ECW/RAW merger cancelled

Two sources confirmed today that plans for ECW to move its tapings to Monday night before Raw have now been dropped.

The general feeling is that it was going to be a bad move from the start when discussions started about going through with it as Monday's tend to be much more stressful than Tuesday's.

In addition, combining the Raw and ECW rosters would have made it much harder for ECW wrestlers to get on the Raw house show cards and leaving them less time to work per week.

Awesome. I watch ECW twice as much as Smackdown cause i never catch spoilers and now i don't have to worry about it.

I just wish they better put ECW on its own and end the SD/ECW talent exchange since the Tag Team and the US title is back on SD.

IF this was ever gonna happen to start with, it goes some way to explaining why SD got so stacked in the draft... Wonder if the'll conclude that they've left Raw too lean now and start drafting a few peeps back to Monday nights?
