WWF Tag Team Champions: The Hart Foundation-7/2/87

WWF Superstars of Wrestling
November 7th, 1987
Syracuse, NY

TONIGHT; HART FOUNDATION VS STRIKE FORCE FOR THE TAG TITLES.

Match#1 Jake Roberts vs Rip Oliver
Jake is back in our lives and has 2 minutes instead of 4, so this fucking rocks. Great arm work and knees and elbows to Rip, and it's my jam as you well know. Jake takes his head off with the short arm, but he falls back into the ropes and is tied up. The jobber runs at him, BUT JAKE GETS FREE AND HITS HE DDT OUT OF NOWHERE TO WIN.
**

Post match, Jake drapes Damien onto the kid

Craig Interviews-
-Hack is the guest and he has the robe and crown. HOOOOOOOOO
-He's sick and tired of Race thinking he's better than everyone when they don't have kings in America, and he's keeping this away from him.
-Bobby walks out and gets in his face and calls him a thief, AND RACE SNEAKS UP FROM BEHIND AND CRACKS HIM WITH THE 2X4 ACROSS THE BACK. BOBBY HOLD HACK AS RACE HITS HIM AGAIN. BOBBY KICKS HIM OFF THE STAGE TO THE FLOOR. RACE HITS HIM OVER AND OVER IN THE STOMACH AND RAMS IT DOWN INTO HIS THROAT. BOBBY GIVES HARLEY HIS CROWN AND ROBE BACK.

Match#2 King Kong Bundy w/Bobby Heenan & Andre The Giant vs Pete Lucic
50 seconds of Bundy clubbing and cracking the kid. He hits a running Elbow to win.
1/4*

Post match, Andre's entire team comes out to stand at ringside and celebrate.

Recap of Demo's insane beatdown from last week.

Match#3 Billy Jack Haynes & Ken Patera vs Ray Miller & Terry Gibbs
60 seconds of angry and actual good work from the fellas they're all pissy and mad and take it out on the kids. Fuji has a cut in laughing and says Demo will do whatever he says. Ken wins with the Bearhug.
*

Mean Gene-
sddefault.jpg

-Hogan is ready to rage war with his back against the wall and he's not alone. He's got a beast from the East to have his back, and he's not running or using speed, they'll go nose to nose and play their game. Can you imagine. if let all 5 of of em lose.
-Bam screams his dad taught him to fight and he's a survivor and they will survive and fight, baby,

Match#4 Killer Khan w/Mr Fuji vs Curt Hoffman
Vile trash like always. Knee does it and that's all he's getting because fuck this clown.
1/2*

Craig Interviews-
-Randy and Liz make their way out with the entire team. Really nice to see Steamer after months away because of that darn kid
-Randy says they are the kids of hard knocks and they can get it done. -
-He and Ricky have gone nose to nose and sweated against each other until they couldn't sweat anymore. Ricky will breath fire at Survivor Series
-Jake might do it for money, but his only currency is flesh and bones.
-Hacksaw doesn't see too well, but point him in the right direction and he will hit a grand slam with that 2x4
-Brutus can lean on people, but the intimidation of humiliation could be the coupe de grace of the Survivor Series.

Sam Houston kicked Danny's butt, and he's hoping to kick more behind in the WWF.

https://www.sapo.pt/video/jVN2hZj55o8jDuRb1CZm

in the back, Jimmy hypes HF up and tells them to prove they're the greatest.

Match#5 The Hart Foundation (c) w/Jimmy Hart vs Strike Force (WWF World Tag Team Championships)
Jesse is in shock the titles are being defend on TV as he's never heard of such a thing. Bret and Martel fight first and holy shit is it perfect as perfect can be. SF double team him and grind him down, and its nuts it's taken this long for them to meet because goddamn. Anvil uses his muscle to try and change the tide, but Tito fights back and cracks him, but Bret gets a knee to the back to knock him down and isolate him. They cripple his back with knees to it, and Jesse points out how smart Bret is for doing just that. Like, he's an Excellence of Execution or something. Anvil beats the shit out of Tito as well, and it's a fantastic control seg as HF finally get loose after some pretty bad booking over the last few months. They throw Tito to the floor, and Bret drops a knee off the apron onto the back to mess him up worse. Bret leads the charge and bashes the hell out of him in one of the best things he's done on TV, and Tito dies on everything. The crowd is white hot for him and cheers like crazy for him to fight back, and he finally hurls Bret into the buckles to drop him. MARTEL GETS IN AND GOES FUCKING NUTS WITH PUNCHES ON ANVIL AND A BIG DROPKICK AND HE DROPS BRET AS WELL, AND HE'S SO FULL OF FIRE AND HEART. Rick hits a stunning crossbody off the top, but Bret takes his head off with an elbow, but SF won't die and work together to get rid of Bret, AND MARTEL GETS ANVIL IN THE BOSTON CRAB AND THE BIG MAN QUITS AND WE HAVE NEW CHAMPIONS. FUCK YES.
***1/4

Post match, the crowd comes unglued for the boys and it's one of the loudest pops i've ever heard.

strike-force-wwe-tag-team-championship.jpg

In the back, all the babyfaces party with Strike Force. Tito says he knew they needed to do it tonight and he's so proud and happy.

Next week; SBG vs Reed.

WF BOSTON-7/11

Bam Bam Bieglow w/Oliver Humperdink vs Killer Khan w/Mr Fuji
Yeah, i know i said i was done, but man i can't not watch something as weird and quirky as this. They walk around and stare at each other for a while before Khan hits his really bad and weak looking shots as he's really done with life, and poor BBB is forced to sell shots are missing by inches in some cases. BBB finally gets to fight back and eats this dweeb alive with his cool shit, and looks like the BITW compared to Khan. Bammer wins with a running Splash. Awful match, but a nice showing for Bammer at least.
1/2*

Honky Tonk Man (c) w/Jimmy Hart vs Randy Savage w/Miss ELizabeth (WWF Intercontiental Championship)

Randy is mad once more and fights him on the outside again and it's a great beating as HTM is the perfect pinball for all of Savage's offence and insane behaviour. Jimmy again distracts Savage to let HTM take over, and we get another really good control seg as HTM has gone from a nothing to a super solid pro wrestler in the span of the last few months. HE HITS THE SRR AND RANDY KICKS OUT. OH SHIT. HTM is really mad now and beats the crap out of him, but he can't help but stooge and dance towards Liz and it costs him as Randy comes to life and kicks his ass for messing with her. Randy unloads an wild fired up beating, but he smacks heads with HTM and falls out of the ring to the hardwood floor. Jimmy jumps on his back and stops him from getting in. Randy drops him, but he doesn't get back in time and is counted out.
**1/2

Post match, Randy fights them both off and poses with Liz.

In the back, Ax says Fuji is mad at them for not taking BJH and Ken out of wrestling for goof, and he has demanded they finish the job. Smash says Fuji has trained them to break bones and they are here to destroy everyone in their way.

