As a side bar I do find it funny this happens every game invariably with me lmfao. I start sussing someone and they start asking my reasons, and nobody ever accepts my reasons when town lol. Like is there any point where it's okay to admit, "I don't know why and I literally cannot explain in a cogent essay why I think Person A is scum, I just feel like he is because vibes and I'm looking for any thin justification I can to vote them" lol

I am not Thomas Jefferson, excellent prose writer and essayist. I'm more akin to J.D. Salinger and his slop. :kawhi

I think the problem might be the looking for any thin justification to judge them scum instead of just saying it's vibes lol that's actually exactly what I said it looked like you were doing and that's not town behavior

Just trying to have fun with your pals who aren't named Blaze I presume
I still love Grim, even if he's a poopy head.

I mean if you feel someone is scum wouldn't you want to try and grasp anything that may help confirming your suspicions?

Like yeah I'm not gonna accept reasons you're admitting are leaps to try and work backwards into a scum read you already have. You can have vibes but it shouldn't be at the expense of your town detective skills

...no lol this is a big philosophy difference apparently. Town should probably try and be open and honest when at all possible unless it's a glaring benefit to scum. Grasping at weak straws to try and get a vibe read lynched instead of just trying to sus out more than a vibe yourself is not optimal

I was having bad vibes about everyone early and thought most responded to my questions well and switched to good vibes, I'm probably the opposite extreme here lol

I mean we're accepting a largely town read towards Booty based on vibes alone :kawhi

No one says you have to accept it, I keep qualifying it that it's my own vibes on him and not based on thread evidence. I wouldn't have a real defense for him if someone were to think he's scum bc I only have my vibes

I don't want to believe I would. I would like to get a better understanding of everyone. Because yeah where the main goal here is to have fun with friends, I think not playing to the best of your ability to just get a Lynch on someone seems scummy. Maybe the reason you dont care if town wins, is because you're not town.

Vote Grim

Like my whole philosophy on Mafia has changed entirely to where I feel like we really need to stop caring so much about deep analyses and trying to parse people out for their "tells" lol. Just vote who you don't like and if you're wrong, it's aw shucks, guess I was wrong! Mafia does not affect my life in any capacity and (with the help of some incredible meds) I don't need to take it super seriously like I used to!

I will be up early tomorrow AM and cast my vote. I can't in good conscious vote just yet with so much time remaining, I want to sift through as much as I can. But I certainly am leaning towards Grim as scum, although in the back of my head Chris' self-assessment of always wrongfully convicting Grim makes me almost nervous about this lmaooo.
