I've come to terms with myself, and I spend a freakish amount of time on this shit (BTB), like its pretty unhealthy. I've just been looking for one sucessful one, and that's about it. So hopefully, this one is it, and this one finally makes it. If it doesn't, I'm out of this section for awhile, like until Christmas, or maybe Summer time. Anyways, here it is.

I. ‘The Story That Inspired A Change’

Following a sendoff that touched the hearts of millions, Shawn Michaels thought it was time to settle. He has had probably the two best matches in Wrestlemania history, and has pretty much done it all throughout his career as “The Heartbreak Kidâ€, Shawn Michaels. Michaels has had quite the personality change throughout the years, and this was most visible when him, and long time enemy, Bret Hart amended an old friendship, and hugged it out on Bret’s return to WWE programming. Michaels has always been one to speak his mind, and fight for what’s right, but there’s a side of his retirement that wasn’t told. Shawn didn’t plan to, or want to retire his illustrious career, but he was forced into the depths of depression, and finally losing his smile once again. Since Summer of last year, some could say that Shawn just didn’t look like he felt it in the ring anymore, but it was because Shawn did know that pretty soon his retirement would come, and he, Paul Levesque, and several other employees felt that one more title run was in order for Mr. Wrestlemania himself. Shawn’s last championship was held in 2002, eight years ago. Shawn has been putting over stars of tomorrow, and backed the WWE for the longest, and one title shot was all he wanted before he retired. He had at most two years left in him, but after Vince McMahon killed any dreams of Shawn’s world title run, Shawn just lost all hope in his job. He wanted his final match to be against longtime pal, and current reigning WWE Champion; Paul Levesque (Triple H), and was using his hand in booking decisions to pull towards this as Shawn’s retirement match. Shawn tried to settle for just raising the gold one more time in his career, in front of his adoring fans, and finally feeling that sense of glory again as he retired, but Vince decided to blow Shawn off, and made a last minute booking decision that caused Shawn’s patience to hit the fan. Shawn however, stayed mature about the situation, and kept his fury in the dark, as he ended up retiring in a Wrestlemania Rematch with the Undertaker in a Retirement Match. This was Shawn’s final moment in the squared circle. Shawn’s final tear shed on the canvas. This was Shawn’s life. This was Shawn’s dream. This was the ending of an era. The ending of one of the most storied careers in Sports Entertainment. But, this isn’t the end of Shawn’s story. This is only half of Shawn’s succession. This is the opening to a new door.

After his retirement, Shawn was still under contract, and was being paid to basically do nothing. Shawn’s contract of course one can imagine how high it was set, opened the opportunity for Shawn to rest at San Antonio, Texas with his adoring family, and be himself again. Now Shawn is a family man, and no longer “the Heartbreak Kidâ€, Rebecca Hickenbottom used to watch every Monday Night. Shawn still bitter from his sendoff, but his family calmed him, and eased his troubled mind. That is however, until another shallow move was made by the Chairman of the Board at the WWE offices. Vince McMahon having to manage his franchise well, especially now that TNA has been competing with them successfully in an attempt to restart the Monday Night Wars which has been speculated for quite awhile now. Anyways, Vince was having a hard time financially, and had to cut several stars on black Monday, the WWE’s holiday for coming to terms with superstars. Surprisingly, McMahon cut some talent that could have led his company in the past, and in the future such as Shelton Benjamin, Sheamus who was thought to be loved by Vince, Kofi Kingston, Daniel Bryan, Cryme Tyme, and the most shocking release, which was that of Christian. All these budget cuts wasn’t enough to comfort Vince’s pockets, which led to McMahon starting to shorten salaries of top acts such as David Batista, CM Punk, Kane & Randy Orton. He may have gone too far though, as Vince decided to breach his contract with Michael Hickenbottom, and release the man who’s done so much for Vince. Without warning, without a call, without a positive reason, Vince left a man who was his friend jobless, and unable to support his wife, and kids. This infuriated Michaels, and led to Shawn paying a visit to Titan Towers. Shawn was definitely the topic of discussion as he entered Vince’s offices, and employees whispered about what Shawn’s motive is here. Security decided to let the man go without question, being that he was such a close friend to their boss, and must be on good terms right? Wrong, Shawn caught Vince McMahon dressed in his usual suit right on time, as Vince was about to exit his office. Shawn at first, seemed to be perfectly normal, as Vince called Shawn’s visit, a pleasant surprise. Vince tried to make a conversation with Shawn asking how retirement is, and how the family’s taken the change. Shawn nods his head no, and begins to tell Vince that he knows exactly why Shawn stands before him right now. Vince eventually confesses to basically screwing Shawn over, and tries to apologize. Vince lets out his hand only to be spat on by Shawn Michaels. Shawn & Vince begin to get loud, and argue as Shawn tells Vince its not the money that matters. He breached his side of the contract, and Shawn has a large amount of extra money in his wallet now. The issue with Shawn was the dishonesty, and how he couldn’t believe Vince would screw him over like that. Security broke up the argument just as it was about to become physical, and Shawn Michaels left Titan Towers with one word in mind: No, not Vengeance, or anything like that. The one word is ‘Karma’.