Demolition w/Mr Fuji vs Billy Jack Haynes & Ken Patera
The faces show some guts by jumping them first and taking the fight right to them, and it's very good as they're hitting hard and showing honest to goodness fire. Fuji trips BJH, and Ax smacks him with a lariat to take over, and we get a sick Demo control seg. They club and smash the piss out of this goofy bastard, and it's a ton of fun watching him eat well deserved shit. Ken tags in on a blind tag, but he gets beat to shit as well in a wonderful moment because fuck him as well. Good work on him, and BJH has a fine hot tag throwing some nice looking punches to the fellas. He gets Ax in the Full Nelson, but Fuji smacks him in the head for the DQ.
**

Strike Force (c) vs The Islanders (WWF World Tag Team Championships-Two Referees)
Slow start for once as neither team wants to make a mistake with so much on the line, and it's a nice change of pace watching Martel and Haku go toe to toe without going insane right away. Rick ramps up the speed first and the boys double team them and make fools out of them with crazy speed. The Islanders re-group and shove Tito into the corner and beat the crap out of him to isolate him. Wonderful beating as always as now they're not just pissed, but they want the belts so the beating is even more focused on destroying our beloved hero with everything they've got. The second ref keeps Martel from getting involved a few times, so Tito is beaten for even longer than normal as there's no chance of a save coming. They grind him down on the mat and bash his neck with nasty looking shots and holds, and Tito's selling is fantastic as hell. Haku throws him to the ground and Tito is beaten down by Tama to make it a little worse, and his woozy selling is goddamn spectacular. Tito finally manages to duck a kick and Tama eats it, AND MARTEL GETS THE HOT TAG AND GOES NUTS ON THEM WITH BACKDROPS AND PUNCHES, AND HE SENDS THEM INTO EACH OTHER AND DOESN'T LET UP FOR A MOMENT. HE THROWS TAMA INTO THE FOREARM, BUT HAKU SAVES AT THE LAST SECOND. TITO GETS RID OPF HIM, AND MARTEL GRABS TAMA IN A CRADLE TO WIN.

I adore this feud so much.

Strike Force (c) vs The Islanders (WWF World Tag Team Championships-Two Referees-Spectrum 7/11)
When a feud is THIS hot along with your company as a hold, you can run it twice in the same day and everyone will say "Hell yeah" Same wonderful opening as always as the routine is down pact and they aren't missing any time soon. The champs batter the challengers with the speed and brutal force of their strikes, and the Islanders take insane bumps on everything. Tito finally gets jumped from behind in the corner with punches and kicks to the body and head, and the fellas go to work with another killer control seg beating the life out of him. The second ref again keeps Martel away from saving, so the boys get even longer to hurt Tito without being stopped, and Martel gets more and more fired up as it goes on. The Islanders miss a kick and brain the other, and Martel gets in and goes apeshit on them like earlier and it's SO fucking great and wonderful. Haku again saves on the Foream, and a massive brawl breaks out and both refs get shoved for the double DQ in a new ending

Tonight; Bulldogs vs Dream Team

Match#1 Bam Bam Bigelow w/Oliver Humperdink vs Terry Gibbs
Another fun 90 seconds of Bammer doing crazy stuff for his size, and cleaning some clocks when he gets a chance. Slingshot Splash ends it.
*

WWF Update-
-Demo blame BJH and Patera for getting involved in this fight, and they will demolish them for Fuji

Match#2 The Ultimate Warrior vs Barry Horowitz
Barry puts his working boots on with big bumps all over the place for Warrior's fine offence, and it's a blast. Warrior has a cut in talking about earthquakes following him around, and Bobby is confused. Press Slam and Splash ends it.
*

Mean Gene-
-Gena talks about Randy having bitter hatred for HTM, and Randy confirms he does indeed hate him.
-He's been imaging all the things he can do to him after touching Liz, and he will NEVER forget about it.
-He's going to hurt HTM and put the spark back in her eyes as he makes him suffer along with his team. This will be her rehab, yeah dig it.

In a pre-tape, DiBiase talks about Steele getting lost instead of showing up to fight him, and he likes that as it means more money for him.

Match#3 The British Bulldogs vs The New Dream Team w/Johnny V
Good 3 minutes as the Dogs and Hammer are magic again even with all the miles on them, and i wish Hammer had an actual good wrestler next to him to make this better. Dino is awful with everything he does, so of course he gets a lot of offence in on DK and looks like an absolute bum in the process. The Dogs fight back, so V attacks for the DQ. Blurrughirtehf. Fuck off.
*3/4

Match#4 The Islanders vs SD Jones & Jerry Allen

Good lord, another 2 minute amazing squash for the fellas as they're just the best and no one can fuck with them. SD eats a ton of shit for once, and it's great because he's old and awful and deserves it. Tama wins with his all time Superfly Splash.
**

-They replay HTM and Jimmy's interview from a few weeks ago.

Match#5 Butch Reed w/Slick vs Omar Atlas

Tonight; Butch vs SBG.

Match#1 Bam Bam Bigelow w/Oliver Humperdink vs Gino Carobello
Vince lets out a classic "OH MY" when Bammer walks out, so you know he's proper in love. Bam gets over a minute to do his thing and it's rad again, but he needs more time to do cool shit. Slingshot ends it.
*

Craig Interviews-
-Andre's entire team is on the stage with Bobby and Slick.
-Bobby hypes them all up and is shocked that anyone thinks they can possibly lose this.
-Bobby says after Hogan gets done with hiding behind his partners like a turkey, he's going to have his hands full with Andre. He brings out a Hogan stretch doll, and he and Slick stretch it to show how bad he's going to get beaten by these monsters.

We get a hype video for Brutus doing his thing.

Match#2 The Bolsheviks w/Slick vs Mario Mancini & Jerry Allen
Vile dogshit once more as this Boris dude is the drizzling piss, and Nik is maybe the laziest and most washed dude in the world at this point. Boris wins with his terrible headbutt.
POOP

Craig interviews-
-Craig is doing the backstage interview
-Jimmy is the guest and says nothing new or important.
-HTM also says nothing new

They recap SF winning the titles.

Match#3 Paul Orndorff w/Oliver Humperdink vs Carmine Surace
Wonderful gets 2 minutes and change to do his thing as his body is cooked for the most part, but the spirit is very willing and it mostly works out well. Piledriver ends it after Wonderful kicks the shit out of this dweeb.
*1/2

Mean Gene-
-Jimmy has Bass, HTM and Davis with him.
-HTM says Bass is bringing Betsy with him to whip and rip the skin and tie them to the ringpost so Randy is all along, daddy.
-Davis tries to say they will leave Randy to last, but he fucks it up and says they'll get rid of him first and then says HTM will take him last. Fucking clown.
-Bass is coming after everyone because he hates them all, and Betsy wants to play.

We get pre-tapes from Houston and Davis calling for a rematch that no one could possibly want, or care about.

Match#4 The Ultimate Warrior vs Steve Lombardi
Warrior gets another all time jobber to carry him for 2 minutes with big bumps and funny stooging, and Warrior looks good by default. Warrior has a cut in saying he's going to bust the door down instead of knocking on it. Warrior hits his good shoulder block and then the combo to win.
*3/4

Craig Interviews-
-Ted and Virgil come out on the stage with the basketball and its time for the most evil thing Ted has ever done.

