Nat Geo rocks. History channel ones as you said are for laughs. I don't want to learn when I watch a History channel one. I wanna be entertained.
Their ones on mythology can be decent though to be fair. I remember watching one on greek mythology that I really enjoyed.

History Channel documentaries can be OK if they are about like WWII or something like that. But the last X number of years they've really jumped the shark and ran their name through the mud.

Love the docs I see on the history channel. Mostly about WW1-2 and stuff like that. Also docs about gangs and such.

Also watched and liked alot of wrestling docs. The Chris Benoit doc specifically.

I've seen that dude or a guy just like him. Honestly I'd make a good contract killer. Someone pay me to kill some folks, I'm down as fuck.
I think it would depend on how the job would be. Contract killings to look like suicides or something would be like childs play to disappearing bodies and that dude killed kids and shit. Not my cup of tea.

Yup. Back in like 2006 I really enjoyed their product. But since around 2010 they have gone into the "did Aliens do it" area and by then it just became crash course TV.

Discovery has some good stuff as well if you can wade through the mediocre.

He said in one interview how he even liked to kill cats as a child. I do not approve.

True, I'd probably charge double for kids.

That is usually how it starts buddy. The shame is most people don't catch on like when some kids torture other kids at that same age. I love the outlook onto how their brain is built differently and how their endorphin's respond to certain situations.

I loved when Southpark made fun of The History Channel with the Thor aspect mixed in with it.
"Ms. Portman we need you to open up your wormhole! "
"mmmm... No!"

I'm aware, I was making a joke since I have a certain fondness for cats.

Innocent cats or asshole cats? big difference

Never acceptable to kill a feline in my eyes. A dog? That's different.

I love anything about drug kingpins. Pablo is my favorite, Al Capone a close second
Drugs inc is a shitload more generic, but Cartel/Mafia docs as well as prohibition docs are really interesting to watch. Capone having the underground tunnels is still something that just blows my mind.

Cats can be assholes. I would put down a bitchy cat with a swift curbstomp. Now, a sweet cat? That's just mean :((

This summer when I was unemployed I spent the days at my grandads watching TV. His cable provider had a series of docu channels where they just bought in shows/series/documentaries that were highly rated and well done. I loved their nature network and history network. Saw this really interesting series focusing on warlords.
