I actually enjoyed seeing Carlito back on WWE television. I hated this past weeks RAW aside from when Carlito interrupted Cena. If anything, the content of Carlito's promo are what sparked my interest.

The way he mentioned how a LOT of guys in the locker room are sick of Cena and all want their shot etc. and how even though those guys were desperate for Sheamus to beat Cena for the strap? I think that could be a good storyline. All the young guys (maybe just heels) could start a type of mutiny against Cena, as a way of expressing their frustration. In the process they throw a few up-and-comers against Cena which gives some of the 'future talent' an oppurtunity to show their worth and see if any of them can cut it.

Moreover, it will relate to some of the frustrations some WWE fans have with Cena constantly being in the limelight and It's also giving some of the young guys to get a type of push... It's just an idea, but I think perhaps as a short term storyline it could allow WWE to test the water with some of these guys and see how they fare in big match situations. As WWE have put Sheamus in a PPV main event, it does show they now seem to have grown some confidence to give something like this a go.

Putting focus back onto Carlito though, I think this guy maybe deserves another push, but a few tweaks need to be made which others have mentioned in this topic, his music for instance is one. However we all know this guy has a well documented bad attitude at times and has often been reported as lazy. So, giving Carlito another push (he has had a few oppurtunities to show his worth as it is...) is a risk, but Christ knows WWE are in dire need of taking a few fucking risks.

I agree on that part, honestly Cena looked a bit thrown off by it imo.

It was a really real promo, so much so that it almost broke kayfabe in a sense. I like the direction they're going in with Cena over the past few weeks. Addressing the fact that the audience is growing bored of him, yet going off kayfabe he's the most dominant star on the roster so if you don't like it, step the fuck up. Probably the best thing they could do with him right now IMO.
They're looking to take everything in a more realistic direction, well what better than actually addressing the true fan reaction instead of playing it off like he doesn't get a mixed reaction. If they don't in fact have Sheamus knock him off at TLC I'm looking forward to seeing if they have more young guys step up to try and dethrone Cena.

If cena is getting mixed reactions boo'd from men and cheered from kids and women. Then why hasn't sheamus been cheered by the men in the last 2 weeks? Whether they know much about him is irrelevant anyone vs cena shold get half face pop right? So why not sheamus?

I think you're underestimating Cena's reaction. Just because the majority of the internet community is against him doesn't mean every guy over the age of 20 is anti-Cena. There is of course a distinct group of people out there at the live shows with "Cena Sucks" chants and stuff, just look back at the 3 hour RAW.
Sheamus layed out Cena once, and I think most fans were still a bit numb to what was happening to react. I'm not saying Sheamus is going to get a face reaction off going against Cena (like Orton does sometimes) but it may be enough to get him some form of reaction, whether it be heat or pops. However facing Santino isn't going to do it. Especially when Santino ribbed him pretty hard on the mic on RAW.

I look at Cena the way many people looked at Hogan in the 90's. But I think if the Carlito promo is built upon it can mean nothing but more $$$ for the WWE

Carlito should spit his apple in cenas face next week after sheamus puts him through the announce table. Carlito goes for a high five with sheamus and gets pump kicked lo.

Great another Carlito/Masters type thing. Hell no. That was the worst thing for their careers
