WWF Tag Team Champions: Strike Force-7/11/87

WWF Wrestling Challenge
December 6th, 1987
Omaha, NE

Match#1 Rick Rude vs Omar Atlas

Rude gets 2 minutes to show what he can do, and it mostly works as he's hitting har and moving well as he runs through his stuff. Backbreaker ends it.
*1/2

They air Tunney's interview.

Match#2 Jake Roberts vs Barry Horowitz
Jake wins in 50 seconds with the DDT.
TRUST ME

Post match, Barry meets Damien.

Craig Interviews-
-The Young Stallions are on a role and they want a shot against the very best.
-Powers says they can have a nice match with SF and show they can hang with the very best.
-They've been working hard at the gym and they feel it's making them closer and closer.

In a pre-tape, Slick is mad that Ted is trying to buy the title out from under Reed and OMG, as they can bring the title to him. Love seeing heels being mad at him as well.

Back in the booth, even Heenan says he doesn't like this.

They replay Hammer/Brutus in full.

Match#3 Harley Race vs Jerry Allen
Short but a fun beating from our king. Fisherman ends it.
*

Stage Interview-
-Davis & Hart are the guests, but Craig bring out Sam Houston as well.
-Sam cuts a bad promo about being happy to be here and kicking Davis' butt, and Danny says he cheated and the referees helped him out of spite.
-Sam says he takes his hat off when he goes into his mama's house and he's in the company of a pretty lady, and he's neither.
-Davis smacks his hat off, so Houston jumps him and they have a fun pull apart.

Match#4 Don Muraco vs Pete Sanchez.
Fuck yeah, Don finally gets more than a minute and unloads a classic cocaine ass kicking to the kid. Lots of killer punches and knees, and then he uses some cool throws to mess him up more. Tombstone does it. Bobby talks about how he has men and families to look after, and you can't buy the title.
*3/4

Watch the Slammy's and vote for Demolition.

Match#5 The Hart Foundation w/Jimmy Hart vs Sivi Afi & Scott Casey
Tremendous 3 minutes of pissed off HF bashing these kids to send a message to the entire divison. Anvil is again a crazy bull of a human hitting super hard, and Bret is getting better and better at a stupid rate that might never stop until 97. Hart Attack kills Afi.

WWF HOUSTON-10/12

Demolition w/Mr Fuji vs Brady Boone & Billy Jack Haynes w/Ken Patera
Oh shit, love to see this feud come back to life for a big match. Good ass fight to start as the faces are a house of fire and take it right to them, and we see that Demo can bump huge when called upon. The faces target Ax's arm for a while and have some nice work on it, and his selling and attempts to fight out all rock. Fuji trips Boone with his cane to turn the tide, and the monster go to work on his neck and body with clubs and grimey work turning and ripping his skull off. Demo get proper violent and brutal on him with shots to the face when he dares to fight back even for a second. BJH finally gets in and works pretty hard with his fire, and Demo again bump around the place. It all breaks down and Smash slams Boone off the top right onto his head and then hits a Hot Shot to win.
**3/4

Strike Force (c) vs The Hart Foundation w/Jimmy Hart (WWF World Tag Team Championships)

HF jump them before the bell and we get a big brawl, and it's so nice to see them getting to go at it again because this should and needs to be THE tag feud for a while given everyone is at their peak of powers. Bret and Martel fight once it settles down and they go at it on the mat, and Rick gets the best of it and sends Hart scrambling a few times for a break. Tito joins in and also smokes him by controlling the arm and then kicking him in the head when he tries to get out. Love seeing Tito refuse to take anyone's shit. TITO HITS BRET WITH THE FOREARM, BUT ANVIL KNEES HIM IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD TO CUT THE PIN OFF AND THEY ISOLATE HIM. Fantastic control seg as they attack his now injured neck with the ropes and classic super cool HF double teams, and Tito's selling is next level as always. All the cutoffs are nasty and brutal and the crowd gets hotter and hotter for Tito to get free. He clashes heads with Bret and they both collapse, and Tito gets up first and rams Bret into the buckles for the famous bump, and he finally tags in Martel who goes apeshit on them with everything he can muster. HE GETS BRET IN THE CRAB, BUT ANVIL HITS HIM IN THE HEAD WITH THE TITLE FOR THE DQ.
***

