WWF World Champion: Hulk Hogan-23/1/84
WWF Intercontinental Champion: Tito Santana-11/2/84
WWF Tag Team Champions: Tony Atlas & Rocky Johnson-10/12/83

WWF All-Star Wrestling
March 28th, 1984
Allentown, PA

Match#1 Tito Santana vs Israel Matia

WWF needs way more jobbers now that the boom has hit, because i swear Tito has wreaked this dude 30 times in the last three months. It's fucking fine as fucking always, fuck man.
*

WWF Update-Mr Wonderful. Vince is horrified by his actions since his debut, but not as much as the other wrestlers are when it comes to not knowing what he may do to them to secure the win. They show highlights of his piledriver.

Match#2 Cowboy Bob Orton vs Jose Luis Rivera
OH FUCK, HE'S HERE. Some fine basics on the mat because he turns it into a slugfest and batters JLR for a while with some sick clubbing and knees. Superplex ends it
*3/4

They show replays of the Superplex and Geno is in awe of it.

Match#3 Rocky Johnson, SD Jones & Tony Atlas vs Ron Shaw, John Callahan & Pete Doherty
Very bad showcase for the faces. Can't wait for them to finally stop being pushed in favour of far better wrestlers. Atlas's combo does it
poop

Match#4 Jose Gonzalez vs Johnny Ringo

Brusier's killer gets a squash unmasked and with his real name. Fuck. It's good because he has some legit skills and works the arm really well, it's just jarring is all. It'll be like when i watch Benoit in a few years. Just a bad thing to have to watch, but i can't skip it. He beats Ringo's ass like he wants to be booker or something, and it's good times. He wins with a flying dropkick
*3/4

Match#6 Paul Orndroff & David Schultz w/Roddy Piper vs Frank Vasquez & Johnny Rivera

God yes, what a fucking heel team. They're both brutal as hell and really compliment each other with sick offence on the neck and head, which favours both men. Doc wins with the Elbow
*3/4

Piper's Pit with Frankie Williams. Piper says he's doing this one out of the goodness of his heart. He says he's from Ohio, and Piper says he''s never lost a match there or anywhere to be honest. He's never seen him win a match because he lacks the guts to go after a man and fight, Frankie gets mad and says he's not afraid of anyone. He will run from no one, and Piper says he's a lousy wrestler, and he should be making pizza. Frankie says he's in there in the ring , AND PIPER FLIPS OUT AND PUNCHES THE FUCKING HELL OUT OF HIM IN THE FACE AND NECK. HE HITS HIM IN THE JAW WITH THE MIC AND THROWS HIM OFF THE SET. HE THEN DROPS THE ALL TIME FUCKING LINE "JUST WHEN THEY THINK THEY'VE GOT THE THE ANSWERS, I CHANGE THE QUESTIONS"

Match#7 Terry Daniels vs Johnny Ringo (Cobra Court)
Vince explains Sarge has put this together to test out some kids to see what they have. Bad jobbers match as neither man really offers anything, and Vince gets mad and calls Ringo sloppy and out of shape. Daniels wins with a Sunset Flip
Maggots

Post match, Sarge gives Daniels some advise and tells him to do some pushups.

Match#8 Hulk Hogan vs Afa w/Sika
The ultra rare Hogan TV match. He gives the big man some token offence before rightly running through him as only he can at this point. Hogan gets rid of everyone and beats Afa with the legdrop
*3/4

Post match, Hogan beats up Albano and Sika, and then does the pose.

Match#9 Tonga Kid vs Tony Russo
TK does his thing and it's fine enough for the couple of minutes it gets. He wins with a small package

Match#1 Tito Santana vs Mike Powers

Tito got a new jobber to play with, i'll be damned. Good shit as always from him, and Powers is a big ol boy who adds a visual step to Tito whipping his ass, so it's good times. Forearm claims another brain
**

WWF Update-Iron Sheik. Footage of breaking backs and fucking asses. We then see some footage of him buying new cars, mink coats etc, and then Vince says some birds shit on his car. AMAZING.

Match#2 Greg Valentine w/Lou Albano vs Frank Vasquez
Awesome Hammer leg work on some poor fuck. He just has a way of bending and breaking them like few others, so you know it looks painful but it also IS actually painful. Figure Four does it
**

Post match, Greg gets back in and puts it back on just to do it.