Match#5 Don Muraco vs Dave Wagner
Don runs right through this joker in 45 seconds and wins with the Tombstone.
Fuck Yeah.

Match#6 Butch Reed w/Slick vs Superstar Bill Graham

Butch jumps this old bag of piss right away and targets the bad hip with wonderful mean work, AND HE HITS WITH A CHAIR AS SLICK DISTRACTS THE REF. He stay on it and further cripples him, and it's fantastic stuff. Sadly, the old man fights back and doesn't sell a goddamn thing. He attacks Slick, but OMG makes the save for the DQ
3/4*

OMG BEATS THE SHIT OUT OF HIM AND LAYS HIM OUT WITH 4 AMAZING SPLASHES, AND DON MURACO MAKES THE SAVE AND HITS EVERYONE WITH SLICK'S CANE. HOLY SHIT YEAH. The old man is loaded on the gurney as Don and Butch have a sick fight on the outside. OMG RUNS BACK AND SPLASHES SBG ON THE FLOOR ONCE MORE. WOOOO KILL HIM. Slick finally gets them away and they leave. Amazing stuff, and in even better news that was the last ever SBG match we have to suffer. Fuck off and die.

Craig Interviews-
-Randy is one half of the Mega Powers and he's got some power of the universe saved up for HTM in Boston. He's going to leave with HTM laying and take the IC title and the women's title off Sheri as well. He will walk all roots as he knows they're coming after him and Liz, and he doesn't need or want to know anything as this will be a hell of a Macho Madness night.

At ringside, the old man is taken away as Vince says this might be the last time we ever see him.

NEXT WEEK HTM VS RICK

-Ricky screams that HTM thinks he's big time by pushing around women, but next week he's going to be the one pushed down.
-HTM has a special tune picked out for Dragon next week.

Tonight; Jake vs Nik.

Match#1 Jake Roberts vs Nikolai Volkoff w/Slick & Boris Zhukov
Poor Jake needs a proper feud again because this bullshit isn't ok at all. He sells very well for Nik's bad offence, and looks as good as he can against the giant slug for 3 minutes. Jake overcomes the heels cheating and rams the Russians into each other and beats Nik with a roll up.
3/4*

Post match, the heels beat him up, but Jake comes back with Damien and chases them away.

WWF Update-
-Craig covers Strike Force's championship win.
-Craig wonders if Tito's Boston Crab will become a staple for the team.

Match#2 Rick Rude w/Bobby Heenan vs Brady Boone
Nice to see Boone is alive after Demo's amazing murder. Good 90 seconds as Rude again hits hard and beats the shit out of a jobber, and Boone takes some nasty shots and bumps on his end. Backbreaker ends it.

-Powers is ready to face the best in the world and show why they're up and comers.

Match#3 Billy Jack Haynes & Keith Patera vs Gino Carabello & Dave Wagner
The killers get 3 minutes and it's really awful as they both can't hold up their ends due to being trash. Demo have a cut in saying this isn't over and they're going to eliminate them at SVS, but they aren't facing them at the PPV?????????? BJH starts botching and you can see Ken getting mad at him. Full Nelson ends it.
3/4*

Mean Gene-
-Bobby's entire team is here, and Gene says they've never missed a meal.

-They cut to footage of all the evil shit he's done since his debut.

Match#5 Randy Savage w/Miss Elizabeth vs Rip Oliver
Bobby says Randy is now SOFT for shaking Hogan's hand. Wonderful squash as Rip is an old school dude who attacks Randy with great punches and kicks, and then gets cut off and beaten to hell by a now even crazy Savage. He does his thing and it's perfect as always. Elbow ends the job.
**

Mean Gene-
-The New Dream want the tag titles as they deserve, and SVS will be the first step in that plan.

Match#1 The British Bulldogs vs Dusty Wolfe & The Gladiator
The Dogs get nearly 4 minutes now that they're healthy and back to it, and hey it kicks a ton of fucking ass. Awesome power stuff from Davey as he's a proper monster at this point, and DK is moving super well and hitting hard. Rocket Launcher does the deed.

-Craig says Don will now be replacing SBG on the team.
-Don is super excited as the word has come down for him to fight and survive and he has a place to be, AND HE HAS FOUND THE POWER.

Another very fun 90 seconds of work from Rude. He's so much better than even a few weeks ago in terms of his movements and offence, and i can't wait for him to reach the next level in 88. Backbreaker ends the kids night.
*3/4

Craig Interviews-
-Craig hypes up an upcoming Boston show with Jimmy being suspended in a cage
-HTM walks on and says his true love Peggy Sue will be at ringside to keep Liz from kissing and hugging him. Please do not touch him or his girl, as it will upset him.
-Craig points out that Sheri is actually Peggy Sue, and HTM is flabbergasted and says that's a lie.
-Ted DiBiase says money is how you really survive. hahahahhahahahahaha

Match#3 Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Iron Mike Sharpe
Duggan gets 3 minutes in a big ask for him, so it's mostly stooging and hooooing in between classic Hacksaw offence. Call it in the middle of good and ok. 3 Point kills out beloved hero.

Stage Interview-
-Hogan's team is on the stage, and the big man has his own big intro before we get down to it.
-Not very Hogan like to overshadow anyone on purpose.
-Hogan says he's been hiding under heavy duty camouflage watching Andre's team, and he sees that their backs are against the wall, brother.
-BBB can take down 10 men at one time, Ken can push the entire arena over with one hand.
-He looks at Wonderful and says he doesn't want his word, just him there, and Wonderful shouts he's here.
-He wants Don to go back to his past at the depth of mankind and help them survive and fight.
-Don shouts they will get it done.

Match#5 The Islanders w/Bobby Heenan vs Billy Wood & Leo Morgan
Jesse rightly points out he saw Wonderful piledrive him right here, and there is no way that Hogan can trust him on such a stage. Vince can't argue it, and actually sounds worried!!! Awesome 3 minutes for the monsters as they kick and chop the piss out of these poor slobs, and i adore it so much. Tama wins with his splash.
**

Before the main event, HTM brings his entire team with him, so Ricky runs to the back and brings the boys out for some backup.

Match#6 Honky Tonk Man (c) w/Jimmy Hart vs Ricky Steamboat (WWF Intercontiental Championship)
Ricky jumps HTM for another wonderful opening fight between them, and it sucks we never got this on PPV down the line. HTM drops him with a lariat and attacks the head with those great punches, and Ricky's selling is Ricky selling. Steamer skins the cat and fires back and pinballs HTM all over the place, and keeps avoiding the heels trying to attack him. HTM cuts him off again and beats his ass, and his growth has been tremendous over the last few months. It all breaks down as everyone fights for the Double DQ.
**

Post match, a massive brawl breaks out and the faces get the best of it.

