- "The Mechanics" Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder defeated WWE NXT Tag Team Champions The Vaudevillains at tonight's NXT live event in Austin, Texas for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. The match was non-title.

The Mechanics will now face NXT Champion Finn Balor and Samoa Joe in a semi-final match at "Takeover: Respect" on October 7th. Below are the updated brackets:
