It seems to me that they are a lot of double standards from wrestling fans when it comes to part timers returning. Like let's go with The Rock, a lot of fans seem to trash him, hate that he leaves and comes back. Yet some of them same fans was happy when Brock came back, I heard a lot of reasons why that was okay, and thought okay well than. Now, I seen some of same fans who hate that Batista is back all happy and glad Hogan is back. Only difference here is Batista is wrestling, Hogan isn't but I'm almost sure Hogan will take time away from the young guys. So I wanna talk about why you feel fans do that, and maybe talk about a few other things wrestling fans seem to hold a double standard about.

I will try to be logical in some sense.

People were mad at the Rock for leaving to do movies and not give any credit to his wrestling background and fans for helping him to get where he is. He even dropped Rock off of his name for awhile too. This is why the fans felt upset with him coming back. They felt slighted by his own arrogance.

Brock fans were just getting into his character and he could of been huge had he stayed but he wanted to try to get back onto football and then went to UFC. Not once did Brock pretend to be something that he wasnt. He said this is what he was going to do and he did it.

Batista was not all that great. What did he really do?

Hogan is Hogan. The illogical response is most WWE fans didn't even know he was in TNA but Hogan not wrestling hopefully can be a boost for a show or too not every show. Wrestle mania where would it be without Hogan? This is the 30 year anniversary of it and they are pulling out all the stops take this special. That's why I think there is a double standard in who returns.

But still the fact people complain that part timers come back and take spots from other up and coming stars, yet are okay with this guy doing it or that guy doing it seems weird, I mean the more part timers that come the less and less people might be used. With me, my problem with Hogan being back isn't full on being a part-timer. I just really don't like Hogan. Plus I got no problem when a part-timer returns and puts over someone who needs it. So far the only person that's really been put over by any of these part-timers has been Cena and he doesn't really need that much more of a boost. It's just my view no matter why you leave, what you say when you leave, what you do when you leave, etc etc and come back for a little bit, you're still a part-timer taking away from someone else.

the people who complain about part timers taking up main event slots are generally talking about all 3 (Rock, Brock, Batista), regardless of who they like and don't like.

Let's not forget, the IWC likes a good moan every now and again (myself included) and this is one of those topics that people are passionate about. After all, I like The Rock, and I do believe that if he's being used he should be at the top of the card. Why? Because he's The f'n Rock.

I understand that it takes a spot away from a guy like Daniel Bryan or Dolph Ziggler and that sucks, but I also understand that WWE is a business, and all businesses need to make money. And The Rock at this moment will make WWE far more money than 99% of their active full time roster. Should that be the case? No, but you can blame WWE booking for that by failing to create any new major stars besides CM Punk these last five years.

That's basically what it boils down to, if you like the guy it's fine for them to come back, if you don't then screw them. I mean I can't say I never done that before honestly, I was happy when the NAO won the titles, but in the end it's gonna be okay as they will likely put over the Usos at Wrestlemania. Like I said in the thread talking about the state of the WWE, Batista hopefully puts over Daniel Bryan. It seems the only person who really comes back just to put people over is Jericho, which also sucks because if you come back and all you do is lose well people beating you becomes less and less meaningful. They need to find a balance for these guys honestly, give them some wins, make them seem like they are unstoppable in away, and finally they put someone over huge who stops them.