Ricky Steamboat vs Ron Bass
Guess Betsy got her man. Ricky uses his speed to doge and weave Bass for as long as he can, and even breaks out a rana in 1987 to send him down on his head. Steamer keeps it up and runs the big man all over the ring and outside, and makes him look the fool. He works the arm and controls for a while, but Bass is able to hot shot him to cut him off and beat him up with some killer work on the neck from piledriver to dropping him onto the ropes. All super mean and and petty from this big son of a bitch. Steamer's selling is perfect as he's turning purple and coughing up a lung the entire time. Ricky comes back and lights him up with chops and armdrags, and Bass takes a sweet series of bumps for all of it. RICKY HITS A RUNNING CROSSBODY AND GETS THE 3 IN A BIG SHOCKER.
**3/4

Hulk Hogan (c) vs Ted DiBiase w/Andre The Giant & Virgil (WWF World Championship)

Hogan goes wild when he sees Andre out there and he drops Ted at a billion miles an hour, and attacks Virgil as well for the hell of it. Ted's bumps are unreal as he's sending himself all over and nearly breaking his neck each and every time Hogan hits him with something big. Andre distracts Hogan eventually and Ted is able to take over, and his control rules as he's throwing those super cool looking shots to the head and body, and Hogan dies on it all. Ted stays on him and gets maybe the longest control anyone this year as had outside of Andre, which is a massive endorsement. Hogan Hulks Up but Ted avoids the Big Boot! HOLY SHIT! Hogan then is able to throw Ted into Virgil on the apron, and he schoolboys him for the win.

Des Moines, IA

Match#1 Demolition w/Mr Fuji vs Jim Evans & Brady Boone

Boone gets fucked up again as Demo clearly just hate his entire life, so he gets smacked like a little bitch. Evans hits it as well, and that's a sick series of clubs and huge throws. Evans loses his skull for the loss.
**

POST MATCH, THEY THROW BOONE TO THE FLOOR AND KILLS EVANS WITH ANOTHER ONE. Boone tries to help, but they kill him again. BJH and Patera run down and make the save.

Stage Interview-
-Brutus talks about the pain he felt when his leg was about to snap as he could hear the bones crack. He's going to turn that pain back into Hammer's body.
-He calls Hammer jealous and clouded and says he hates himself, and he can't possibly like anyone as a result.
-This is not over, and the war is still on.

Match#2 Rick Rude w/Bobby Heenan vs Mike Richards
The dirty sweathog gets beaten down like he should by a man's man. Good offence as always as Rude is slowly getting cooler and cooler. Backbreaker ends it.
*1/2

Mean Gene-
-Gene is standing in front of chain link fence, and he says Randy will be facing HTM in a cage match.
-Randy walks on and says this is sectioned and his back is against the wall, AND WHEN HE STANDS ON TOP HE IS BIGGER THAN ANDRE AND HE WILL HIT AS HARD AS HE CAN. HE'S GOING TO GET HTM LIKE HE DID TO ELIZABETH.

Match#3 Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Pete Sanchez
HOOOOOOOO. Jesse and Bruno argue over Hacksaw possibly being mentally handicapped, and Bruno tells him he might get hit with a 2x4. Fun squash from Hack with all the fun shot and hooooooing he can muster. 3 Point does it.
*3/4

Craig Interviews-
-SF are ready to fight the Foundation once more to prove it wasn't a fluke when they won the titles.
-Rick calls them the broken heart foundation and tells them to stop crying and get ready to fight.

