Ted DiBiase Jr. debuted on RAW this week. After being introduced by his father "The Million Dollar Man", DiBiase told WWE Tag Team champions Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes that they were on notice because, "Everybody has a price...but I'm simply priceless." He has dropped the Jr. as part of his ring name. DiBiase had been set to debut on SD! but obviously plans changed. He had even worked several SD! house shows in recent weeks. Management is said to be high on him and feel he can become a good heel. We shall see.

For those who missed it, Vince McMahon announced at the end of RAW this week that there would be a Draft Lottery in four weeks. That would be June 23rd RAW at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Vince also announced that he would be giving away one million dollars out of his pocket every week to fans who tune into RAW. He said he would need a week or so to work out all the details.

Is Ted DiBiase good? And what's with Vince's $1 Million thing, I don't get it. Does he just split $1 Million between like 4 Million viewers or something?

Oh, Hell Yeah! The only replacement GM that, for me, could have cushioned the blow of the Regal suspension. A masterstroke! ...Was praying his appearance on last week's Raw wasn't just a random cameo.

I'd fuckin' love to see DiBiase & Vince fued at some point.

DiBiase looks pretty good as of now since people are with him, I think that they're going to go towards that heel stable that had been mentioned some time ago, which has all second generation superstars. I would really want to see that as it would expose the talent off many superstars who look useless as of now.. And as for Vince giving out 1 Million Dollars, huh?

Yes, Dibiase Jr is pretty good in the ring (At least from what I've seen) and he's already better on the mic that a lot of people on the roster... My guess. Ted buys out Cody Rhodes who turns on Holly and the young guys become the tag-champs.

Thats what I was thinking! But then again I would love to see a second generation feud between the two youngsters first!

I think Holly is the more corruptable of the two. Plus it'd ressurect the old bad blood between Diabiase Snr. & Rhodes' family (SSlam90 - RR91).

What exactly is Vince supposedly "desperate" about?

Television ratings, more money and more audience that view Monday Night RAW :disgust1: Let's just wait and watch how they unfold this...

Shit... people cant just let him give away money. Are you honestly gonna call him desperate for rating? Hows that? Hiom giving away money to the AUDIENCE wont have anything to do with ratings on tv, because its not affecting people at home... If anything, its helping attendance, but WWE already has very good attendance, so whatever, just let them give away a million bucks....

Also, why is this even posted in news  I mean, its not news, its just the Raw results, which we saw kast night.

Anyways, Ted Jr. looked pretty good, and he got some good heel heat too.

So giving away a million dollars to a person who randomly tunes in, isn't going to get more people watching just to try and win a million bucks? If that isn't buying viewers/ratings.. I really don't know what is.

And once you start paying people to watch your show, that isn't good

As oppsed to TNA who bribed fans to clap during a PPV and didnt even come through on the promise. Its a give a way for fucks sake, give a ways happen EVERY DAY OF THE GOD DAMN YEAR!

Or how about when WCW back in 2000 hired people to cheer and boo for their Main Event matches? They also had all the technicians and staff dressed in random clothes to make them look like local fans who were paying for tickets and attending shows! :w00t:

They sold pre-made posters outside the Arenas plus the exact same thing Vince McMahon is doing right now; they gave away 1,000 dollars cash via a draw to a random viewer of WCW Monday Nitro every week. This went on for some weeks but then it stopped however there was a gradual increase in the number of people who viewed Nitro...

Whether you like it or not, the strategy has been adopted in the past and quite honestly it has worked in the past. I'm not quite sure how McMahon and this million dollar thing is going to work. But whatever the case, it will get viewers for RAW and that's exactly what he wants but then again, it's a cheap way of doing it.

Are you Blue? Hes giving it to people in the ARENA.... That has nothing to do with the audience at home, therefore, also not having anything to do with ratings. Cause they wont gain more viewers on tv because of some fan getting money IN THE ARENA... If you stopped drooling over TNA and opened your ears to the announcement you wouldve heard that...