Interviews-
-Randy is reaching back and grabbing Jimmy from the sky in Boston in that cage because he's got the mega powers behind him.
-He predicts he will leave with the IC title and the women's title once Sheri tries anything with him. YEAH DIG IT DOUBLE CHAMPION IN A TOUGH TOWN LIKE BOSTON

WWF Wrestling Challenge
November 22nd, 1987

Match#1 Strike Force vs Barry Horowitz & Terry Gibbs
Fuck yeah, man. 3 minutes for the champs so it's pretty much perfect between the smooth as butter offence, and the selling and bumps when needed. HF have a cut in saying they have picked them out for SVS as the way to get their belts back. Tito has another nutty hot tag as he lights them up as only he can, and Barry breaks his body bumping like a mad man. Gibbs is beaten by the Crab.
**

Match#2 One Man Gang w/Slick vs Carmine Surace
Little Carmine became a wrestler, a very allegorical thing. Great stuff from the big man as always for a little over a minute or so. Don has a cut in saying he's going them what real power and survival looks like. Gordbuster ends it.

BUY THE WWF MAGAZINE TO SEE RANDY ON THE FRONT.

Match#3 Demolition w/Mr Fuji vs Pete Lusik & Omar Atlas
YAH. The monsters get 3 minutes as well and club the ever loving dog shit out of these poor saps. So many nasty moments as Demo seem to be hitting even harder and meaner as a point to prove, and it's making for the best squashes on TV for WWF. They take a head off to win.
**

They replay Hogan and his teams interview from a few weeks ago.

Match#4 Bam Bam Bigelow w/Oliver Humperdink vs Jose Estrada

Match#5 Nikolai Volkoff & Boris Zhukov w/ Slick vs Lanny Poffo & Van Van Horne
Hey, can someone please kill me????? Dogshit stuff for a couple of very painful minutes as they suck in every aspect of the game we love. Running headbutt ends it.
POOP

Match#6 Danny Davis w/Jimmy Hart vs Brutus Beefcake

Brutus eats this idiot up for 3 minutes and gives him NO offence, and it's funny as hell because fuck Davis and this horrible gimmick. Brutus cuts off Jimmy and throws him into Davis, and beats the dork with a roll up.

Fantastic mat work to start between Martel and Bret as they go hold for hold and limb for limb in an effort to gain control. Rick is faster and pisses Bret off, and Gorilla actually points out that Bret is someone who will lose his cool if he can't get the match the way he wants. Tito and Anvil go at it after Bret stomps off, and we get a fun fight of power vs speed with neither man backing off an inch. SF keep it up and dominate the champs at every turn, and its such a different but amazing piece of work after the series with the Islanders. Anvil finally says fuck it, and punches Tito in the guts to take over and goes for his eyes, and HF kick the shit out of them with a killer control seg now that they have both have control, and they're rightly pissed off. Lots of great cut offs of course, including Bret dragging Tito back across the mat by the tights like the Islanders did. Love that SO much. Martel finally gets in and lights them up for a minute or so, but Anvil chucks him to the concrete and then into the rail to mess him up, and now they go to work on him with an even better control seg as Martel is the best dude in the company and dies a wonderful death. Anvil really clobbers him in the head over and over, and Bret is Bret, so yeah the coolest stuff possible. Martel fights out with punches right to the face and finally tags in Tito, and the big man goes insane as he throws Bret to the floor and kills Anvil with a Forearm. Bret saves and it all breaks down, and they beat the fucking hell out of one another. Jimmy throws the maegaphone in and Bret kills Martel with it, but the ref sees it for once and DQ's them.
***

Post match, HF snap and beat the shit out of them, BUT TITO GETS THE BELT AND SMACKS BRET IN THE HEAD AND RUNS THEM OFF. FUCK YEAH.

WWF SURVIVOR SERIES
NOVEMBER 26TH, 1987
RICHFIELD COLISEUM
RICHFIELD, OHIO

Fink introduces Jesse and Gorilla to start the show, and they walk out to the booth to a massive reaction. Gorilla welcomes everyone to the show.

We get out first PPV into video with some stock music playing over it, but it's still cool as hell.

At the booth, Gorilla covers the rules of the matches and runs down the card. Jesse turns it to Andre getting his revenge after WrestleMania 3.

In the back, Craig is with Honky Tonk Man's team. Honky says this is the greatest team ever assembled, and they have a brand new tune to play. He says everyone will get knocked down one by one, until they get to the Macho Man, 5 on 1. He says he is the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time, and if Elizabeth gets in the ring, he'll give her the Shake, Rattle, and Roll, and leave her laying just like her old man. HOLY SHIT.

In the back, Gene talks to Team Savage. Ricky says they all have grudges to settle, and that's why they're here. Duggan says the king will fall, and there will be a survivor. TOUGH GUY! HOOOOOOO! Savage says he remembers how Honky hurt Elizabeth and embarrassed her, and it's gonna be a bad time in the danger zone for him, yeah.

macho-man-survivor-series-team.jpg

Each match has all the managers at ringside and it's elimination rules, so i won't bother to write it all down to save space.

Match#1 Honky Tonk Man, Hercules, Harley Race, Danny Davis & Ron Bass vs Randy Savage, Jake Roberts, Ricky Steamboat, Jim Duggan & Brutus Beefcake
Jesse says the captains will decide who goes first, which is something i didn't know. Beefer and Herc are the first two in the history of the match, so write that fact down. Its awful as hell as Herc is so bad, and Beef is Beef no matter how hard he tries. The faces control for the first few minutes and it's really fun as the heel team is super easy to hate, so them eating shit is good. RACE AND STEAMER FIGHT AND MY GOODNESS IS IT GREAT. They beat the snot out of each other, and Race breaks out a gross belly to belly, but Ricky gets free and tags in Hacksaw, They run right at each other and fall to the floor and both are counted as they punch each other in the face, and we have our first ever eliminations. Bass tries his hand and looks good, but the faces overwhelm after Randy gets in and goes wild on him. Bass fires off a lariat and HTM gets in for that great fight for 20 seconds. Bass gets back in, and Randy sells his ass off as Bass nukes him, but Beef blind tags in and beats Bass with his running knee. Brutus is now isolated by the heels, and has his stupid face kicked in for a while. Brutus fights back but he stupidly doesn't tag out despite having a clear path, and Davis trips him and HTM hits the SSR to get rid of him. Herc starts using his power on Savage and isolates him when he tries to fix Brutus' fuck up, and the heels get a ton of shots in on Savage. He gets free and tags Jake in for a great hot tag as he's all healthy and fired up, but he eats a knee from HTM and is also isolated. Good shit from HTM leading the control, and the other two heels do fine enough offence when called upon. That nerd Davis messes with Jake for too long, and he eats the DDT and is finally gone after adding nothing. Herc runs in and takes Jakes head off with a lariat to make sure he can't get out, and its a really smart play to the entire thing. Randy tries to get in, but it makes it worse for Jake as the heels beat his head in. HTM again does the work to keep it fun, and Jake really ramps up his selling. The crowd gets hotter and hotter as Jake slowly fights more and more and gets free and tags Ricky in. He is on a new level of fired up and he eats Herc for lunch with all dat fire. He knocks Herc out with the elbow to the head, and then Randy gets in and hits his elbow to the heart to beat the big man. HTM is all alone and tries to fight the numbers, but he's a true coward as his core and runs away after getting his ass kicked, and is counted out to give the faces the win.
**3/4

In the back, Craig is with Andre and his team. Bobby says Andre tasted victory at Mania when he pinned Hogan's shoulders to the mat, and it's going to happen again. Andre says he did it once, and he's going to do it again. Slick says these gentlemen will be a group of sadistic animals. Andre says he's here for Hogan's soul and he will be the survivor.