Match#4 Greg Valentine w/Jimmy Hart vs Scott Casey
Jesse throws some shots Bruno for being old and says Vince was on the bottle when Bruno was champion. HAH. Awesome Hammer outing as he gets 3 minutes away from pieces of shit, and can just mess a dude up in classic pissed off old man Hammer style. Casey gets killed over and over, and then Hammer beats him with the Figure Four.
**

WWF Update-
-Craig again talks about Ted's desire to buy the championship
-Craig says Hogan has promised to make a comment next week, but he can't wait for that. He finds him leaving his room, and Hogan says he will give him an answer next week. Ted approached all his family members and they are all from a modest background, and they couldn't handle it, and he neither can. Hogan walks off, and Craig says he could sell out, AND HOGAN RUNS BACK ON AND SAYS WHATEVER HE DECIDES NEXT WEEK, WILL BE SOMETHING HE WONT EVER REGRET.
-This rules so damn much.

HTM sings a song and shows his music video again.

Match#5 One Man Gang w/Slick vs Sonny Rodgers
Fuck yeah, OMG is on one tonight as he mauls the kid right away with the fat and clubbering, and then kills him with the Gordbuster.
*3/4

In a pre-tape, Jimmy Hart is mad about DiBiase buying the title and he knows Hogan will sell out. He is demanding that Hammer get a shot before that happens.

In another one, Humperdink prays Hogan won't sell out.

Match#6 The Ultimate Warrior vs Dusty Wolfe
Another fine little squash for Warrior before he becomes what we all know. Press Slam does it.
*

Match#7 The Islanders w/Bobby Heenan vs Jim Parks & Jerry Allen
Jesus, what an episode. Only 90 seconds but still kicks all the ass in the world as they do their thing in violent and sick fashion. Tama wins with his Splash.
*3/4

Mean Gene-
-Jimmy Hart is sad that HTM is being locked up like an animal. He walks off very sad.
-HTM walks up and says this is not what his fans need for him as it could be a career ender, and he could lose the IC title and he can't have any of that happen.

Next Week; HOGAN DECIDES.

Match#1 Bam Bam Bigelow w/Olvier Humperdink vs Brian Costello

"He never had any toys when he was a child and that's why he draws on his head"-Bobby
Awesome as shit Bamer squash as he's got two minutes to do all the cool and rad stuff he can think of, and the jobber is a great punching bag for him. Slingshot ends it
**

WWF Update-
-Craig cover the Hammer/Brutus happenings

Match#2 The Bolsheviks w/Slick vs Jim Evans & Brady Boone
This is also 2 minutes because life is pain. Boris is proper trash, but he's at least trying hard as much as his limited skills will allow. Whereas Nik is a new level of lazy and bad, and he needs to go away from everyone. Boris wins with his terrible headbutt.
Russia post WW2

Mean Gene-
-Mr Fuji talks about all the evil things he makes Demo do to get ready for the Combat Zone
-Smash says they swam a lake and climbed a tall building, and Fuji has ordered them to go to the top and win the belts. YES
-Ax says they've reached nearly every goal Fuji set for them "127 people in the hospital. 27 Legs broken. 31 Arms broken" and next is taking out Patera and BJH on the way to the titles.
-Fuji wants the titles and that's what they're bringing him.
-IT WOULD HAVE BEEN 128 PEOPLE IN THE HOSPITAL, BUT THEY KICKED ONE GUY SO HARD UNDER THE RING THEY COULDN'T FIND HIM AGAIN.

Watch the Slammy's

Match#3 Danny Davis w/Jimmy Hart vs Sam Houston
Massive fist fight right away and it's sick as hell as they're throwing hard and great looking ones, and beating the fuck out of each other. They keep rolling to the floor to fight and and they get more and more wild with shots. They end up fighting the floor and both are counted out
**1/4

Post match, they keep at it as refs and Hart try to break it up, but they won't stop and keep bashing the piss out of each other. Finally, Houston knocks him out cold and dances with the fans. Awesome stuff.

Mean Gene-
-HTM & Jimmy say nothing new.

Match#4 Strike Force vs Dusty Wolfe & Steve Lombardi
Bloody hell, give me more and more of this. 3 and half minutes of truly the best wrestler in the company, and the coolest face ever getting to beat the crap out of an all time jobber. So, yeah it's sick as hell and my and your jam entirely. Tito takes a lot of offence and sells his ass off, and then Martel plays clean up and wins with the Crab.
**

Stage Interview-
-Ted & Virgil are here.
-Ted shows off the magazine cover with him on it, and says everyone has a price for him even the publisher of the magazine had one. He bought the cover hahahahahahhaha.
-He's on a buying spree the world title is the biggest buy of his life, and he's getting it.
-Hogan is under serious pressure and going crazy thinking about what to do, but he has a price like everyone. His price is up there, and everyone has a price for him.

Match#5 Dino Bravo w/Frenchy Martin vs Lanny Poffo
Goddamn it, man. Awful, awful stuff despite Lanny's best efforts to carry this goon. Bad Sidewalk Slam ends it.
1/2*

Koko B. Ware & the Junkyard Dog vs Barry Horowitz & Terry Gibbs

Ewwwwww. Koko tries his damndest but there's far too much awful JYD dragging it all down, sadly. THUMP ends it.

TONIGHT; HOGAN DECIDES.

Match#1 Randy Savage w/Miss Elizabeth vs Steve Lombardi
Randy gets 3 minutes with the second best jobber in the world, and hey it's amazing as all hell. He beats him up on the outside with gross kicks to the head and body, and then smokes him with the Axe Handle to clobber him worse. Elbow ends the fun.
**

WWF Update-
-Craig wants you to watch the Slammy's

Match#2 Ted DiBiase w/Virgil vs Rick Hunter
90 seconds of Ted laying in shots to the old man as he's super mean and focused on the beating, so it's a great little squash. Jesse says Hogan will take the money so he can be set for life, and Vince and Bruno refuse to believe him. Back Elbow does it.
*3/4

Post match, Ted gets on the mic and says he's been saying for weeks and weeks that everyone has a price for him, and later tonight he will prove that even Hulk Hogan has a price.

Mean Gene-
-Hogan (still wearing the torn bandana) talks about all the good looking girls at the gym, and you could not imagine the pump he gets from watching them. AMAZING.
-He' ready for a fight with Rick Rude after taking out the rest of the family. He's got 24 inches running down the highway and he's using them because how could you not when you're jacked like him, dude.
-Hammer laughs about nearly breaking Brutus's leg, and says he wants to end his career and get his respect that he's deserved for so damn long.

Match#3 Don Muraco vs Dusty Wolfe
Short boy at about 60 seconds, but it's Don stiffing and killing a kid so it works very well. Tombstone ends it.
*

Mean Gene-
-Smash says they got an X-Mas tree with steel balls on it that weigh 20 pounds and he's happy because he can use them to break a face, a window and a tree if he wants
-Ax is also happy because they have cornered Strike Force and they can't run. They are fighting champions, but they are not WARING champions who can fight like them. Those titles are theirs.

Match#4 The Hart Foundation w/Jimmy Hart vs Outback Jack & Omar Atlas
Hell yeah. We get a hoss fight of sorts with Anvil and Jack, and our hero beats the fuck out of this goof like the complete nothing he is. They get rid of him and beat Omar's head in, and it's another fantastic outing for HF. I wish WWF had actually given them something to do as champions, because they are fucking perfect. Hart Attack gets the win.
**

Stage Interview-
-Craig covers the history of DiBiase's evil ways, and then brings out Hogan to a massive reaction.
-Hogan says the offer can change his and families lives like nothing else. He could help all the little hulkamanics like the poor and ones with mental problems, brother.
-But in thinking of all that and how easy is could all be, he wants to say HELL NO. IF YOU WANT THE TITLE, COME AND TRY AND GET IT
-FUCK YEAH

Match#5 Jake Roberts vs Brian Costello
Awesome 2 minutes of Jake doing his thing with the arm work and cool offence, and it's fun stuff. Jesse talks about making boots out of Damien if he wins any awards at the Slammy's, and it's amazingly evil. DDT gets it done.
**

Post match, the jobber meets Damien.