Match#3 Bob Backlund vs Tony Russo
Bob is now on TV like he's some guy, and it's a shame. Much better than last time as he's facing a proper jobber with skills and not a hack like Lee. Good work on the arm with some cool takedowns mixed in, before he wins with the Backslide
*1/2

MEAN GENE
He's hyping up MSG on the 23rd of April
Hammer & Lou are up first. They say the last match with Bob ended on countout because of hate, but this time it will one man standing tall. Hammer is in a full suit and says he's the prettiest man in wrestling, and last time he was ahead on points and this time will be no different. He will put him in the figure four and cripple him.
Atlas, Johnson & Putski walk on and cut a very bad promo about wrestling Piper, Doc & Orndorff.
Backlund is up next and he has a bad crew cut and looks like shit. Just a complete destruction of our guy.

Match#4 Paul Orndorff w/Roddy Pipper vs Santiago Rios
Siiiiick one for Wonderful. He goes right for the attack and kicks the fuck out of him in and out of the ring, and he's easily the best squash guy in the WWF. Piledriver kills him dead
**

Piper's Pit with Terry Daniels. He's in full military getup and i assume that Sarge took him as his new son. Piper talks about all the army movies with people screaming at him, and he wants to know if he'd actually let a geek do that to him. Terry says it's mental toughness and it helps him handle anything. Piper gets super excited and says he's never done a thing he was told his entire life, and he couldn't join because he could never take orders. He calls him nuts for being willing to get shot. Terry says he loves his country and he loves America. Piper shakes his head and leaves.

Match#5 Bob Orton w/Roddy Piper vs Lee Wong
Orton has some killer arm work this time, and Piper is very happy at ringside. Fucking love all of this coming together a year before Mania. Vince assumes they're now aligned together and it's trouble for the WWF. Suplerplex ends it
**

Match#6 Roddy Piper vs SD Jones

HERE WE FUCKING GO. Piper stalls and stooges before he goes insane on Stupid Dumb Jones. Tons of gross punches and neck work, and it's what we've needed someone to do to SD for years and years. Sleeper kills him dead.

Match#1 Rocky Johnson & Tony Atlas vs Tony Colon & Johnny Ringo

Another bad one for the faces, but at least this shit is over in the next few weeks. I mean, fuck yeah for them breaking a barrier and making history, but gosh what a terrible duo. Tony wins with the bad combo
1/2*

WWF Update-Jimmy Snuka. Footage of him diving off stuff.

Match#2 David Schultz w/Roddy Piper vs Jose Luis Rivera
JLR gets some token offence before Doc shuts him down with ease and wins with the Elbow in about 87 seconds
*

Match#3 Sgt Slaughter w/Terry Daniels vs Charlie Fulton

Sarge is even more popular this week and it's a crime he never got his run on top as a face, but i get it. Also, he's now wearing some sick red white and blue gear, and it's some all time stuff. Awesome stuff from Sarge as always with those nasty strikes on Fulton's stupid fucking body. GROSS Lariat cracks his skull and the Clutch ends it
**

They replay Backlund's promo from last week.

Match#4 Bob Orton w/Roddy Piper vs Tonga Kid
Hell Yeah. TK finally gets to do some cool shit and Bob bumps well for him. He goes to well once to many times, and Bob catches him into a gross backbreaker to fuck him up and then hits the Superplex to win
**

Piper's Pit with Ivan Putski. Piper makes fun of his stupid muscles not impressing him at all, and his singing is even worse. I THINK YOUR SINGING STINKS. Ivan sings and Piper is very mad at him and has another wonderful freak out.

Match#5 The Iron Sheik w/Freddie Blassie vs Lee Wong
Sheik kills him with a belly to belly and then the clutch in maybe 30 seconds

The first two matches are replays of a Hammer and a Tito squash from previous shows, so fuck this.

Match#1 Jimmy Snuka vs Mike Powers
Bad stuff from Snuka, but it's at least short. Splash does it
poop

Post match, they do the stretcher gimmick like it's cool.

Mean Gene is with Sgt Slaughter. He says when he sits in MSG, he can hear the ghosts of past wrestlers and he knows it means he's elite that he gets to part of this. Iron Sheik will be going head to head with him, and this is where the battles start and end. He will be taking no prisoners.

