Dominik Mysterio heel turn is coming soon

Andrew Zarian reported today that the heel turn in the Dominik Mysterio-Rey Mysterio storyline is coming soon.

The story has been playing out for months but the idea of having Dominik turn on his father has been talked about ever since he signed with the company. Dominik has stated in interviews that the idea of him wearing a mask has also been discussed and he and his father would like the Mysterio name to continue on in wrestling with Dominik being referred to as Rey Mysterio. It’s unknown if the mask/name change will happen but it looks like Dominik will be turning soon.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Dominik was pulled from Team Raw’s Survivor Series team when Adam Pearce decided to have Dominik have to fight for his spot against Bobby Lashley.

We know this has been coming because of what we've been seeing on TV but Rey wants Dominik to be called Rey Mysterio or is that a major error and they meant Dominik Mysterio? I know they've done it before with like Sin Cara for example and heard the name also gets passed on in Mexico but I dunno, this just sounds weird af.​

I do think it could work short term being Rey Mysterio for that heel heat but further down the line I think it would just be weird.

I would love that and I'm sure the Guerrero family would give their blessing to it loving his family so much. Dominik is ashamed of his family name and wants to embrace one he respects. Time to take down Daddy.

I don't think they should turn him heel. I don't think he has it in him to get major heat. Let him be a babyface who is kind of a tweener and then get the mask.

The only way it could work with him being a heel is if they brought his sister in but Rey does not want that for her right now last I heard.
