WWF Wrestling Challenge
August 23rd, 1987
LaCrosse, WI

We see footage of DiBiase throwing money to the fans and making them fight over it.

Ted is in the ring for his match when he grabs the mic and talks about how filthy rich he is, and all he sees is poor people and he has everything they want to have. He's a much better man than all of them. He pulls out a wad of cash and calls it pocket change, and Virgil says it's 5 grand. He says he's hired someone to do the sweating for him as he's a main event wrestler and not waste his time on a preliminary punk. He brings in another jobber to take his place and Virgil pays him off. AMAZING.

Match#1 Chris Curtis vs Mr. Washington
60 seconds of jobbers fighting for a buck in maybe the most evil thing we've seen. TED'S JOBBER LOSES TO A BACKBREAKER. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA
Everyone has a price

Ted and Virgil get in the ring and take the money back from the jobber's tights, and Ted slaps and beats the shit out of him.

WWF UPDATE-
-Craig recaps the debut of Strike Force.

Match#2 Junkyard Dog vs Rick Renslow
JYD is allowed to have 2 minute despite being fat and all kinds of washed, and i don't get it. Really awful and lazy from him throughout and THUMP does it. Highlight is Bobby being incredibly upset at Tito for getting involved with a loser like Martel.
1/2*

Mean Gene-
-Rick Rude is our guest.
-Rick talks about his body and says its the best in the world, and everyone needs to listen to Heenan.
-Gene brings up all the things Bobby promised and never lived up to, and Rick says he's been promised a lot and he'll come through.
-He's coming for titles and money.

Match#3 The New Dream Team w/Johnny V vs Silvi Afi & Jim Evans
You know the score by now because you're all smart and amazing readers. Figure Four ends it after terrible Bravo work.
1/2*

Mean Gene-
-Koko sings his song Piledriver and it's amazing.
-He and Gene sing and dance once more and it's the best.

Match#4 Randy Savage w/Miss Elizabeth vs Scott Casey
The fans really love him again, and now Bobby talks some smack about him letting Liz walk in front of him and being a bad IC champion. Savage gets attacked to start and takes some fun bumps before he snaps and kills Casey for it. Randy breaks all the sick offence out and is really brutal as he does it. He hits the Axe Handle on the outside to kill him, and then hits another stunning Elbow to win.
**

Stage Interview-
-Jimmy Hart is the guest and he talks about cranking up the volume when you listen to music and when you fight, and Davis does just that.
-Danny comes on and Jimmy praises him and whatnot, and it's truly lame.

Match#5 Brutus Beefcake vs Tom Stone
Short and not much from Bruti as this show comes to a halt, sadly. Sleeper ends it.
1/2*

Post match, Brutus does his thing and cuts the kids hair and shows it in a mirror.

We get a cool Jake Roberts music video.

Match#6 Demolition w/Mr Fuji vs Pete Sanchez & Omar Atlas
90 sick seconds of clubbering and smashing from the boys as they get cooler and better as the weeks go on. They have a cut in saying their new theme is on the album. YESSSSSSS. One of the jobbers loses his head for the loss.

WWF Sam Houston Coliseum-28/8

WWF Makes their way into a stronghold to show them whose the new boss, so lets watch a couple of matches

Hulk Hogan (c) vs One Man Gang w/Slick (WWF World Championship)
Hogan is finally back on live events after a few weeks away and it's time for a goddamn monster battle. OMG doesn't back down at all and shoves Hogan around and really gets the best of him to start. They do the Andre thing where Hogan tries to slam him and OMG falls on top to fuck him up, and he goes to work on the back with some cool clubs and fat man offence. Hogan comes back in classic form and ties him in the ropes and kicks his big ass. Slick distracts him though, and OMG is able to regain control with a nerve hold. OMG beats him down and starts breaking out body slams and hurts him badly, but he can't finish him. Hogan fights back and does his thing and slams him and then wins with the Legdrop
**1/2

Post match, Hogan hurls Slick to the floor like a real dick.

