There are reports coming out of last night's Smackdown tapings that Drew McIntyre suffered a dislocated patella during his match. While there is no official word on the injury, McIntyre does appear to be injured, but the severity is not known at this time. We'll keep you posted here on the website.

Haha^^

It is a dam shame the ball just started rolling for drew. Surely wwe will announce this soon and have an IC tourney.

If that is the case I'm just really hoping the belt doesn't go back on Morrison.

This only means bigger things when he comes back. Triple H/HBK's buddy + fav of Vince + banging a GM + having to lose a title over and injury = Big time push when he returns. I don't know how long he'll be out for, but Tiffany may get a promotion to GM a bigger brand. That's a bigger plus for Drew.

Drew to have match with morrsion one more time get he gets attacked from behind, gets "injured" and has to drop the title. Maybe a tournament after the rumble for the title.

A dislocated knee cap?? That's not too bad, if he's real tough and the swelling isn't too bad he can wrestle next week, if it's just dislocated, three weeks tops. If he damaged his tendons, that would be bad.

Yeah, it's not that severe of an injury but it is one that could lead to more serious problems. Hopefully it's something that won't require more than a month of healing. A friend of mine popped his dislocated his kneecap... when they popped it back in the emergency room I don't know which sound was worse, the kneecap popping back in place or him screaming..lol

Wow bad news for Drew, he has some much going for him and I hope it doesn't halt his development. Finally when WWE puts time and effort into a great mid card feud an injury occurs. I'm not too sure on the details of this type of injury but I'd say have him work the Rumble, if possible, and then take the time he needs. Can somebody clarify but is a Wrestlemania return out of the question with this type of injury?
