Suppose it all depends on what he means by 'doing something meaningful' because it would seem pretty weird on the face of it for him to ask for his release right around the time they seemed to be doing something with him.

Never say never but he was so uninteresting that I can't see him doing anything meaningful in wrestling.

Yeah I wasn't a fan of his before coming to WWE and those Words do seem weird considering he was starting to be used somewhat lately.

I guess he meant either being the main guy on NXT, or going to the main roster. He wasnt going to last very long doing either so meh.
