if Dolph leaves WWE, literally nothing will change about him. He won't change his moveset, his character or his looks. People wanna point fingers towards WWE for not giving him a chance to do that but the dude had several chances at re-inventing himself by going to the higher ups and requesting new things for his character, but he didn't do it. Even his current gimmick is basically "you want me to change, but I won't" which is literally the reason as to why he's so irrelevant right now. Take a look at someone like Jericho. Manlike Jericho came up with new shit for his character every season yet Ziggler has been the same since 2013. At times I just feel like he doesn't even care about what he's doing, so why should I?
And after all these years the only real argument pro-Ziggler people have left is: he's a great wrestler. How? Look at the current roster.. look at what the people at NJPW are doing. Dolph's nowhere near to that. Don't get me wrong, I was a big Ziggler follower back in 2012-early 2013 but due to the fact that he hasn't changed his in-ring psychology with shit like "I'll go for the zigzag and you'll grab on to the ropes" in over 7-8 years now, he just stands in the shadow of people like AJ Styles, Seth Rollins, Cesaro, Sami Zayn, the Usos or even Sasha Banks just to name a few. A couple years ago, I would have most likely agreed to him being one of their bigger talents but as of now, they're just too stacked with way better people.
so my overall takeaway from this is that the company did stop pushing him for unknown reasons but it was his responsibility to pick himself up and try something different. Instead of that, he tried to hang onto whatever was left of "the show off" and now we're here