They replay the Wonderful/Doc squash, and Pipers pit. Fuck this

Match#2 Hulk Hogan vs Tiger Chung Lee
HELL YEAH. Hogan murders this piece of shit in amazing fashion, and i wish he was on every show squashing all the wrestlers i hate. Legdrop does the deed
**

At ringside, Geno meets Hogan. CAN YOU FEEL HULKAMANIA RUNNING WILD, MEAN GENE. HE FEELS LIKE HE'S IN VEGAS ON A ROLL AND THERE'S NO STOPPING THEM NOW, JACK. HE LOVES ALL THE FANS AND HE'LL STAND UP FOR THEM AND HE''S NEVER GOING DOWN DADDY. HE AIN'T COMING OFF THE TOP FOR NOBODY. Well, he ain't lying at least.

In the back, Iron Sheik says he will take down the US and make them pay for their sins. Remember, no one will recogonise him after he's done beating his face in. THIS IS HIS LIFE AND THIS IS FAMILY AND THIS IS EVERYTHING HE HAS AND CARES ABOUT.

To start the show, Vince is in the control room and says they will have footage from sevreal recent shows.

Match#1 SD Jones vs Rene Goulet.
Ten Very dull and bad minutes. Lots of boring stuff and nothing worth seeing or writing about at all.
Fuck off

WWF Update-Tito Santana. They show footage of Tito clobbering people.

Match#2 Andre The Giant vs Johnny Rodz & Tony Russo & Steve King
Wonderful Andre murder for a few minutes. Not sure what year this is from as the footage looks to be really old, but it fucking rules nonetheless. He kills them all and sits on all 3 to pin them
**

Match#3 Sgt Slaughter vs Mr Fuji & Tiger Lee
Not sure why, but fuck yeah kill em both dead. He takes a good beating from them and makes them look good for once, and then he mounts a sick comeback and rules ass beating them up. He boots Fuji out of the ring and chokes Lee to death with the Clutch
**

Piper's Pit with Tony Atlas & Rocky Johnson. Piper makes some really bad race jokes and holy shit, not good. He moves on to them being muscle heads who can't win without help, but yikes man. He moves on to Atlas being very stupid and not being able to understand what he's saying. Bad shit

Match# 1 Tito Santana vs JJ Dillion (WWF Intercontiental Championship)

Yes, that JJ is here.Dillon was originally booked on the show to be in a preliminary match, kind of as a favour since he was getting ready to hang up the boots as a full-time, in-ring performer, and it was a wish-list scenario to perform at MSG. Wild Samoan Afa ended up missing the show, so Dillon was inserted into this significantly higher profile match. Sick as hell that he got this chance. Awesome struggle on the mat to start with JJ holding his own, and Tito needed to ramp up his speed to get out of it. Tito works the arm for the next few minutes in classic kill some time fashion, and it's good for that type of work. JJ's selling is very good as he holds it right against his side, or shakes it out when he has a chance. Just the small good shit. JJ finally rakes the eyes to take over and he has some cool punches for a bit, but not much else before Tito shuts him back down and kills him with the Forearm to win in an abrupt manner.
**1/4

Match#2 Sgt Slaughter vs The Iron Sheik

Sarge has a battle helmet on in another all time look, and he's fucking pissed and attacks Sheiky right away and we've got a goddamn fight on our hands. Sarge rips the turban off his head and tears it up and fucks up Sheik some more, and MSG is white hot for it. Sarge spits on him and Sheik sells it and convulses on the mat. Sarge keeps it up and beats him up on the outside in some wonderful babyface shine. Sarge charges in the corner but Sheik catches him with a boot the ribs and then he kicks him in the fucking throat with the loaded boot, and Sarge is all kinds of fucked up. Amazing selling of the throat as Sheik ramps up the violence in revenge for the last 5 minutes. He strangles him with the ropes and attacks the throat over and over, and even does some spitting on top of it all. Sheik breaks out a gross gutwrench as well, and it's crazy how easy he picked him up. Sarge slowly fights back with body shots and he starts hulking up and wreaking Sheiks shit, and it's perfect man. Sheik bows to hm, AND SARGE STOMPS ON HIS HANDS AND POUNDS HIS HEAD. He clobbers him with the lariat and then takes his boot off, AND HE BASHES SHEIK'S FACE IN WITH IT OVER AND OVER AND SHEIK BAILS TO THE HILLS. The coward ref DQ's Sarge.
***

IN THE BACK, SARGE CHASES AFTER HIM AND TACKLES HIM TO THE GROUND AND ALL THE HEELS AND FACES HAVE TO DRAG THEM APART. AND EVEN VINCE TRIES TO HELP CALM IT DOWN. FUCK YEAH, GIVE ME MORE.

