Dolph Ziggler vs The Miz = Awesome Feud

The more I think about it, the more it makes sense. The new Hollywood gimmick is very interesting on the Miz. This character makes sense, given what has been happening outside the WWE. I think it gives fire to Dolph because I heard he was originally supposed to win the IC belt at Battleground. Either way, im excited to see this feud play out.

What are your thoughts Smarks?

They had a good match on RAW, but I have to say if they go with this I'm not going to enjoy any of the segments whatsoever.

I don't know would think Miz's first feud with this new character be against someone who wouldn't be able to very easily use the same gimmick himself he wanted. There match on Raw was solid and I think the matches will keep being solid however many they have but I don't expect this to be all that good of a feud. Dolph as a face displays far less character which has meant little to no mic work. And I'm sure anytime they have a segment together it is just going to be some generic stuff.

Yea. Miz's character could go on Ziggy pretty easily, but for some reason it just really stuck out to me as a good feud. I thought thier match was great on Raw, and can see many more matches to come. But your right, Ziggy doesnt get the mic to much and The Miz is just ok, but I still have hope!

Ziggler hardly gets mic time because he talks like he wrestles.....he overdoes everything and needs to slow the fuck down because when you do or say too much, nobody can process what you are doing.

I don't know if this is a full fledged feud, might be, I heard it was Sheamus/Miz where the titles are unified, I'd be more excited for that, because I just want those titles unified.

Could maybe do a 2 matces thing like they did with Angle/Jericho/Benoit in 2000, but let someone win both falls to have both belts. Ziggler has pretty good chemistry with Sheamus and had a great match with Miz on Raw, so I'd be okay if he got added in with those two.

I still would prefer it to just be Miz/Sheamus though with the belts unified in a less complicated way.

They could have a string of good matches like the Raw one and maybe a promo or two. TBH I think it's just a mid-card title feud that will be finished in about a month. Any promos will likely be focused on The Miz to get his new persona over.

I agree he has ways to go and agree with your assessment but you cannot get better if you don't get time on the mic. There could be so much done with his Show off persona even as a face and I just feel they are missing the boat totally with it just making him a generic face who just goes out there and wrestles. He can be and should be much more than that

He does most of the app interviews, don't act like those don't mean anything, Jericho cut his teeth on doing "WCW is coming to you town...." 30 second promos. Simple fact is, he just over exaggerates everything he does. There is a point where people are just "he doesn't get it" and leave him out of certain things. Not saying he is there, the guy isn't even in his money making years yet.