I'm not sure what to say to you, really...I will say that this is a bit of quality fiction here and a pretty interesting scenario to build off of. My only advice is not to jump the gun and quit like you have quite the habit of. But it's obviously up to you. Hopefully see you around in the section more, but honestly, i'm not betting on it.

II. ‘And It Goes Full Circle Like a Cheerio’

Only one month passed on after the incident at Titan Towers when an update in Shawn’s plan was heard of. But in that one month, catastrophic changes to professional wrestling occurred as the Monday Night War’s got hot, and heavy. TNA was starting to become notorious for bad writing, and several of its employees were becoming upset with the terrible management as well. This led to Ken Anderson, Matt Morgan, and a big star that wasn’t too big of a shocker, Samoa Joe to all ask for their releases from the company. TNA couldn’t refuse as they too needed the money, and the only one out of the three that was drawing in ratings was Anderson who was working a program with Kurt Angle, but that was scheduled to finish later in the month. WWE continued being the tyrants their known to be, and their health policy really did upset several superstars within the company including the already resentful David Batista, and Randy Orton. These two superstars are cornerstone heels for both of WWE’s brands, and basically fuel the show with entertainment. Randy Orton however, was injured recently, and is set to be out for about two to three months, which is a tremendous blow as Orton was scheduled to take part in a big storyline that was going to help the WWE overcome TNA in the Monday Night War’s. Orton was then verbally attacked by WWE officials, and that just escalated the problem, as Randy began to shoot on his own employers while at bed rest in a Tampa, Florida hospital. Eventually, WWE had no choice but to release Randy Orton on a mutual agreement to avoid breaching any contract. Also, Chris Jericho gave some harsh comments towards his employers on the topic of the way Shawn was treated, and really described the way he portrays Vince and his company as lying snakes right about now. Tension was beginning to rise on the Jericho situation.

If you think that was a surprise release, Michaels began to use his power to whisper into the ears of one Hall of Fame sellout that jumped ship to TNA after being sent off by Shawn Michaels himself. Ric Flair was said to be very upset with the way his arrival in TNA was going, and had no say in booking decisions made between Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan, Russo, and Jarrett. Flair was working a storyline as AJ Styles’ mentor, and the two grew a really close off-screen relationship which involved Styles meeting his idol, Shawn Michaels, and Shawn actually teaching the TNA poster boy some pointers. The three hit it off well, and Shawn continued to persuade Flair to abandon his company, as his contract was very lack luster, and basically begged for release. After a backstage argument ensued between Kurt Angle/Hogan & AJ Styles/Ric Flair the two decided to quit after the trading of words almost led to blows. TNA’s poster boy was gone now, and the company was left champion less, as Dixie Carter, still young, and naïve didn’t know what to do in the situation, especially with the Monday Night War’s going on.

Shawn Michaels’ plan began to slowly unravel, as pictures of Shawn hanging around San Antonio, Texas with a relatively young man by the name of Urbano Medero’s who is an avid wrestling fan, and more importantly, a Powerball Winner, becoming one of the richest men under thirty years of age on Forbes Magazine. Many online wrestling communities began to fantasize of Shawn’s recent behavior, and his actions, and what they can lead to.
