecting checks and took a Mania payday. You knew what I meant.
If you think AJ would be retired now if CM Punk was still in WWE, you're naive. Rising tension between WWE and CM Punk played a major factor in her decision to leave. No one said she did exactly the same thing as Brandi Rhodes, but she definitely wouldn't be retired now if it wasn't for her relationship with Punk. Not exactly, AJ Lee was still collecting checks and took a Mania payday.
Not exactly the same as Brandi Runnels.
If she loved wrestling so much, she'd be somewhere else by now.
If she plans on returning....than that's not loyal. If you think AJ would be retired now if CM Punk was still in WWE, you're naive. As for why she isn't anywhere else, maybe WWE is the only place she wants to work and has a plan to return some day.
Maybe CM Punk himself returns or he simply convinces her it's OK to go back. Who knows. Never say never in WWE.If she plans on returning....than that's not loyal.
Not sure what tension put any strain on AJ when it came to her run, she was given a choice spot and got the pin on the real workhorses that year....the Bella's at Mania.
Doctors lawsuit doesn't follow the timeline you provided.Maybe CM Punk himself returns or he simply convinces her it's OK to go back. Who knows. Never say never in WWE.
The strain wasn't on AJ's run, she married CM Punk after he left and about a month before her Mania match, one of WWE's doctors sued her husband and there was also some nonsense with the video game. I'm not saying Punk asked her to leave, but I'm sure they decided together it was best for their family if she left WWE.
The lawsuit was filled in February of 2015. I'm not sure how that doesn't follow. The rumors of her retirement ran roughshod over the news circles leading to 31.Doctors lawsuit doesn't follow the timeline you provided.
Punk filed suit first for likeness rights, easily couldve tied the guy in court for years over it, because of the independent contractor loophole.
These two are not coming back, ones too old....and the others not a big enough name.
AJ had heat for a Twitter reply to Stephanie. The lawsuit was filled in February of 2015. I'm not sure how that doesn't follow. The rumors of her retirement ran roughshod over the news circles leading to 31.
Punk can always return in any number of capacities and I laugh at the idea of one of the most over woman of all time not being big enough for a return. I'm not saying they will return, because I don't think they will either, but never say never in WWE.
You don't need to wait for a lawsuit to go to court for their to be bad blood with the company that employees the person suing you. Not to mention I'm sure CM Punk blames WWE as a whole for how his medical situation went down.AJ had heat for a Twitter reply to Stephanie.
That lawsuit wasn't even going to see a court date for a long time. Still hasn't.