Match#3 Bob Backlund vs Greg Valentine
One last time. With the Hogan era being here to stay, this feels super out of place to main event, but i'm not going to turn down two of the best to ever do it. Hammer wastes no time in going on the attack, and we get another cool opening battle for control over the arm and leg as these men are who they are at the very core of themselves. Hammer gets the arm first and goes to town on it before Bob can get free, and it's another good control seg from the Hammer. However, Bob doesn't do much to try and fight out of it for a time, and i can't tell if he's trying to help Hammer in looking like a complete killer, or if he's just done with everything right now. Bob eventually tries to fight back, but he doesn't have the same fire as before, and Hammer is able to shut him down a few times with ease. It goes on for a while and it's fine, but a major part is missing. Bob finally targets the leg and goes half crazy, but again, not much fire as we're used to seeing. Good selling from Hammer for a while before it all breaks down. Backlund gets an O'Conner roll to steal a win he didn't need at all.

TONIGHT. TITO VS SCHULTZ IN A NON TITLE MATCH

Match#1 Tito Santana vs David Schultz
Tito schools him to start just to do it, and Doc is not happy and tries to match him hold for hold in return. He goes for the arm has some cool work on it, but his shit talking to the fans is what steals the show. Just jawing at them as he batters poor Tito for a few minutes. Tito fights back with his fire and anger and sends Doc on the backfoot with each shot to the face. He goes crazy with punches and knees, but Doc catches him and throws him out of the ring to the hardwood floor. They fight out the outside and the ref counts them both out.
**3/4

God, i hope we get some return matches asap.

Sheik hype video

Match#2 Brian Blair vs Israel Metia
Decent showcase for Blair. It's fun to dunk on him for being a complete loser and all that, but he's very good in ring and i don't dread watching him, so fuck it, call me a Bee Sharpe. He wins with a fancy rollup
*3/4

Match#3 Sgt Slaughter w/Terry Daniels vs Tiger Chung Lee

Sarge runs through him with a white hot crowd going nuts for everything, and it's a wonderful thing to watch. Gross Lariat does it
**

Piper's Pit with Lou Albano. Lou says he wishes he could be his manager because he's a true man. Piper says he took Cyndi Lauper from nothing to the biggest star in the entire world. They show the amazing "girls want to have fun" music clip, and something incredible is coming.

Match#4 Paul Orndorff w/Roddy Piper vs Salvatore Bellomo
Wonderful does his thing and it rocks even more with a class act like Sal in there to take the beating.Piper talks ENDLESS amounts of shit the entire time, and it's amazing. Piledriver murders him dead.

Another mean one from the two who should have won the tag titles at some point. They just mesh incredibly well together and the jobbers get murdered as a result. Elbow does it
**

Mean Gene-
Tito Santana is here and he's a happy man to be in a sport he loves and lives for. I love ya Tito, but you suck as speaking,
Big John Studd. He calls Geno a little man who has a lot in common with the loser fans who look up to him and wish they could be half his size. Gene says a lot of small men have big hearts, and he shouldn't target him. Fuck yeah, Gene. Studd says no man can match his strength.
Sgt Slaughter. The war started with all these men targeting him and the marine corps, and he knows they wish they could do any of the things he does early in the morning. He says Studd might be digging latrines if he's not careful.

They replay Sarge/Lee.

Replay of Albano on the Pit.

This begs the question of which show comes first, but whatever it's easier to watch.

Match#3 Iron Sheik w/Freddie Blassie vs Steve Lombardi

Match#1 Greg Valentine w/Lou Albano vs Pete Sanchez

Greg gets 4 plus minutes this time and really goes to work on the kid. Limb work, sick elbows etc. Everything that makes him awesome as hell. Figure Four ends it
**

Post match, Greg breaks the kid some more. Best of all time.

WWF Update-Sgt Slaughter. Some new clips of him being awesome as hell.