Match#6 Ron Bass vs Tio Samoa
What a name for the jobber. Bass beats the tar out of him with some cool roughouse work on neck using his gross strikes, and ring ropes to fuck him up good and proper. Proto-Pedigree leads to the win
*3/4

Match#7 Koko B Ware vs Raul Mato

Sick as hell 2 minutes of Koko going nuts on this kid with the smoothest and coolest stuff he can do to a human. He has a cut in singing his song, and Vince loves it. Ghostbuster ends it
**

Mean Gene-
-Rude says he's going to run rings around Hogan until he's dying for breath and seeing double, and he's going to get him up for that backbreaker and make him quit for the first time ever.
-He's going to make him breathe heavy and then beat him down for the title.

Match#1 The Young Stallions vs Dave Wagner & Rick Renslow

The pretty boys get 3 minutes as it's their turn for the weekly long match on Challenge, and it's a nice display of basics done very well in a decent manner, Roma wins with a sunset flip off the top in the most exciting moment of the match.
*

Match#2 Rick Rude w/Bobby Heenan vs Outback Jack
Fuck yeah, Rude squashes and batters this dork in sick fashion, and warms my heart as a result. He shows off his strength by easily lifting him for the Backbreaker to win.
*3/4

Mean Gene-
-Jimmy Hart is very upset how this year ended for HF, but he's got an open contract for everyone to face them.
-Anvil says he's going to steal all the kids presents to show them what he went through.
-Bret says they're going to re-group and beat SF for the titles because they are the best in the world. They've got no chance in a rematch.

Match#3 Brutus Beefcake vs Barry Horowitz
Short nothing work from Brutus this week, despite Barry's best efforts to get something out of nothing. Sleeper ends it.
1/2*

Post match, Barry gets his hair cut.

Mean Gene-
-DiBiase & Virgil are the guests.
-Ted says money is a big reason he's here because he can buy what he wants, but he's also a great wrestler who has beaten everyone in record time.

Match#4 One Man Gang & Butch Reed w/Slick vs Lanny Poffo & SD Jones
Goddamn what a team of monsters. They also get 3 minutes and give the kids a little before taking their heads off and kicking the piss out of them. Sick strength spots from Butch, and cool fat man stuff from OMG. 747 does it
**

Stage Interview-
-Hacksaw shows up and talks about Santa being his pal along with all the kids.

Match#5 Ultimate Warrior vs Rex King
Under a minute of Warrior hitting hard and clubbing the poor kid. Press Slam ends it
1/2*

TONIGHT; ISLANDERS VS BULLDOGS

Match#1 Bam Bam Bigelow vs Van Van Horne

BBB gets 2 minutes and rocks a ton as always as he's just so much fun squashing dudes with his epic fat moves, and insane speed on top of it. OMG has a cut in saying Bam will never beat him. Slingshot kills the kid and gives Bammer the win.
**

Stage Interview-
-Ted is beyond mad at Hogan for rejecting his offer as he calls him a fool who turned down a stupendous offer of money that would make everyone's head swim. Hogan will look back on and this and realise how stupid he was.
-There is more than one way to skin a cat, and there is more than one way to humble the Hulkster. HE WILL BRING HIM TO HIS KNEES AND MAKE HIM PAY FOR THIS BECAUSE HE WANTS THE WORLD TITLE. HOGAN HAS A PRICE AND HE WILL GET IT BECAUSE HE ALWAYS GETS WHAT HE WANTS. HE WILL BUY THAT TITLE, AND YOU CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK.