Match#2 Sensational Sherri, Lelani Kai, Judy Martin, Dawn Marie & Donna Christanello vs. The Fabulous Moolah, Rockin Robin, Velvet McIntyre & The Jumping Bomb Angels
Robin is Jake's half sister. Really awesome to the see the ladies get a big PPV match, but the issue is none of them aside from Sherri and the cunt are ever on TV, so the crowd is sadly dead, Also doesn't help that there's really rough moments and bad botches, along with sandbagging from the vile cunt. Sherri, the angels and the tag champs hold it together and get reactions doing cool shit like rana's and tiger bombs, which blows Gorilla and Jesse's minds. Donna and Dawn are pinned quick to give the heels the numbers. The faces rally and get rid of Robin and the cunt, and then Sherri is pinned by Velvet for the massive upset. The Angels work together and get rid of everyone else to win.
3/4*

In the back, Craig is with the team of heel tag teams. Bobby Heenan says it will be a piece of cake, and nobody has ever been more ready.

In the back, Gene is with the face teams. Tito gives the classic babyface speech and hypes his boys up. The best part is DK being pals with the Rougeau's.

Match#3 Strike Force, The Rougeau Brothers, The British Bulldogs, The Young Stallions & The Killer Bees vs. The Hart Foundation, The Islanders, Demolition, The New Dream Team & The Bolsheviks
Along with all the managers, there's a million people out there, and it makes for an incredible sight. The Russians stink up the joint as soon as the bell rings, BUT TITO THANKFULLY KNOCKS BORIS OUT WITH THE FOREARM TO GET RID OF THEM, HAHHAHAHAHAH. Demo get in now and club Tito right away, and it's beyond perfect and cool. All the other teams get time in the rings, and its 90/10 split on fantastic and truly awful given who is in at any one time. Islanders/Dogs fight and beat the shit out of each other with super hard shots to the face, and we need a match. Demo and Islanders lead the charge for the heels and isolate Roma with a great ass kicking sending his rat body all over the place. Jaques tags in and goes for a crossbody, BUT AX DUCKS AND MAKES A QUICK PIN TO GET RID OF THE BROTHERS IN A BIG MOMENT. Powers gets in and is also quickly isolated and beaten to shit by the heels, and it's tremendous stuff as all the good heels take him to pieces, and the bad ones don't do much. DK makes the tag and is also smacked around by Ax after a knee to the head, AND AX WON'T STOP ATTACKING HIM AND THROWS THE REF ACROSS THE RING FOR THE DQ. Bret runs right in and kills DK with a piledriver and debuts the amazing uppercuts to the jaw, and its so awesome. The champs gets back in and Martel is somehow even cooler and smoother on a PPV as he fights Tama and Anvil. Tito gets in and knocks Anvil out with the Forearm, but Bret saves with an elbow to the back of the head and that's enough for Anvil to pin him. Oh shit. Powers is isolated agains because he sucks, and Hammer finally gets to be Hammer again with the knees and elbows, and it's a reminder he's still the man and he deserves better. It all breaks down, and the Bees finally get in after 20 minutes and do nothing of note. HF and the Dogs get play now and it's a ton of cool power and mat work like always. HAKU GETS IN ON THE BLIND TAG AND HITS DK WITH A SUPERKICK AND BEATS HIM. Wait, why the fuck are the Bees and Stallions left????? The two good teams left do their best to make it work along with Hammer, and it's mostly fine. Roma blind tags in and hits a sweet Sunset Flip on on Hammer to pin him.The Bees do basic stuff and the crowd actually boos them at points, which is not good at all. The heels isolate Roma for the 5th time and it's good, but they play with their food for too long, and he tags Jumping Jim in. More fine ass basics for the next few minutes, and it's not making for a great match at all. BRET GOES TO SLAM JIM, AND HAKU GETS IN AND HELPS WITH A DROPKICK TO JIM'S BACK, BUT THE BEE ROLLS THROUGH AND PINS HART. NOOOOO WHAT THE FUCK???? The Islanders now have to fight the odds, and do their best to carry these dweebs with their killer offence and really show why they've been the best team all year They batter Jim's stupid life for a while, and he sucks shit at making anyone care, the work itself makes up for it. Powers has a fine hot tag and sends them flying before it breaks down once more, and the Islanders are thanked for their amazing work by getting beaten with a shitty roll up by a masked Bee. Jesse actually shouts "THIS IS A LOAD OF CRAP" to end it.
**

Easily the most disappointing and heartbreaking match all year. Even in a white hot company, you'll still find awful things like this. Long live, The Islanders.

They show footage of Ted being evil.

We go to the stage, where HTM and Jimmy are standing by.
-Craig says this a night of making a name for yourself, but this won't be one HTM wants to remember.
-HTM shouts it was 3 on 1 and he was not beaten. Line them all up and he's going to knock them all down one by one.
-He demands Hogan stop being scared of him and put the title on the line, because he's the greatest and the title is coming to him.
-He says he's done with Randy and he never wants to see or hear him again.

The heels make their way out, and Bobby does the big intro for Andre.

In the back, Hogan hypes his boys up and screams they're all hungry and wild, Jack Brother.