Match#2 The North South Connection vs SD Jones & Tony Garea
Our boys squash the most dreadful jobber duo in history. I'd rather watch Erik Watts & David Flair over these two motherfuckers. Dick unloads hell on Tony with punches and elbows to the jaw, and then he shit talks him on top of all of that "DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT, BOY" Adrian gets in on the fun and fucks him up as well for a while, and it's what i've needed for years and years. Sadly, SD has a very bad hot tag that the fellas sell very well for before Dick catches him with the back elbow and then kills him with another to the heart.

Mean Gene-MSG Hype

Wonderful is up fist and he will be facing Tito for the IC title. He knows the people are jealous of him because all the tools he's been gifted with, and he won't say sorry for what he's been given. He is sick of the fans calling him Paula, and he will hurt anyone who calls him that because his kind doesn't mix with those kind.
Hulk Hogan is up next, brother. He will be facing Schultz. He's been hanging and banging and lifting all the weights so he can beat this jack and ride his Harley down the road because he's American Made, dude.
Sarge is next. He's used to fighting wars and having blood drip down his face, and this is a war he will fight until he's got nothing left. The cannon is loaded and it won't be pretty when he shoots it.

Piper's Pit with Rocky Johnson. Piper says he knows he's here to get some respect by being on here, and he's going to give a slight break. Rocky grabs the mic and says he won't be insulted like last time, and he's warning him. Piper says he has no other choice but to be insulted because he's here with a big shot like him. Piper breaks a rag and tells Rocky it might be time to shine his shoes, AND ROCKY ATTACKS HIM. FUCK YEAH KILL HIM. A TON OF WRESTLERS COME OUT AND DRAG THEM OFF EACH OTHER.

Match#3 Paul Orndorff vs Jose Luis Rivera
Paul is very mad about the "Paula" chants and takes it out of JLR in awesome fashion. He's already a massive bully dick, but the chants make him unload a hell of a beating on the poor kid and really hurt him. Piledriver finally ends the kids night

WWF PHILADELPHIA SPECTRUM
MAY 5TH, 1984

As to make these reviews easier for you to read, and for me to actually review, i'll be cherry picking matches from live events like all title matches, debuts etc, as no one wants to read about 10 minute Rene Goulet matches. I mean, maybe you do and you're sick, but that's not my place to judge.

Lord Alfred is on the call for the first time. Hell Yes

Sgt Slaughter vs David Schultz
A callback to the last match Sarge had as a heel when Doc turned on him and left him dead in a tag match, so fuck yeah for continuity. Also, there are two refs to maintain order because of how crazy these two are, which is a sick inclusion. Sarge goes right for it and beats him up and we get some fantastic Doc bumping and stooging for it all, and it's a killer display. Sarge keeps it up and even attacks the dick just to do it. Sarge misses a knee into the corner and fucks his leg up, and Doc goes after him. He never attacks the leg, instead opting just to beat the crap out of him now that he can't move and it's a smart move if you aren't going to go after a limb. Doc misses a charge of his own into the corner, and Sarge murders him with the Lariat when he turns back around to win the fight
**3/4

Buzz Sawyer w/Lou Albano vs Tonga Kid

BUZZ IS HERE, OH MY GOD YES. It's not for a long time as he's fucking nuts beyond normal wresting standards, but fuck yes for what we do get. He gets 4 minutes to squash TK and he does it incredibly well with awesome strikes and wild man offence. He wins with a nasty bulldog
**

Post match, Lou tells Hayes that Buzz is normal and in now way a complete nutcase.

We get an incredible camera shot of Hogan praying in the back to eventually walking out to the ring, AND SHEIK LUNGES AT HIM AND IT'S FUCKING ON

Hulk Hogan (c) vs Iron Sheik (WWF World Championship)
Sheik chokes him with his robe and whips him with the title belt across his back, and the fans are insane with anger and fury. Sheik chokes him and spits on him, and Hogan's selling is tremendous and then he fights back and it's even fucking cooler to watch. SO much fire on display and Sheik bumps like crazy for him. Hogan chokes him back in revenge and gets dirty, and normally that would suck, but given everything it makes sense and rules. Hogan keeps it up and Sheik is mauled to pieces, and it's a perfect follow up to the title switch. Sheik gets a punch to the throat to finally stop him and he kicks him with the loaded boot and busts him open. Hogan gets a gusher of a blade job, and Sheik bites and stomps at it like a real prick. Hogan sells it well and then makes his first proper bloody hulk up and it's a fucking moment in time watching it unfold. Hogan rips of Sheik's shoe and bashes his head in with it to bust him open in revenge. Hogan hits him over and over and even bites him for another fuck you. Hell yeah. The ref finally throws it out. Booooo
***1/4

