They've tried several options over the years as a 'heir to Rey Mysterio' but they've always come back to the Rey himself. Time's running out to find someone. Dragon Lee has a great shot at being the guy to be the next big masked superstar. I do worry that they've fast-tracked him prematurely form NXT, but I think he has the wrestling ability and (more importantly) the promo ability to take on the task.