Match#4 Hulk Hogan, Don Muraco, Paul Orndorff, Ken Patera & Bam Bam Bigelow vs Andre The Giant, King Kong Bundy, One Man Gang & Rick Rude
Rude and Don have a sweaty cocaine fight with punches and elbows, and that's what pro wrestling is all about. Wonderful runs in and cracks Rude as well, and it rules. All the faces beat his ass, and it's the coolest and funnest thing we've gotten in an hour and a half. Butch makes the save, but he gets eaten alive as well and is shockingly beaten by Hogan's boot and legdrop in about 3 minutes. ANDRE GETS IN AND STANDS THERE AS HOGAN CHEERS AND LOOKS LIKE A KILLER. Sadly, Ken tags in to save Hogan's life, and Andre is mad as he shouts for Hogan to be a man and fight him. ANDRE WALKS OFF ON KEN AND TAGS BUNDY IN. HAHAHAHA AMAZING. Everyone else gets time and it's good as they're all fired up throwing great shots, and the crowd is insane for all of it. Ken gets a ton of shots in on OMG and looks the best he has ever in this run, and the big man's wobbly selling is really cool. The heels hit Ken from behind and OMG beats his ass for a couple of minutes and hits a proto STO to beat him. Hogan gets in now and drops OMG, and then helps Bammer beat him up more. They have a sick fat man fight and smash and bash each other. Wonderful and Rude now fight and Wonderful gets the best of him, but Bundy hits him from behind and Rude gets a cradle to pin him in a big shocker. Hogan and Don mow Rude down, and Don hits a powrslam to beat Rude to even it back up. Don fights Bundy and attacks his knee, and then he fights OMG as well. He fails at slamming him and OMG falls on top to crush him, and then OMG throws Don into an Andre headbutt and hits a slam to beat him. Goddamn. BBB tries to fight OMG, but the bigger man hits a fucking Avalanche to crush his chest, AND BUNDY GETS IN AND TAKES BAMMER'S HEAD OFF WITH A GROSS LARIAT RIGHT TO THE JAW. FUCK YEAH. They tag in and out as they attack the ribs, and Bammer's selling of his now crushed chest is perfect as he's crumpled over and can't stand straight or do much of anything. They drop him with knees and kicks to it, and Bam is near death in an all time sell job. Andre finally gets in and holds BBB for a lariat,BUT BAM DUCKS AND TAGS IN HOGAN. HE GETS IN AND FIGHTS HIM. HE CHOPS HIM IN THE CORNER AND BEATS THE SHIT OUT OF HIM, AND THEN TAKES OUT OMG AND BUNDY. HE GOES FOR THE LARIAT, BUT BUNDY PULLS HIM OUT AND FIGHTS HIM ON THE FLOOR, AND HOGAN FIGHTS HIM OFF AND SLAMS OMG, BUT THE REF COUNTS HIM OUT. OH FUCK. HOGAN SLAMS BUNDY AS WELL, BUT THE REF FINALLY TELLS HIM HE'S GONE. Hogan refuses to leave, so the ref tells Fink if he doesn't he's going to DQ Bam, so Hogan finally fucks off. Bam comes back to life and takes it to Bundy with headbutts and fat man shots. BBB ducks the Avalanche and hits the Slingshot to beat Bundy. OMG attacks from behind and attacks the injured ribs and looks to have it done, but he misses a top rope splash and Bammer gets his arm over to beat him. Andre gets in and drills Bam with a headbutt to the fucking jaw and slowly stalks him as Bam tries to use his speed to live, but Andre keeps his cool and hits a Hiptoss to beat him. FUCK YEAH ANDRE DID IT
***

Post match, that selfish bitch Hogan runs down and hits Andre over and over with the title and knocks him out of the ring. Oh no, i now hate Hogan far sooner than i thought i would. Thankfully, Andre laughs it off and walks off with a super happy Heenan, and Hogan is left standing there like a jackass.

Hogan poses as Jesse and Gorilla argue about how they love and hate him.

In the back, Gene is with Bobby and Andre. Bobby says Hogan hid in the back like a coward and attacked when Andre had his back turned. If he wants Andre, all he has to do is sign the contract. Andre says he wants the match for the title because Hogan can't beat him, and Bobby shouts that NO ONE can beat him.

Back in the ring, Hogan is still posing. Jesse calls him a loser and says Andre is the survivor. Gorilla claims that he's the real winner, but Jesse again calls him an idiot and says he's leaving.

Tonight; Beefcake vs Hammer.

In the back, Jesse is standing by with Valentine. Jesse says he's facing a mid career problem and it's time to make a change. Hammer says he's more excited than any of the titles he held before, AND HE KNOCKS ON THE DOOR AND JIMMY HART WALKS OUT. WOOOO THEY'RE BACK TOGETHER.

Match#1 Greg Valentine w/Jimmy Hart vs Brutus Beefcake
Hammer attacks as soon as he can with elbows and punches, and Brutus fires back for a great pissed off battle between the two former friends. Neither man can hold control, so we get a fun back and forth instead, and that's cool with me. They keep smacking the shit out of each other to the point the ref is knocked down by both. Beefer gets the sleeper on, but the ref is dead. Jimmy tries to attack, but Brutus catches him and throws him to the floor. Hammer hits a knee to the back and locks in the Figure Four and holds it for a few minutes as Beefer's knee is wreaked. The ref wakes up and DQ's them both.
**1/2

Post match, a ton of refs run out and drag Hammer off of him. Jimmy gets Hammer out of there as Brutus screams in pain on the mat. Brutus is carried out by a ref as he can't walk.

Stage Interview-
-DiBiase & Virgil are the guests.
-Ted says he thinks the fans are now starting to believe that everyone of them has a price for the million dollar man. Week after week he's show them from kids with basketballs and doing pushups to women barking like dogs and kissing his feet for some of his money. Hell, he bought the producer of the network.
-Everyone has a price and when he says everyone he means every man, woman and child in this arena. Everybody is at home watching him on TV.
-You know who else is everyone?? EVERYONE IS HULK HOGAN.
-Craig freaks out and demands to know what he means, and Ted says everyone has a price and he's going to prove it by buying the WWF World Championship.
-HOLY SHIT AMAZING.

Match#2 Koko B Ware & The Young Stallions vs Terry Gibbs, Dusty Wolfe, & Barry Horowitz
Awesome to see Koko back on TV even with these mopes and dopes. Jesse doesn't think Hogan can be bought, but he's sure that everyone has a price. Good 2 minutes of wrestling as YS do fine ass basics and whatnot, and Koko is an insane house of fire that smokes everyone. Koko wins with the Ghostbuster
*3/4

Craig Interviews-
-Craig hypes up the next Boston show.
-Jimmy walks on and talks about being stuck in the cage, and nothing new or interesting is said.
-HTM walks on with Sherri in a blonde wig, and he says this the famous Peggy Sue.
-She says hi and that she loves Sherri.

Match#3 Harley Race w/Bobby Heenan vs Scott Casey
Bobby has a cut in saying he has no responsibility for what Race did to Duggan, nor will take any for what Hercules is going to do to BBB on SNME. Short squash for Race as it's under a minute and whatever. Piledriver ends it.
1/2*

Mean Gene-
-Hacksaw says he might have bad eyes but he's not looking at Peggy Sue. He is however looking for DiBase, TOUGH GUY HOOOOOOOOO
-Bam Bam is wrestling Bundy and he's going to bounce him like a basketball.

Match#4 Jake Roberts vs Rick Renslow
Jake finally gets the sweet spot of 2 minutes and change to do his thing, and the world is better for it. Awesome punches and short arms in between throwing the big old jobber around the ring. DDT ends it.
**

Post match, the jobber meets Damien.

Watch the Slammy's

Match#5 Don Muraco vs Brian Costello
Don kills the kid in sick form and wins with the tombstone in maybe 45 seconds.
1/2*

In the trainers room, Brutus screams like a mad man about how much he hates Hammer. He will get revenge.

Match#6 Hart Foundation w/Jimmy Hart vs Lanny Poffo & Jerry Allen
Hell yeah. Great work for two minutes for the fellas as they batter and kick the tar out of these dorks. Bret ties one them upside down and beats his leg to shit, and then Anvil squashes it to make it worse. Hart Attack ends it.
**

Mean Gene-
-Butch and Slick laugh about what they did to SBG, and promise that Don is next.