Ted DiBiase w/Virgil vs Hacksaw Jim Duggan
Hey, wasn't that guy fired?? Well, he's back and this is the match that wins him his job back as he's against old friend in their stomping grounds. Hacksaw pinballs him all over the place for the classic stuff, and Ted shows what a great bumper and all around stooge he is. He can't get a thing going as Hack catches him at every turn and bounces him around, and it's a ton of fun watching Ted eat nothing but shit. Hacksaw gases himself out and Ted slips in a knee to the face to take over and beats him down in a good little control seg that gets cut in half by the tape. Hack comes back for more battering and the like, but Ted drops him with a punch and hits a back elbow off the top to win.
**3/4

Tons of fun and very easy to see why Hacksaw got his job back.

WWF Superstars of Wrestling
August 29th, 1987
Madison, WI

TONIGHT; STRIKE FORCE DEBUT.

Match#1 Paul Orndorff w/Oliver Humperdink vs Iron Mike Sharpe
Paul is pretty much cooked because of the arm injury and far better and younger guys coming in, so this is the death knell for him. Still, he's pretty angry and can still hit a dude with his good arm and he punches Mike's head in with it. plus, Mike bumps his ass off and more than holds his own, so it works. Paul wins with the Piledriver.
*3/4

WWF UPDATE-
-Brutus meets with a famous NYC stylist Sal Fodera for some lessons on how to become a better barber.

BATTLE FOR BAM BAM
-Bobby Heenan is told he's out of the race
-Bobby is heartbroken that he lost Paul last week, and now this. He demands to know who is doing this to him.
-Slick is the last manager left...

Match#2 King Harley Race, Hercules, & Rick Rude w/ Bobby Heenan vs Pete Sanchez, Rick Gantner, & Frankie DeFalco
90 seconds of bad Herc offence mixed with the other two looking pretty good, but it's still far too short to get it on the board. Rude wins with the Backbreaker.
3/4*

Mean Gene-
-Humperdink promotes an upcoming NJ show, but we have no footage. So, nah.

We go to a pre-tape with HTM. He says he's the best IC champion ever, and when you think of past ones like Ricky and Tito, you see they're nothing. He says Randy's name and then says he's now the greatest IC champion of all time. OHHHHHHHHH SHIT.

Match#3 Junkyard Dog vs Terry Gibbs
Bad stuff from JYD as always. Davis has a cut in saying he's going to wrap that chain around his neck to show him how it feels. Yuck. Thump ends it.
1/6*

Mean Gene-
-Gene now hypes up the next MSG show. HTM vs Jake. Strike Force on the card. Hogan vs OMG 2
-Hogan walks on and flexes as only he can. The people who own MSG are freaking out because they know it might crumble and tumble when he comes back. NYC is his place and world where he goes. OMG is no different than that sloppy Andre and the others. He beats up biker gangs on the daily, and there's nothing he can do. He's going to twist Slick into a rod and use him to clean OMG's teeth. This is between them Jack, what are going to do when he runs wild on you.
-Hogan getting more and more cocky because he's beaten Andre and thinks there's no one else is really fucking cool, and also hugely dickish and a reason i'm going to get REAL sick of this man very quickly.

Match#4 One Man Gang w/Slick & Nikolai Volkoff vs Jim Millman & Arthur Washington
It's meant to be a tag match, but Slick gets Nik to agree to step aside. OMG murders both these fuckers in amazing form like an early 80's monster handicap squash, and i adore it so much because it's never not cool. OMG hits two Gordbusters and sends the second one on top of the other jobber for the win.
**

Interview Stage-
- Ted Dibiase & Virgil are the guests
-Ted says he let the WWF follow him around to see how he lives his life and he doesn't care how these losers feel about him.
-He pulls out $200 and offers it to someone to come down and kiss Virgil's foot
-You can see fans falling over the rail behind him and security having to help them back over in an amazing moment.
-A dude comes out to the ring and kisses the foot and makes the cash.
-Ted says that was cheap and everyone has a price for the million dollar man.

Match#5 Strike Force vs Steve Lombardi & Tiger Chung Lee
Jesse is confused why they aren't called the "Mex-Can-Connection" and Bruno is very confused by the gag. This fucking rocks as both of them are perfect and compliment each other so well in terms of breaking out cool moves and then having one of them follow up with something even better. Tito sells a bit and it's the best, and then Martel smokes everyone with his tag throwing sweet dropkicks and hitting bodyslams. Tito wins with the Forearm.
**

DONATE MONEY TO THE WWF FUND RAISERS.

