Im sure you all have heard all the crap going around with the Ebola Virus. I think its political crap, striking fear into the American people; maybe even to cover up something else...What are your thoughts on the issue?

It's just a widespread epidemic in Africa that with the invention of social networks and the Internet is more widely known so dumbasses can worry about it without knowing any facts about what's going on.

The actual epidemic itself is fucking terrible for Africa though and really shows how underdeveloped so many of those countries are. And it doesn't help that a lot of the civilians there don't believe that Ebola is a problem and that it's some sort of conspiracy ( :hm: ) so they don't trust aid workers or follow any safe procedures like NOT FUCKING HANDLING DEAD BODIES OF VICTIMS when they're most contagious.

It is pretty sad that when a handful of Americans contract the disease, everyone feels the need to help. While I can appreciate the support, its sad that it happens the way it happens. Ebola has been an issue for much longer that it has been around in the US.

Even their most senior doctors and political figures are saying Ebola isn't even a thing. They then go around eating bat and monkey (or "bushmeat" as it's so called) and spreading that shit tenfold.

I haven't, but that's pretty much what I've heard has been happening. Take my opinion for what it's worth because it's not like I'm an expert on any of this but Ebola seems to be REALLY hard to actually spread. All the cases in the United States are now cured (besides that one guy who died because they let him leave), and that's with our hospitals royally fucking up in almost every way. Yet the disease still did not spread.

Been through this in 95. Only time shit like this gets this much attention is when it travels to America, no fucks were given about this when Africans were dying or when SARS or bird flu were in Asia. Stupid people panic and media outlets use it to keep eyeballs on their channels.

They now have a treatment for it so there is a positive in those few people exposing how inept the security still is after spending trillions if dollars to fight terrorism.