WWF SATURDAY NIGHTS MAIN EVENT
NOVEMBER 28TH, 1987
SEATTLE, WA
SEATTLE CENTER COLISEUM

-
They play the Twilight Zone them as Randy's head is super imposed over the famous screen. He shouts that you have now entered the Danger Zone, east of Saturn, west of Jupiter south of Mars AND NORTH OF HELL YEAH. On the last episode you saw HF and HTM conspired to try and hurt his manger and those deeds have lead him to make a vow VENGEANCE IS MINE, SAYETH THE MACHO MAN RANDY SAVAGE! BRET HART YOU WILL BURN
-Bobby Heenan says to call your friends, and he has a big surprise. Bundamania lives, and Hulkamania is dead
-Hulk Hogan says that's cheap talk, man, because Hulkamania is the strongest force in the universe, brother.

Vince and Jesse are on the call. They hype the show and it's maybe the most underrrated duo in all of the WWF/E's commentary history.

Mean Gene-
-George Steele is playing with a Liz doll and says Danny a lot.

In the back, Jesse talks to Davis. He demands that Steele be banned for what he did to him, and he's going to ring his bell like he did last time.

Match#1 George Steele vs Danny Davis w/Jimmy Hart
Thankfully only 3 minutes and not 10. Davis makes a goof of himself as Steele eats buckles and chases after him a lot, Davis attacks the ref and runs for it and gets DQ.
1/4*

Mean Gene-
-Bret says practice makes perfect.
-Jimmy says they're here to finish what they started, and Liz is the daughter of the devil and his men did the right thing.
-Randy is lucky that HTM doesn't play the piano.

Mean Gene-
-Randy says he's never been this hungry before. He will not rest until he gets those cowards and makes them pay for what they did. Vengeance is mine.
-He's in the danger zone and he's never been more ready. Elizabeth down that aisle.

Match#2 Randy Savage w/Miss Elizabeth vs Bret Hart w/Jimmy Hart & Jim Neidhart
Randy snaps right away as he jumps Bret on the floor and rams him into the post face first. He stays on him and gives us another amazing crazed beating as he batters the shit out of him. Bret is able to get moments of offence as he attacks the neck with those sick elbow drops and knees, but Randy won't die and shoves him rib first into the guard rail for a gross landing. Jimmy and Anvil get involved so Randy takes them out, AND HE GOES FOR THE AXE HANDLE ON BRET, BUT HART GET THE MEGAPHONE UP AND SMACKS RANDY IN THE RIBS. Anvil kicks him as well, and now Bret goes to work with a tremendous control seg. He's super focused on the body as he executes his plan slowly and precisely beating the hell out of it. Randy's selling is incredible as Bret beats him worse and worse. Savage manages to duck and Bret crashes into the post, so Randy quickly throws him into another one and hurts the shoulder. Both men are now badly hurt, and mess up big chances as a result. Randy drops him throat first onto the ropes and looks to have it back, BUT HE RUNS AT BRET AND HE GETS BACKDROPPED TO THE FLOOR AND LANDS ON HIS ANKLE. He's fucked as he's screaming in pain and grabbing at it, and Liz unties the boot to try and help. Bret stalks them, and the ref gets everyone back. We come back to Randy getting back in the ring as his leg is dead, and Bret demands he's named the winner. Randy stands up and dares him to fight, and Bret runs at him and attacks the ankle. He stomps on it and smashes it into the post and then drops his knee onto it. He bends it to a sick degree and looks to have him dead, but Randy kicks him off into the post to save himself again. He's on one leg, so Bret is able to get back to it and stomps and bends it some more, and Randy's selling is goddamn tremendous as he's now got no shoe on and is screaming and grabbing at it whenever he can. BRET GOES FOR A SLAM BUT RANDY HOLDS ON AND TURNS INTO A PIN TO PULL THE WIN OUT OF NOWHERE.
****

Post match, Jimmy tries to attack, but Randy ducks and Bret eats the megaphone. Randy chases them off on one foot. He tries to walk out but he collapses in pain and needs to be helped.

Mean Gene-
-Bobby says Hulkamania will finally die and Bundymania will live in its place. He promises he's a huge surprise for Hogan.

They walk out to the ring and the surprise is of course Andre.

Match#3 Hulk Hogan (c) vs King Kong Bundy w/Bobby Heenan & Andre The Giant (WWF World Championship)
You know the score, Hogan attacks and tries to slam him and Bundy falls on him and crushes him dead. Bundy works on the body with his cool fat man clubbing for a while, and Hogan sells his ass off as always. Hogan comes back and does his thing, so Andre trips him and sends him on his face. Andre goes to kill him, but the ref demand he leaves. Andre refuses, so Bobby and Bundy get involved and make him go peacefully. Andre is pissed and throws a bunch of camera men to the floor until he finally leaves. Bundy attacks Hogan as he's distracted by Andre, and he does more of his thing and it's perfectly fine. He breaks out the Avalanche and crushes him with Tremors, but Hogan makes his comeback like an asshole. Thankfully, Bobby grabs Hogan's leg, so he chases after him and gets beaten by countout.
*1/2

Hogan fights off Bundy, and then brings Heenan in. He holds him up by the throat and shakes him around before throwing him down. Hogan then poses. Heenan is then helped to the back.

In the back, Gene interviews Herc. He says some stuff.

Match #4: Bam Bam Bigelow w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink vs. Hercules
Solid BBB showcase. A little too long in 7 minutes, since that meant that Herc had to actually do offense. Bam Bam wins with the Slingshot Splash.
*3/4

In the back, Gene is with Bundy and Andre. Bundy says he wants a rematch with Hogan, and he wants Andre the Giant in his corner, so that he can make him pay for re-injuring Bobby Heenan's bad neck.

In the back, Gene interview Hogan. He says that was a shallow victory, man. He says he wants the rematch to settle the score, and he invites Andre the Giant to stand in his corner, because he'll give him the same dose of Hulkamania that he did at WrestleMania, and that he gave to Bobby Heenan, dude.

Match#1 The British Bulldogs vs The Conquistadors

Bobby hates Matilda as she's rabid, so that's important. The Dogs get 5 minutes in some classic B show nonsense, so we get some good selling and bumps before they take over and kick the shit out of these masked fellas. Too long at the end, but fine enough. Powerslam does it.
*3/4

Watch the Slammy's

Match#2 Ted DiBiase w/Virgil vs Sonny Rodgers
Awesome 90 seconds of Ted throwing those great punches and elbows again, and Rodgers eating everyone them super hard. Ted wins with the Back Elbow off the top.
*3/4

Mean Gene-
-Bass says he named her Betsy after those fat and scary women that beat weak loser up. Like, the woman that Gene is married to.
-He calls Dragon a yellow coward that wouldn't fight him if he had the chance, but Betsy is ready to fight this so called goody-goody and wants a piece of his hide.

They recap Hacksaw/Race.