Match#6 Demolition w/Mr Fuji vs Scott Casey & Silvi Afi
FUCK YEAH WHAT AN EPISODE. Demo have a cut in saying they love their new song as it's Total Demolition. They beat the piss out of the jobbers with the amazing clubs to the body and face, and each one is super hard and gross as they kill them dead. Ax also breaks out knees to the body to add to the vibe of the thing. Afi loses his skull and Demo take it.
**

Next week, Danny Davis debuts on TV. Ewwwww.

In the back, Slick is suuuuuper happy that he's got Bam Bam just like he told everyone. Next week, the big brother will be by his side.

WWF Wrestling Challenge
August 30th, 1987
LaCrosse, WI

Match#1 Jake Roberts vs Steve Lombardi

Jake gets 4 minutes in a massive ask for him, and it's not amazing as it's too long and he gets lazy and works the arm for a while without doing anything truly cool to it. DDT finally ends it.
3/4*

Post match, Lombardi meets Damien.

WWF UPDATE-
-Strike Force will indeed Strike with Force
-Bobby says they should have quit like Zenk and not test them, now he's going to sick them on to them and they won't make it out.

Match#2 Killer Khan w/Mr Fuji vs Jack Milliman
Good little Khan beating on this fat lumberjack looking dude. He sprays him with the mist and beats him with the knee
*

Mean Gene-
-Jimmy Hart says they have open contracts for both titles and HTM isn't running.
-HTM walks on and talks about wha a fat loser Elvis was, and it's his time now as the best IC champion ever. He names all the former IC champs and says none of them are the greatest, and he beat Ricky like yesterday's newspaper and he's gone for good. Time to party.

They replay Muraco's promo from a couple of weeks ago.

Match#3 Butch Reed w/Slick & Nikolai Volkoff vs Brady Boone
Nik now being a manager is very funny. Sick 3 minutes of Brady doing cool shit to stay alive and then getting decimated by Butch once he's caught. Awesome strikes and power offence from Butch, and Brady's selling is very good. Press Slam does it.
**

Mean Gene-
-BJH talks about all the hard sports he's done and how wrestling is the toughest of them all.
-Hercules attacked his knee and put him out for a few weeks, and he's madder than heck. Everyone in the Family better be ready because he's out to hurt them for good as he's tired of them.

Match#4 George Steele vs Rick Gatner
Vile. only good part is Bobby storming off when Gorilla brings up Wonderful
1/2*

They replay Wonderful firing Bobby.

Match#5 Hercules & King Harley Race w/Bobby Heenan vs The Young Stallions
Our real match of the week. The kids have a fun run for a minute or so of dropkicks and armdrags, and then Race and Herc batter them for the rest of it. Good solid beating thanks to Race being the man and making up for Herc being a thing. Herc wins with a Lariat.
*

Match#6 Koko B Ware vs Rick Renslow
60 seconds of Koko doing cool shit as quick and smooth as he can. Ghostbuster ends it.
*

Mean Gene-
-Mr Fuji says he's a great fisherman as he never moves his spot and they will catch the champs soon enough.
-Demo walk on and say they've demolished everyone they've come across. They mean business and a lot of men are scared of them, AND THEY SHOULD BE
-Ax says he's upset that Fuji is mad at them for only hurting 75%v of everyone they face when he wants 100%. They will do that and come after everyone they face and demolish them.
-Fuji says he's a six time tag champion and with his mind it's only a matter of time before they get the titles.

Match#1 Jake Roberts vs Dusty Wolfe

Jake is again given 3 minutes in a bad call as he's not built for longer squashes despite his gifts. Still, not bad or anything and he does at least kick the jobbers ass to make up for it. DDT ends it.
*1/2

Post match, the kid meets Damien.

Interview Stage-
-Slick and Nik make their way out as the guests.
-Slick says Bam Bam went with him because he's the best manager in the world and the richest of them all. He tries to introduce Bamer, but Humperdink walks out instead.
-He says he's here to introduce Bam, and the big man walks out and goes eye to eye with Slick. He says Slick is not his manger and he would never be if he the last slimeball on earth.
-He warns him and the commie to get out of his face, and Nik tries to be tough, so Bammer knocks him out cold.
-He officially names Humperdink as his new manger.