Tito Santana (c) vs Greg Valentine (WWF Intercontiental Championship)

Here we go. They fight for control right away as neither man is going to back down from a fight, and it's a nice change of pace to see Hammer go for it right from the bell now that a title is on the line. He thumps him with elbows and kicks and goes for the leg, and Tito tries to fight him off but Greg gets it anyway and rips it over the ropes to hurt him. Tito fights like hell to get back up and punches the shit out of him all while selling the bad leg!. Greg finally drops him throat first over the ropes to knock him down, and he goes to town with a super fun control seg. He's mean and brutal and wastes no time trying to kill his leg. Anyone who tells you Hammer is boring is a cop. Tito eventually mounts a sick comeback and Greg is overwhelmed and realises he might be fucked, so he crotches him over the top rope for the DQ

WWF Championship Wrestling

Hamburg, PA

Match#1 Ivan Putski vs. Rene Goulet

OH COME ON. Evil vile, and possibly a war crime under NATO law if i'm not mistaken.
Massive Poo that sticks between your cheeks.

WWF Update-Von Erich's. Vince talks about the amazing family and how they'll be coming to the WWF. Oh no

Match#2 Brian Blair vs Ron Shaw
Good showcase for Bee guy. Shaw is a big dude and presents a challenge for smaller wrestlers to take him down, and Blair does a good job of arm dragging him to mat and working said arm when he hits the mat. fun basic work on it, and while Shaw doesn't sell it, it's at least very well done stuff. He wins with another fancy rollup.
**

Match#3 Sgt Slaughter vs Israel Matia
IM is a big fat dude, so he also presents a cool challenge for stars to use some heavy power to knock him on his ass and beat him down. Sarge is built for that and then some, so this is a great squash. Sarge even uses a fucking slingshot suplex and crushes the big man's guts over the ropes. Cobra Clutch does it
**

Piper's Pit with Lou Albano. This time, Piper presents Lou with his rightful gold record for making Cyndi a star with her latest single Time after Time! They show the clip and it's all time banger. Piper asks if he can bring her on the show now that he made her a star, and Lou says he'll see what he can do. AMAZING.

Mean Gene Interviews-

Sheiky Baby and Blassie come on. Sheik has a picture of a man in an Iranian army uniform, which he says is him, and says he was the youngest and most successful general ever, and he spits on South Carolina. He starts yelling in Arabic and then says someone very important in Iran said if he doesn't beat Slaughter, he is not welcome in his home country ever again.

Match#4 David Schultz vs Salvatore Bellomo
Good shit from Doc as always. Elbow ends it
*3/4

Post match, Gene interviews Doc. He says do the fans want him to walk up and kiss them on the lips and not be dangerous and mean. YOU'RE MEANT TO BE TOUGH AND THE WWF HAS NO PLACE FOR CRY BABIES. HE'S DONE IT ALL EXCEPT GET THE WWF TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST, SO HE'S GOING TO DO THAT NEXT BECAUSE THERE IS NO MAN WHO CAN KICK OUT OF THE ELBOW. HE'S BEEN THROUGH THE BEST AND NOW HE'S GOING THROUGH THE REST.

-Greg Valentine and Albano are on promoting a match vs. Jay Strongbow. Albano says Strongbow is a legend, but says Valentine is the one who broke his leg to begin with, AND VALENTINE ASKS IF HE NEEDS TO DITCH THE SUIT FOR THE SHIRT SO EVERYONE KNOWS IT! AMAZING!

Sgt Slaughter vs Iron Sheik (19/5/84)
Fuck yeah, let's do this forever. Big fight to start as it should be and Sarge is again quicker on the punch and Sheik takes a beating for his sins. Sarge even hits him with a chair in the stomach and head because fuck him. Sarge keeps up and Sheik is a wonderful pinball stooge for a while, and it's what you'd expect from him. Sarge keeps refusing to pin him and end it, and he misses a charge and flies over the buckle to the concrete floor. Sheik hits him with a chair for some revenge to bust him ope and beats his ass old country style. Fun control seg with some great Sarge selling throughout. Slaughter makes a sweet comeback and it turns into a slug fest. Sarge hits the cannon and drops him and tries to take the boot off, but the ref stops him so Sarge shoves him on his ass. Sheik shoves the ref as well and he DQ's them both