Match#2 One Man Gang w/Slick vs Tom Horne
Vince makes fun of the jobber being small and skinny, and Jesse saves it by saying OMG makes everyone look small. Sweet 90 seconds from the big man with his killer offence, and a jobber willing to eat shit and die. Bammer has a cut in saying he's not a hard man to find. 747 ends it.
*3/4

Mean Gene
-Hogan walks on and shows his pinky and says that's Rick Rude. He's beaten Andre at Mania, and Rude is a worthy contender but Hogan is on top and used to hanging and banging and this will not be any different.
-He wants a pose down to show him the 24 inch pythons are as big as his legs, and if he forget to wear his skinny pants he's going to snap his legs in half
-Well, that was uncalled for.

Match#3 Brutus Beefcake vs Rick Ganter
More boring stuff for Brutus as he's now getting lazier and lazier now that his gimmick is doing the heavy lifting and he's over. Sleeper ends my pain.
POOP

Post match, he cuts the kids hair.

Craig interviews-
-Randy says in 88 when he's walking down that aisle he's carrying momentum like never before. His heart is unchained for those who don't like him, and HTM is entering the DANGER ZONE after what he did to Liz.
-1988 is MACHO MADNESS YEAH DIG IT. expect the unexpected and HTM should wear 200 pair of tights when they wrestle because he's going to strip him naked. YEAH NAKED

We see clips of all of Hogan's fans being happy he didn't sell out.

Before his match, HTM brings out Peggy Sue to be in his corner.

Match#4 Honky Tonk Man w/Peggy Sue & Jimmy Hart vs Brady Boone
Short one sadly at a minute, but still a nice beating of this poor sap. SSR ends it.
1/2*

WWF Update-
-Craig shows footage of the slammy's where Hacksaw and Race got into a fight backstage.

The big tag match is set to happen, but Matilda goes after Bobby and he runs away. He gets the mic and calls her a fat rat and says they're leaving unless she's taken out. Matilda stays, so the Islanders sneak up from behind and beat the shit out of the dogs, AND BOBBY TAUNTS THE DOG AND CALLS HER A STUPID FLEABAG AND A MUTT. AMAZING. Islanders kicks the hell out of them and dump on the floor, AND HAKU STEALS THE DOG AND THE HEELS RUN OFF TO THE BACK WITH HER AS THE DOGS GIVE CHASE. Fantastic angle.

Match#5 Rick Rude vs Jerry Allen
Bobby isn't there in a cool little bit. Jesse says Rude won the slammy for the best body aka Jesse Ventura award, and it's a fair shit all things considered. Super short at about 45 seconds before Rude wins with the Backbreaker.
Best Body

Match#6 The Ultimate Warrior vs Rick Renslow

Super fun one for Warrior as's moving faster and hitting big shoulder presses, and looks almost like the guy we all know. He kills the kid dead with a gross looking Press Slam.
*3/4

Backstage, we find Craig. He says the Bulldogs are on a frantic search for Matilda, but the Islanders and Bobby have fled the building.

Honky Tonk Man (c) w/Peggy Sue vs Randy Savage w/Miss Elizabeth (WWF Intercontiental Championship-Jimmy Hart Suspended Above The Ring-26/12
Randy jumps him with his bandana and glasses still on as he kicks his butt, and it's another all time moment for maybe the coolest son of a bitch to ever live. He stays on him, but Peggy trips him, and HTM hurls him to the concrete to mess him up. HTM beats him down on the outside and gets really violent on the arm using the rails, and Randy holds his arm super close as HTM ramps it up with another super solid control seg. Randy more than holds his end up, but it's really speaking to HTM's growth that it's way better than anything he did for the first few months here. Savage's attempted comebacks all rock as he beats HTM's face in, but keeps getting cut off until he finally backdrops him to the floor in revenge. He kills him with the Axe Handle and rams him into the post and kicks the crap out of him like a true nutcase. We get a great shot of Jimmy freaking out in the cage, and back in the ring the ref gets crushed into the buckles by Randy. Savage stays on HTM, but he gets distracted by Peggy going after Liz, and he has to restrain himself from killing her, BUT IT ALLOWS HTM TO HIT HIM IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD WITH THE IC TITLE AND SAVAGE LANDS ON THE FLOOR FACE FIRST AND HE'S OUT COLD. The bell rings, and Fink announces HTM has been DQ.
***

Post match, Randy attacks HTM and Jimmy and clunks their heads together. He then rips off Peggy's wig and sends her running.