Match#2 The Hart Foundation & Danny Davis w/Jimmy Hart vs The Young Stallions & Brady Boone
Jimmy has a cut in saying he's dedicating his new song to Davis. Danny is fine enough as a dude who trained and was a jobber for years, but he's got nothing to him and it's easy to see why this dies soon enough. HF are amazing as hell and carry the load for 3 minutes and save the day. Bret goes nuts on rat boy by kicking his head in, and it's so cool to watch him snap on someone. Davis wins with a bad Boston Crab.
*1/2

Mean Gene-
-Humperdink says Wonderful has taken Patera's spot now that he's injured, and he's more than happy to fight the entire Family.
-Wonderful says it takes a man to win a battle and put your life on the line. He's proud of how he humiliated Heenan on TV, and beating Bundy will add to that.

We go to a pre-tape with Ken. His arm is all taped up and he's very mad at the Family for doing this to him, and he will get even. Makes sense to blame the Family, but i want this feud over.

Match#3 Don Muraco vs Tim Patterson
Don is getting cheered now. He finally gets to kick a jobbers ass once more and goes old school with sick strikes and wild power spots like a suplex over the ropes and a gross running poweslam as he's still got it. Orton has a cut in saying the Ace is going to run him over. Tombstone ends it.
**

WWF UPDATE-
-We again cover Wonderful turning face.
-Bobby and Rude are standing by. Bobby says he's done so much for Wonderful, so how dare he. If it's not Rude taking care of him, it'll be a member of the Family.
-Ken just got out of the hospital and there's room for one more.

Match#4 Killer Khan w/Mr Fuji vs Mike Starr
Another fun little one for Khan. Big shots that land very well and hard that clobber an all timer of a jobber. Mist and Knee does it.
*

Mean Gene-
-Hogan is all jacked up. He lives in the middle of NYC with all his buddies and has a secret plan for that dude OMG. When he shows up with the biggest pump he's ever had, all the fans will have all the gas masks on as the oxygen will be taken out of the place and OMG will not be able to breath. HE WILL BE HIS VICTIM AND HE WILL BE HIS MASTER.
-I think he's going to strangle him for real.

Match#5 Randy Savage w/Miss Elizabeth vs Tiger Chung Lee
RANDY IS OVER TO AN INSANE LEVEL. HOLY SHIT. He's got a heel jobber to mess up for the first time and kills it like always. He chops the tree down to start and snaps on him when he gets the chance, and Jesse loves watching these dirty bastards fight. Liz has a cut in saying that she doesn't agree wIth HTM's comments, and she doesn't even like his style. Randy gets in control and kicks the living shit out of Tiger with all the manic energy and kills him a thousand times. Randy slams him off the top and ends his night with the Elbow.
**

We now go to HTM. He says he's heard all the former IC champs are mad, namely Randy. Well, he can't sing or dance like him.

Match#6 The Killer Bees vs Steve Lombardi & Iron Mike Sharpe
Vince asks if Jesse knew what Bam Bam was going to do, and he says he had no idea and he hates Humperdink after what he did to Bobby and Slick. This fat little troll is going to pay some dues. 4 Bad minutes of the squash by the way as the Bees are just too bland and lame to survive much longer in the shark tank. Dropkick ends it,
1.2*

Mean Gene-
-Randy is going take Kamala back home and eat him all up.
-Liz could beat Fuji with her hair roller upside the head, and he bets his life on it.
Kamala is going down Macho Man style.

Match#1 Honky Tonk Man w/Jimmy Hart vs Jerry Monti
HTM's improvements continue as he's now busting out elbows to the neck and knees to the body, and it makes for a super fun time. He beats him up on the outside and drops him with an elbow, and we get an amazing shot of Jimmy cheering his little heart out. SRR. ends it.
**

Post match, HTM gives the fans what they want by singing and dancing.