Tonight; Blair vs Orton. Sarge vs Butcher,

Match#1 Paul Orndorff vs Salvatore Bellomo
Standard cool stuff from Wonderful to Sal. Like i said, they need new jobbers asap because this shit is beyond a joke at this point. Piledriver ends it
*3/4

WWF Update-Hogan still rules

Match#2 Bob Orton vs Brian Blair
Gets over six minutes is an awesome choice. Bee doesn't back down at all now that he's on a roll, and he takes it right to Orton and really throws him off his game. Bob catches him coming off the ropes with a powerslam and beats him down in a fun control seg. All very basic offence done very well from a very good pro wrestler. Blair's attempted comebacks are fun and he gets closer and closer, but Orton reverses a suplex into a cradle to steal it.
**1/2

The asshole who made this cut off a Gene segment. Go to hell

Match#3 David Schultz vs Bill Travis
Dave gets 5 minutes because it's one of those episodes where they said fuck it. He rocks and all, but i don't want 5 minute squashes for the most part from anyone not named SID tbqh. Elvow does it
*

Match#4 Sgt Slaughter wTerry Daniels vs Butcher Vachon
Sarge runs through the fat old man and it's good shit. Butcher throws some good punches and gets Sarge angry, so our hero shuts him down and fucks his day up. Sheik watches from the outside and taunts the kid, and he attacks him and Sarge run out of the ring and Sheik bails. Sarge gets counted out.
3/4*

Post match, Sarge gets back in and kills Butcher with the lariat and Clutch.

Mean Gene meets Sarge when he gets back out and he's pissed. THIS MAGGOT SCUM PUT HANDS ON HIS FRIEND AND HE'S GOING TO RIP HIS HEAD OFF AND MAKE HIM BLEED. OLD GLORLY NEVER TOUCHED THE GROUND AND THE WAR IS STILL ON. FUCK YES.

Match#5 Bob Backlund vs Lenny Kean
It was meant to be Fuji here, but he never showed up and Gene is confused and angry. Good Bob squash nonetheless, but i wanted Fuji to die. Vince says Fuji has the flu and a bad injury, and he's lucky to be alive. Crossface ends it

At ringside, Vince and Gene announce the tag title match will happen tonight, so i guess the dates are fucked up???? I have no idea. Also, Cyndi Lauper will be in Piper's Pit. OH SHIT.

Match#1 Buzz Sawyer w/Lou Albano vs SD Jones
Buzz murders this dweeb for a few minutes with gross strikes and crazy wild man stuff like his debut, and you can't help but smile at it all. Running powerslam ends it
**

During the previous match there was an update for house show on the 28th of May, so the dates are fucked up because NSC won the title on the 17th of April and it was aired on the 8th according to cagematch, but there was no show on that date it turns out, so now they're airing it a month later and WWE just weirdly never fixed the dates even 40 years later. So, it's their fuck up and not mine from what i can tell. Fuck it, back to the show.

WWF Update-Andre The Giant. We see some footage of him killing people.

Match#2 Jimmy Snuka vs Lenny Kean
Standard Jimmy squash. Fuck him at this point, and considering he's pretty much useless until Taker squashes him at Mania to start the streak, fuuuuuuuck him. Splash does it
1/2*

Mean Gene Interviews-June 16th, MSG
Gene announces THE BOOT CAMP MATCH BETWEEN SARGE AND SHEIK. FUCKING YES
-Sarge walks on with a wooden chair and one of Sheik's boots stuck in it. He screams about all the horrible things they've done to him over the last few weeks, and he says he begged for one last match to finally end this. There are no rules and he can ram the boot into his skull and no one can ever stop him. The ref will be there to count the pin on Sheik's prone dead body, or when he chokes him out with the clutch. YOU'RE ALL MINE, YOU MAGGOT.
-Tito is up next. He says he knows Greg wants his title and the chance to break his leg, but he's got heart and passion and he's ready to meet him head on.
-Sheiky Baby & Blassie walk and are very angry about this. Blassie says Sarge is a moron if he thinks this will be easy. He says they attacked that kid because he spat on Sheik and he got what he deserved. Sheik calls Sarge a coward who can't wrestle a former WWF and olympic champion, and he's going to break his back and spit on his body for his country.

