I like your idea Juggolo. But Homicide's arm cuts in half. And some text overlaps some other text.

SOLON, Ohio—
A four-year-old year child was left behind on a Solon school bus Thursday morning.

The pre-kindergarten boy was supposed to get off at Arthur Road Elementary.

The driver apparently did not notice that the boy was still sitting on the bus when the vehicle was parked in the garage area.

According to the child's family, he eventually unhooked his safety harness, exited the bus and wandered around the bus parking lot and garage area.

"We're still investigating everything that happened," said Tammy Strom, communications director of Solon Schools. "He was found by staff members after that--a little bit later in the afternoon."

The child finished his school day and his family says he seemed fine when he returned home.

The boy's grandmother did not want the boy to be identified, but told Fox 8 by phone that "he was fine."

She said, "It could've been terrible ... could've been tragic, but he's fine."

The bus driver has been suspended, but is not being identified by the district pending the outcome of the investigation and disciplinary hearing on Monday.

Strom said, "We take this very seriously and the responsibility to the students that we travel back and forth everyday. This is not something that will be tolerated at all."

School officials say state and local guidelines require drivers to search buses for students before parking them for any length of time.

All Solon drivers were being reminded of those policies and procedures Friday afternoon.

"Because sometimes, students can fall asleep on the bus--it's not uncommon among elementary school students. That's why we have procedures in place to protect students," said Strom.

The driver could be fired, but the child's family is not pushing for termination at this time.

They told Fox 8 that the school district has been extremely supportive and apologetic.

The family received phone calls from the superintendent, principal and school psychologist, checking on the boy's well being.

The little boy's grandmothers says, "a lot of bad things could've happened, but he's okay, and his biggest concern when he got home was his lost backpack."