LAST SHOW OF THE YEAR. THANKS FOR READING AND LIKING MY NONSENSE.

WWF World Champion: Hulk Hogan-23/1/84
WWF Intercontinental Champion: Honky Tonk Man-13/6/87
WWF Tag Team Champions: Strike Force-7/11/87

WWF Wrestling Challenge
December 27th, 1987
Ft. Myers, FL

Match#1 Strike Force vs Rick Ganter & Terry Gibbs

One last time for the year, our boys open the show with another stellar squash. I know i say the same stuff a lot, but yeah this is a goshdarn blast because of how smooth and great every moment is that they give us. HF have a cut in calling them little thieves, and promise 88 will be the year of revenge. Martel is again perfect on the hot tag as he murders everyone in sight and wins with the Crab.
**

They replay Hogan turning down DiBiase.

Match#2 Ted DiBiase w/Virgil vs Silvi Afi
Ted is PISSED as hell, so he uses all two minutes to clobber and kill the poor jamoke for being near him. Gross strikes to the head and body as he's laying it all in, and Afi dies on it all. Back Elbow does the job.
**
Craig Interviews-
-Rick Rude says this was a super year him for him and he's in a peppy mood, so happy new years to everyone. It won't be near his 88 as he's moving on to the biggest and best things possible, little man.
-He's going after titles and someone's old lady, and he shocked people don't realise why he's here.

Match#3 Jake Roberts vs Steve Lombardi
Holy shit, talk about accidental foreshadowing with Jake following that promo about stealing wives. Awesome 2 minutes of Jake working the arm and body and bashing Lombardi time and time again, and the best jobber bumps his ass off like no one can. DDT ends the fun.
**
Post match, Lombardi meets Damien.

Craig Interviews-
-Dink talks about Bammer being a one of kind wrestler who can do things no one can, and OMG is in for a long night.

Match#4 Don Muraco vs Frank DeFalco
90 seconds of Don beating the poor big man up with an array of great knees, elbows and headdrops. Slick has a cut in saying this brother has a made a grave mistake, and he's going to get a natural beating. Tombstone ends it.
*3/4

Stage Interview-
-Fuji and Demo are here
-Smash says they beat everyone's brains in when they fight them, and the belts are next on that list.
-Ax says the 88 belongs to them and they're going to break more bones than ever before, and no one is safe when they face the Demo. THEY WANT THE BEST BECAUSE THEY ARE THE BEST.

They replay Islanders stealing the dog.

Match#5 Randy Savage w/Miss Elizabeth vs Jerry Grey
What a way to end the year, goodness. Randy smashes the piss out of the kid for 2 minutes and it's the best stuff as always because Randy never misses. Insane strikes from the punches and elbows to the Ax Handles, and then just throwing the kid as hard as he possibly can into whatever he can. The Elbow and one foot on the chest ends our last match.

1987 WWF FEUD OF THE YEAR-

A year of amazing feuds in ring and out of it, but one of them changed the game in ways that we're still feeling it all these years later.

1987 WWF TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR

This is an upset in that for the first time the champions haven't won. Booking messed them up from the get go and it wasn't until the last few weeks of their title run were they able to get free. Sadly, it was too little too late. There was one team that dominated all year, a team that toppled all the others with hard heads and even harder matches. Our winners are...

1987 WWF WRESTLER OF THE YEAR

Holy shit this was a battle to the absolute finish. From our boy Tama having incredible bangers in tag and singles and leading to a while, to Martel showing himself as the best pure babyface in the company. Bret stepped up massive and showed us all its only a matter of time before he takes it home. However, there was one other man who fought and fought and kept his nose in it and at the very last show took it all for himself.