Match#3 Tito Santana vs Tiger Chung Lee
Fine enough Tito showcase with the same jobber problems as always. Imagine being a kid and going to 4hrs of tapings and seeing 334 Tiger matches. Christ. Forearm does it
*

Piper's Pit . Piper has spike hair, earrings and a sick pink fit. He call Lou and Cyndi out, and Lou shows up and says he's a little delayed and she'll be here soon. Lou loses his mind and blames this on Dave Wolf (her manager) and Piper screams that no one makes a fool of him and he'll get Wolf on his show.

Match#4 Tony Atlas & Rocky Johnson (c) vs North-South Connection (WWF World Tag Team Championships)
Ok, here we go. Wish the fuck up hadn't happened, but at least the reign of terror is finally at its end. Awesome heel stooging to start with some very funny moments and cool bumps, and it's the best the champs have ever looked. Murdoch gets isolated and carries Atlas through some basics and makes him look like he's trained for the only time in his life. Adonis gets in and beats the hell out of him with knees and elbows, and Tony does a good job bumping for them. It all breaks down as Rocky tags in and a cool brawl happens. Murdoch fights Atlas on the floor and Adonis sneaks in behind Rocky and rolls him up and they win the titles!!!
**3/4

I'll amend the dates to fix this just for my own brain, but fuck it our guys are the champs and the WWF is now rid of shitty ones for a while.

Mean Gene-
Hammer and Lou are standing by. Hammer says everyone he faces has the fear of getting their legs broken and having their career ended in a moment. Lou says Hammer has 90 pounds of pressure that he can apply on a leg, and he wouldn't want it on him.

Match#5 Bob Orton vs Billy Travis
Good shit from Cowboy as always. Billy is a nothing jobber who brings nothing to it, but at least he's a new body for them to kill. Superplex does it

Piper's Pit with Dave Wolf.

Match#1 Greg Valentine w/Lou Albano vs Jay Strongbow
Strongfake is back to ruin our lives. Hammer takes no shit and attacks him right away and the old man has no answers for him. Actual good selling from Jay in terms of the work and a nasty Race corner bump the floor. Fuck yeah, Strongfake. Hammer doesn't let up and keep kicking the shit out of him as he damn well should. Fake gets a sleeper out of nowhere and Hammer sells it amazingly and nearly passes out, but he gets free and knocks him back to the floor. They fight on the outside and the old man is posted and Hammer slides in to win via countout
**1/4

Post match, Hammer locks in the figure four and wreaks the old man for a while and leaves very happily after killing him. Bless

WWF Update-Lou Albano. Vince covers his work with Cyndi over the last few months, and how he made her a star and it's only the start. INSANE to think where this all goes. WWF is cooking with an atom bomb.

Match#2 David Schultz vs SD Jones
SD goes on a flurry to start and its bad and lame, but Doc's selling at least saves it from that end. SD keeps controlling for some horrible reason and it's not because Doc has slapped anyone yet, so what the fuck. Doc finally bodyslams him and beats him with the elbow. Fuck this
1/2*

Mean Gene-
-Wonderful is up first. He's facing Hogan for the title in a few weeks and he's going to end his life. He put Tito in the hospital last week and that's what he does to people. He's going to squat and deadlift Hogan and take the title.
Brian Blair walks on in a very nice suit. He's teaming with Garea, so fuck that.
Hulk Hogan is next Brother. He thinks Paula is crazy if he thinks he can piledrive him and end his career. He's been hanging and banging in the gym, and he's been held back from going too hard. He wants to walk into the combat zone and take Orndorff down once and for all.

Match#3 Paul Orndorff vs Billy Travis
Brutal shit from paul whose now really fucking mad at the fans, and wants to prove to Hogan he'll do anything to win. GROSS kicks to the back of the kids head over and over, and it gets really hard to watch at points, which is exactly what is needed. Nasty lariat kills him, and then the Piledriver puts him in the ground
**3/4

Piper's Pit with Dave Wolf. Piper is very confused as to why he's needed when Albano is managing her career. Dave says that's a lie and he has nothing to do with her career, and Dave calls him a liar and a cheat who is fooling everyone. Piper says Dave is a lying cab driver who isn't really managing her, and he says he'll bring her on the show just to prove it. He walks off and Piper says he'll kiss him if he brings her onto his show. Love this so much.

We close the show with Hogan/MS from a few months ago
