ANOTHER??? They made a Jericho before?

They only made a Jericho in VHS i believe. That would be my top dream DVDs together with Orton, Punk and Morrison....A real Morrison DVD which means 3 disc with not only Morrison but with Nitro ( MNM and Nirto & Melina)

In an effort to bring this back on topic (take your regal fighting to the regal thread)

Both been done in recent years.

I want:

*Jericho
*Orton
*Regal (unlikley, but hey...)
*Hart Foundation 'family tree' (History, roots of Bret & Jim, Tag Team, the Owen/Bret fued, the reformation as a faction, Pillman, The Hart Dynasty and so on.)
*Ted DiBiase

You know there is a Hart Family DVD coming out that covers the entire history of the Hart Family in pro wrestling?

^^^Awesome indeed!

Been meaning to do my own comp of the SCSA/Harts fued from '97 for some time... I guess this will only delay matters somewhat.

They only made a Jericho in VHS i believe.

Yeah... 'Break Down The Walls'. Brief history, then tracks his WWE career as far as late-2000/his fued with HHH etc. touching upon Fozzy along the way.

Disc 1

The Hart family has long served as Canada's first family of Sports Entertainment, from patriarch Stu and his Stampede Wrestling and Dungeon, a training site that has produced multiple Hall of Famers, though sons Bret, Owen, on to a new generation of WWE Superstars, The Hart Dynasty. But the family's journey was never a smooth one, as their accomplishments were often punctuated with devastating tragedies and loss. Now for the first time ever, fans can learn the entire story in Hart & Soul: The Hart Family Anthology. A brand new documentary chronicling more than 5 decades of family lineage is filled with never-before-seen Hart family interviews and supplemented with a dozen matches featuring Bret, Owen, Keith, Bruce, The British Bulldog, The Dynamite Kid, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, The Hart Dynasty, and more!

Awesome. Looks to be a great DVD. Has a few matches that I have been wanting the WWE to put out like the 10 man tag and the Bret/Owen cage match @SS 94.

Eddie Guerrero

Ric Flair

The Hardyz

Edge

They all already have one The Hardys and Eddie I believe have multiple DVDs lol.

One more question about the Hart DVD, when is it going to be released?

Another person who I would have loved to have been able to get a DVD was Chris Benoit, which would have been awesome being that he is arguably one of the best workers in WWE history but being that how he died/the aftermath of his death I do not ever see it happening. I believe that Vince even said that after they found out about the cause of death they were never going to mention Benoit again.

Flair has multiple too and they just came out with an Edge one.

Don't know about the Hart release date, heard closer to the summer, but who knows

As for Benoit, they have a DVD on him and its actually very good, its actually the first of when the WWE started to make more serious documentry dvd's rather then the joke documentry's they had before.

Also Vince has said that they won't ignore Benoit's contributions, but that they aren't going to focus on him as being a great person. Which is why in some of the more recent releases he is seen or his matches are not edited out anymore.

Yeah, If I recall benoit had one called Hard Knocks that came out right around or after Wrestlemania XX if I am not mistaken. I would have really like though a Best of Benoit DVD, much like Eddie got after he died. I believe that Rey had a DVD come out a few years ago If I am not mistaken, like back in 2004.

LOL didn't know that.

Rey Mysterio

Chris Benoit

Rey has had 2 different dvds come out. His first one was called "619", & was a 1 disc dvd with documentary and matches from WCW & WWE, released in 2003. His second dvd was a 3 disc set called "Rey Mysterio: The Biggest Little Man", released in 2007 & had matches from AAA (1 match), ECW (2 matches), WCW & WWE. A Benoit 3 disc set might be released many years from now, the murder-suicide is far too recent for WWE to release anything like that. The Benoit Hard Knocks dvd is really good with Super J-cup matches, breaking Sabu's neck, a match vs Booker T from the classic best of 7 series, 2 excellent matches with Kurt Angle, etc. My only complaint with it is that they didn't have any of his ECW tag matches with Dean Malenko when they were a part of Shane Douglas' original Triple Threat. Specifically the run in on Taz/Sabu vs the Public Enemy Tag Title match at Double Tables was really damn good stuff & led up to the tag title match at the next card (Taz/Sabu vs Malenko/Benoit).

What are everyone's thoughts on the current WWE 3 disk formats for DVD's? Not all of the documentary type DVD's have used three disks; The Rise and Fall of ECW, The Triple H DVD and one of the Foley DVD's I believe were only two disks, but for the most part its a 3 disk set. Do you think they should be longer? Shorter? Include more matches? Just kind of curious.

They definitely need more matches on dvds. The Horsemen dvd should have been 4 discs instead of 2, with 3 discs devoted to matches, feuds and promos, similar to the Ric Flair WWE sets. The Rise & Fall of ECW should have been at least 3 discs, it was way too short for a company that had many good matches, feuds & promos. I prefer the 3 disk sets as it allows more matches & promos, etc. The Roddy Piper dvd set was great for the fact that they put a lot of Piper's Pits & promos on one disc of the set.

I think with each DVD it varies. Some could use more matches, others could use more promos/interviews. I thought that the Rise and Fall of WCW didn't need so much more matches just a better match selection, and a few promos from the NWO vs WCW feud would have been cool as well.