Match#3 Stike Force vs Terry Gibbs & Steve Lombardi
Wooooo. Another great one for the boys as it's speed and smoothness for 4 minutes, and holy shit is it a fucking blast and then some. They work the arms and legs and break out rad double teams on the top of it, and i can't wait for the Islanders matches. Forearm ends it.
**

Mean Gene-
-Rick Rude says Wonderful was kicked out because he wasn't big enough.
-Gene says Bobby told him he was going to fire Wonderful, so he got in before he could. Rude calls him a liar and a snitch.
-Rude says he's going to be the next world champion as per his promise to Bobby.
-Gene asks to see if he can see Rude's body, and Rick says no as he doesn't feel like being a homewreaker today. AMAZING.

Ken Patera cuts another promo on the Family.

Match#4 One Man Gang w/Slick vs Billy Anderson
This episode is perfect, holy shit. OMG has 3 minutes to play and crushes and smashes the poor kid all the way up. He uses a series of nasty elbows to the head and face along with the fat, and it's a tremendous bully outing, Tunney has a cut in saying the 30 day probation is over and OMG can return to full duty. OMG smashes the kid with forearms to the head over and over, and the dude is dead on his feet after. Gordbuster ends it.
**

Mean Gene-
-Lanny reads a poem about how much he loves Gene.

Match#5 Paul Orndorff w/Oliver Humperdink vs Rex Farmer
Bobby leaves as he can't take it anymore. Good shit from Paul as he's really pissed off and bashes the crap out of the jobber on the outside using the rail and whatnot. He gets him back in and clobbers him some more. Piledriver ends it
**

Interview Stage-
-Bobby walks on and yells at Wonderful for being a turncoat coward, and he will pay for it.
-He says he's now going to bring out a gentlemen who deserves and demands all the humanoids respects. Andre
-The big man makes his way out as the boos reign down on him, and he's not happy at all.
-Craig tries to talk to him, but Andre walks out.
-Bobby says he told you if respect wasn't shown that would happen.

Match#6 Brutus Beefcake vs Mike Starr
Short one for Bruti as is the norm now, and it's fine but not much to write home about. Sleeper does it.
1/2*

Post match, Brutus does his thing.

Match#7 The Islanders w/Bobby Heenan vs Gatorwolf & Jesse Cortez
Our heroes belt the living shit out of a real scumfuck and his partner, and the world is better for it. Tama gets a ton of this week and uses his speed and pinpoint strikes to fuck these clowns up, and Haku plays clean up murdering them some more. Double Headbutt ends it.
**

Mean Gene-
-Slick is the best dressed man in the world EGGGGGGSAXTLY
-Butch has the best body in the world and he has to show himself off, and Butch walks on,
-Butch says Superstar knew it was coming with his ego and it was going to be skin and grin. He told him twice that old dogs and old broke down wrestlers don't last long chasing him.

TONIGHT; BAM BAM VS VOLKOFF

Match#1 Bam Bam Bigelow w/Oliver Humperdink vs Nikolai Volkoff w/Slick
Bam Bam clobbers him and does the cartwheel as Vince laughs his ass off, so you know he's in love. Bamer kicks his ass with the amazing offence that a dude as big as him shouldn't be able to, and its getting me so excited for his 90's run. Nik is a good warm body getting his ass kicked to his credit as he sells and bumps big for Bam, BBB unloads a series of gross headbutts and wins with a running one.
**1/2

Stage Interview-
-Ted and Virgil are the guests.
-Ted makes fun of the poor people who live on soup, while he's rich and loaded and he better than they'll ever be.
-He offers $300 for anyone who can do 10 pushups, and he picks out a little kid.
-The kid does 9 of them, AND VIRGIL KICKS HIS FEET OUT FROM UNDER HIM HAHAHAHAHHA
-The kid says he did his best, but Ted says he didn't do 10 and Virgil thinks he didn't earn it. Doing your best isn't good enough for him, so he doesn't get the money.

Match#2 The Rougeau Brothers & Koko B. Ware vs. Billy Anderson, Leroy Malion & Rudy Ryder
HOLY GOODAMN BABYFACE. Insane 2 minutes of the coolest babyface stuff they can think of, and the jobbers eat all the shit and a little bit more. Jesse says that kid got what he deserved and he can't change a deal halfway through. Koko and the brothers start triple teaming them with dropkicks and slams and it's just the best. Koko wins with the Ghostbuster
**

Mean Gene-
-Gene hypes up the Boston show tonight.
-Hogan walks on to talk about Khan being a coward who attacked him from behind, and he's like the Titanic whose way, way down brother. Khan is going down, and his weirdo haircut will be fixed by Brutus when he puts Khan on his shoulder and takes him to the barber shop.

