Dwayne Johnson's Next Movie- Will it Suck?

Let's keep this thread current. Anytime Dwayne The Rock Johnson has a movie coming out, let's discuss whether or not there's a high percentage it will suck.

What do you think? PG-13 drivel in the same vein as the recent Conan and Clash of the Titans flops or will it be a dark, brooding period piece?

I don't have high hopes for it, but it could be a decent action flick to go catch in theaters as long as they don't try to make it any more than that. I've been enjoying Rock's movies a lot this year, but I just don't see this one being as good as Fast & Furious 6 or even Snitch.

I love Greek mythology so I hope they do the story good. If the stories there, and I feel he portrays the character of Hercules well enough, I'll see it. I'll wait for a trailer first though before judging it more.

The Jason Mamoa Conan was the best Conan movie ever made, putting Arnie back in the lead role is whats going to flop. And Clash got a sequel, productions companies wouldn't touch a sequel if the first was a true flop.

I want this movie to be good, but honestly outside of Walking Tall & Be Cool, I don't really like Rocks movies. so I am not expecting it to be much.

Jason Momoa's Conan was god-awful, dude. It couldn't touch the Arnold original. It was so poorly done, people were walking out 15 minutes into the premiere that I attended.

Looking forward to it, I've enjoyed Dwaynes last several movies and the Hercules character can be very good.

I'll be honest, a lot of Rock's movies blow, but hey, he's a million miles better than Nic "broke so I take whatever they give me" Cage, with the exception of a few movies (Adaptation, Family Man, Leaving Las Vegas)

I would point to Cage in Wild at Heart, Leaving Las Vegas and Adaptation to name a few to disprove that.

I would tell you every movie he has done since Adaptation and laugh in your face.

Rock's movie are not going to be getting Oscars, but his movies don't suck, other than Southland Tales.

They were likely offended that a pregnant woman has to give birth on a battlefield, or that a child is forced to watch his father die, and probably the same people who called racism after 15 minutes of Django Unchained. People walk out of movies all the time, and besides, I don't take other people opinions on movies as hard fact. I like the movies I like, and Arnies Conan is a god awful joke that is making Robert E. Howard spin in his fucking grave.

Never remake an Arnie movie, the Total Recall and Conan remakes are abominations, everyone involved with those movies should be tried for crimes against humanity.