Match#2 Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Barry Horowitz
Hacksaw gets 2 minutes to do his thing with super hard short and funny moments as he's a weird guy. Barry takes a great beating like always, and really helps Hack out. Duggan has a cut in telling Bobby to stay out of his business. 3 Point does it
*3/4

Mean Gene-
-Dino Bravo thinks 1988 will be his year and he wants to face the best and climb the ladder to Hulk Hogan

Match#3 Killer Khan w/Mr Fuji vs Mike Richards
Oh, he's still here to make sure we don't escape bad stuff. Awful and boring offence as he's done caring at all, and does it all at the slowest pace possible. Knee ends it.
1/2*

Stage Interview-
-Slick promotes his song for the slammy awards and tells everyone to vote.
-Reed says he feels so good to end SBG that it tingles in his toes all the way to his head. He feels so good he wants to do it again.
-Muraco stuck his fat nose in his business and he's getting the same. He's nothing but a fat sandwich.

Match#4 The Ultimate Warrior vs Brian Costello
Warrior still isn't running down to the ring a million miles and hour, nor wrestling at the pace. Still, good offence as takes the kid apart with fine basics and the like. Press Slam does it.
*

Match#5 Ken Patera & Billy Jack Haynes vs Dave Wagner & Rick Renslow
Demo have a cut in saying these two are a headache but they have the cure for it. Nothing squash as both dudes suck tonight doing bad power stuff and botching on top of it, so fuck em. Full Nelson ends it.

WWF SPECTRUM-5/12

Hulk Hogan (c) vs One Man Gang w/Sick (WWF World Championship)
Once again, they meet and it's good. Hogan needs more giants to play with and thankfully 88 will provide one of the best ever, but in this meantime this is fun shit. They have the same opening minutes as always, and OMG's first control seg is full of fat man clubs and crushing Hogan's body, and the champ sells his ass off big time until he comes back and pinballs the big man with punches to the skull. Slick distracts to allow OMG to take back over, and he works a nerve hold for a while and wreaks the neck, and we get some cool Hogan selling as he shakes in pain on the mat. Hogan makes his sick comeback and wins with the Legdrop after the big slam.
**1/2

Post match, Hogan beats up Slick and steals his hat. He poses and does his thing, BUT ANDRE WALKS OUT AND STARES HIM DOWN FROM THE AISLE WAY. YESSSSSSSSSS. Hogan freaks out and dares him to get in, but Andre walks off to the back.

Strike Force (c) vs The Islanders (WWF World Tag Team Championships)
HERE WE GO AGAIN AS THEY FIGHT BEFORE THE BELL AND IT'S THE BEST AND COOLEST AS IT ALWAYS IS. Lots of fast paced and wild action to try and take control, and we get Tama being dropkicked to the floor where he smacks his arm off a chair. SF work on him for a while with double teams, but Haku pulls Martel back by the tights into the corner and tags in and starts kicking his ass with knees and elbows. Martel eventually gets free and tags in Tito, and they work together to target the big man's knee with more awesome stuff like the wishbone. Tama gets in and punches Tito in the back of the head to knock him out, and the Islanders take over and we get a good control seg with good work on the head and neck, but nowhere near as manic as it normally is as it's slow and methodical. Still, rocks no matte what. Martel finally get in and smokes them before it all breaks down.Tito is being set up for the Double Headbutt, but Martel tags himself in a little before it. They miss it, and Tito hits Tama with the Flying Forearm as Martel hits Haku with a Sunset Flip for the win!

Bam Bam Bigelow w/Andre The Giant vs Bam Bam Bigelow w/Oliver Humperdink

5 minute sick monster battle as they throw their bodies into each as hard as they can, and it's the stuff we live for. Bammer uses his speed along with the fat to smack the shit out of Bundy, but the big man catches him with a gross lariat and knee and beats him down in a short but sweet control seg. BUNDY THROWS HIM TO THE FLOOR WITH ONE HAND AND BAMMER SPLATS ON THE CONCRETE. Bammer tries to come back, but Andre attacks him on the floor and hits him with a headbutt. Hogan runs down to stand in his corner and cheers him on. Bammer comes back to life and hits a running headbutt to pull the win out of nowhere.

We open the show with footage of Hogan attacking Bobby on SNME.

Match#1 Strike Force vs The Conquistadors
Sweet showcase for our boys against some big old jobbers. I assume it's Sharpe and Gibbs under the masks, but i'm not 100% sure. Still, really awesome stuff as they're beyond smooth and hit everything perfectly. Boston Crab does the deed.

Stage Interview-
-Hammer and Jimmy are the guests.
-Greg says he wants Brutus to be banned for carrying a dangerous weapon to the ring, and he will never understand the fans having a love affair with Brutus.
-They should be respecting him as the man who taught him everything and gave him the tag titles, and he knows he's a blackheart and a cheat, and he's going to rip his leg off and put it around his neck.
-Craig says Brutus has swore revenge, and Hammer laughs and says he doesn't have the killer instinct.

Match#2 Ted DiBase w/Virgil vs Omar Atlas
Ted gets 2 minutes and kills it again with the great offence. He has a cut in saying he bought the cover of the latest WWF magazine, and next is the world title. Omar tries to fight back, and Ted gets mad and smashes his head super hard into the buckles to show not to do that. Back Elbow ends it.

Watch the Slammy's.

Match#3 Bam Bam Bigelow w/Oliver Humperdink vs Dave Wagner
Short one for Bammer at a little over a minute, but good enough stuff. Slingshot ends it.

Mean Gene-
-Jake says Sika is an animal and the type of nasty one you need to set a trap for. He's going to make sure his jaw is shut tight, you know what i mean man.
-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Hacksaw is ready to beat up a fancy stupid king in Boston.
-Danny Davis says Houston was lucky, and that will never happen again.

Dino Bravo comes out for his match with the debuting Frenchy Martin as his new manager.

Match#4 Dino Bravo w/Frenchy Martin vs Sivi Afi
Short and awful stuff from this geek. Suck we're stuck with him until 91 because he's one of the worst dudes ever to do it. He will with his terrible Side Slam.

WWF Update-
-Craig covers Ted DiBiase saying he's going to buy the title, and says Tunney is now going to answer to it.
-Jack says no one has ever tried this before, and he doesn't know if Hogan is going to respond. He also needs to check the by-laws to see if this is allowed.

Match#5 British Bulldogs vs Barry Horowitz & Steve Lombardi
Yes, the super jobbers are here to get murdered by the Dogs. Sick bumps throughout as the Dogs smack and toss them around without a care in the world, and it's the best squash they've given us since they got back. Barry is taken out by the running Powerslam, AND THEN DAVEY HITS A BACKDROP OFF THE TOP TO SEND HIM RIGHT ON HIS HEAD. JESUS.

They air a video about SBG's comeback. GENE SAYS HE HAS RETIRED. YES THANK YOU GOD.

Match#6 Butch Reed w/Slick vs Outback Jack
Jack is now a jobber and gets his ass handed to him for being the worst. Killer Butch offence for 2 minutes as he runs right through him like he's nothing. Don has a cut in saying his mind is full of hate and he's going to take him and make him quake. Flying Shoulderblock ends the fun.