In a pre-tape, Bobby Heenan is very proud he's the cover star of the WWF magazine.

Bobby now brings out the Family for Rude's match, and he brings Andre out as he demands he's shown respect. He shakes Rude's hand.

Match#3 Rick Rude w/Heenan Family vs Jerry Monti
25 seconds of nothing before Rude wins with the Backbreaker.
Sweathog City

At ringside, Vince explains Randy heard what HTM has been saying about him and went into the lockeroom after his match last week.

We go to the footage of Randy storming AND HE GRABS JIMMY BY THE THROAT AND DEMANDS TO KNOW WHERE HONKY IS. JIMMY SAYS HE DOESN'T KNOW, SO RANDY SAYS GIVE HIM A MESSAGE TO SHUT UP ABOUT HIM. JIMMY SAYS HE WILL, AND SCREAMS IN HIS THAT HE BETTER TELL HIM. Randy walks out and Jimmy says he's going to be sorry and Honky wouldn't let this happen if he was here. FUCK YEAH.

Match#4 Honky Tonk Man w/Jimmy Hart vs Gatorwolf
Good stuff from HTM once more. Jesse isn't happy that Randy took it out on Hart, and he's ready to see the match. HTM throws the really good strikes again and dances a lot, and it's fun times. SSR ends it.
*3/4

Mean Gene-
-Ted says this is not beauty school and he's going to bring shears to cut Brutus' hair if he tires anything out there.
-Brutus is a stepping stone and Hogan better be watching because he's coming for him next.

Match#5 Butch Reed w/Slick vs Silvi Afi
Butch now gets 3 minutes to do this thing, and it's great shit. Afi is a terrible wrestler and adds nothing, but Butch makes it work by kicking his stupid face in with all the cool muscle head shit he can think of. Top rope Lariat ends it.
**

WWF UPDATE-
-Craig covers Superstars's horrible return.

Match#6 Strike Force vs The Shadows
Wooooooo they get 3 minutes against masked goofs and smoke the hell out of them as they're now a perfect duo who compliment each other so fucking well. Bruno and Jesse spar about Tito helping Martel, and it's very funny stuff. Tito works a nasty headlock for a time and gets briefly isolated and sells his ass off, and then Martel goes nuts on his hot tag bashing and crashing them all around. Rick launches one of them into the Forearm for the win.
**

Mean Gene-
-Fuji says he saw Hogan crying and screaming in pain like the little Hulkster he is, and he's going to be crying even more after Khan gets done with him.
-Fuji is an evil man and he loves seeing others in pain, and Khan is going to tear one muscle at a time and it makes him HAPPY.
-When Khan slaps a face that's a Mongolian face job, boysan. He does the thinking for Khan and he listens all time.

WWF BOSTON GARDENS-12/9

Hulk Hogan (c) vs Killer Khan w/Mr Fuji (WWF World Championship)
Once again there is over, and then is Hogan being over. Insane reactions. Khan jumps him with a throat punch and goes to town on it with some cool wild man stuff, and Hogan sells like death right away. He whips Hogan with the belt across the back and messes him up more and more. KHAN TRIES THE MIST BUT HOGAN DUCKS AND THE REF TAKES IT. Khan keeps murdering Hogan as the ref is checked on, and we get a new one in there. Fuji attacks Hogan with his cane to help matters, and Hogan is all dead on the floor. Fuji hits him again and Hogan takes a spill on the concrete on the bad back. Khan keeps clobbering him, and holy shit is Hogan's woozy selling amazing as hell. Khan misses a knee and Hogan comes back to life and chops the tree down. He uses his wrist tape to even it up and chokes him half to death in some sweet revenge. He knocks him to the floor AND HITS HIM WITH A FUCKING CHAIR ACROSS THE BACK. HOLY HELL. HE HITS HIM ACROSS THE RIBS AS WELL, AND BEATS THE SHIT OUT OF HIM. Khan slips in another thrust to the throat to take back over and locks in the infamous nerve hold, and Hogan screams in pain and fights like hell to try and get out. He gets worn down more and more as Khan crushes his head and neck in epic fashion. Hogan dies over and over, but he Hulks up after eating the big knee off the top, and he lays waste to Khan. HE RAKES THE EYES TO BLIND HIM AND DOES IT AGAIN TO DROP HIM AND HITS THE RUNNING LEG DROP TO FINALLY KILL THE BEAST. HOLY SHIT YEAH
***1/2

Ted is pelted with trash on his way down to the ring in a wonderful visual, and Brutus is treated like Jesus come back to life when he walks out and rejects his cash to take a walk and punches him in the head.

Ted DiBiase w/Virgil vs Brutus Beefcake
Brutus throws him all over the place with backdrops and arm drags and it's the most fired up and awesome i've ever seen him be. Ted's bump are wild as he's going all over the place and dying on each one in different ways. He can't get a thing going as Brutus keeps making a goof of him, and the crowd is goddamn burning for all of it. DiBiase finally slips in a punch to the eye and rams his face into the corner to take over, and he batters him in revenge with some nasty punches and elbows to the face. Brutus' selling is goofy and silly, but it's working after how much Ted for him earlier. Brutus takes a good beating and then fights back with another fired up comeback where he's running as fast as he can to smash the shit out of Ted. Virgil trips him and Ted gets a rollup with the tights to steal it.

WWF Wrestling Challenge
September 13th, 1987
San Francisco, CA

To start the show, Bobby shows off his magazine cover. Gorilla ignores it like a real jerk.

Match#1 Superstar Billy Graham vs Tim Patterson
Vile gutter sucking trash. SBG is already bad, but it's enhanced with a bad hip and the weakest and worst looking old man strikes you've ever seen. It's embarrassing. Bearhug ends my pain.
POOP

Match#2 Demolition w/Mr Fuji vs Ricky Ataki & Pete Ketchum
The fellas get 3 minutes the do their thing and they kill no time as they club and smash the cunt out of these two from the get go. They club one of them so hard he smashes his body off the mat. AX THROWS THE JOBBER INTO HIS CORNER AND DEMANDS HIS PARTNER GETS IN. HAHAHAHAHAHA AMAZING. They murder that poor fuck as well, and it's the best and coolest stuff. One of the dudes loses his head and Demo take it home in a bag.

Mean Gene-
-JYD rambles and fumbles his way through a promo before going to do a line of coke with Hogan.

Match#3 Jake Roberts vs Iron Mike Sharpe
Jake is again given 4 minutes to play in what seems to be the new norm. Mike rules and stooges up a storm and takes a killer beating, so this is the best long one from Jake thus far. DDT ends it.

Mean Gene-
-Hercules talks about all the men he put on the shelf such as BJH and Patera, and Hogan is next on the list.
-Herc says he's walked out the victor every time, and this won't end with BJH because he'll never learn because he's dumb. One day he's going to realise he can't

Match#4 Ted Dibiase w/ Virgil vs Lanny Poffo
Ted beat this little flippy nerd up with some really great strikes and roughhousing work, and it's good stuff for 2 minutes or so. Ted wins with an Indian Death Lock.
*1/2

Interview Stage-
-HTM and Jimmy are the guests.
-Due to Challenge being taped weeks earlier than Superstars, the sick angle hasn't happened yet so it's just him shit talking Randy not being able to sing and dance.
-Jimmy at least says a woman manager knows nothing and stands zero chance against him, so that's something.

They replay Bam Bam picking Humperdink.

They then replay Bam/Nik in full.

Match#5 The Hart Foundation & Danny Davis w/Jimmy Hart vs Scott Casey, Sivi Afi, & Carl Schmidt
Same deal as last time with HF doing all the cool work and carrying it, while Davis is a bland fella adding nothing to this stupid angle. Davis wins with a bad splash.
*

Mean Gene-
-King Kong Bundy walks on and calls out Hogan like it's 20 months ago and he's still a pushed monster, and not a dude whose seemingly vanished.
-He calls Wonderful a dwarf and a coward, and says he won't say midget as he doesn't want to offend Mean Gene.
-Paul quit on the Family just before Bobby was going to fire him.
-Paul only cares about his body and not making money and winning titles, and that's not what makes them the best.
-Bundy yells at Gene for snitching that Bobby was going to fire him.
