He wouldn't get a huge pop the majority of the audience would just carry on chanting YES YES YES. Not a dig at AJ but you really think people less intelligent that FTJ know who he is?

those people exist?! I guess they would be WWE fans.

AJ Styles would make a great midcarder for a year or two, but WWE has enough buried talent for me to say I hope not, unless he is just cashing in a payday. I expect nothing more than what happened to RVD, and his return should have made it clear to anyone who watches TNA, most WWE fans think TNA is a different planet and have no care for what happens there. Man RVD fucking blows.

Not sure what this comment was supposed to mean, as if you are implying the assumption that he hasn't enjoyed his time in TNA over the past decade, which judging by his loyalty you would presume the opposite would be true.

Point is, his loyalty throughout the years implies to me that he would have desired to retire there but since he might end up gone and in the WWE anyway, then he may as well joined the WWE since it would have meant a bigger paycheck and more time spent in the limelight all these years. I didn't say he didn't enjoy his TNA run, but still.

love you brah but I'm glad nobody took your shitty bait lol
Haha but I'm not baiting/trolling. That's my opinion. I don't get the AJ Styles thing. Maybe if they do hire him, they can work with that terrible rednecky AJ tattoo and name him Action Johnson.

I won't claim to know Styles personally, but from everything I've ever seen, heard or read about him he is a family man and I sincerely doubt he would have sacrificed all the time he was able to spend with them thanks to the TNA schedule as opposed to being on the road every night of the year in WWE for a few extra bucks.

Like Styles or not TNA is not an Indy fed and we both know it. But that's not up for debate or that would mean I'm taking the bait I applauded others for not taking, which isn't happening :pity:

Yeah it has television time, but it sucks dick. In 2013, a company has to go a hell of a lot further to come near WWE's level. For one, learning to run their company professionally would be a start. Providing what they advertise would be another. Several times they've advertised shit and not followed through. Also, where are the stars outside guys from WWE? There are none.

That's amateur shit. Bush league. Indy company.

I wish they would as well. But again I probably wouldn't like how they would use him.
They should name him Alan Jackson, Redneck Ice Cream Man. Vince could shell out the bucks and have David Lee Roth sing Ice Cream Man live at WrestleMania. Alan Jackson would drive an Ice Cream truck to the ring, and give everyone ice cream cones. Then he could show off that he has a tattoo that says AJ so he never forgets his own name.

Maybe they could call him Alex Jones, and he can wear InfoWars t shirts.

Now you're onto something.

He can join the Real Americans. An Alex Jones type sensationalist character would be hilarious
Perfect reason for Ventura to return and cut a promo about how he's been living in a shack in Mexico since his last WWE appearance.

Are you sure? It'll probably be that way at first, but having a vocal minority on your side should help matters quite a bit. Surely their love of social media combined with the pockets of fans cheering for Punk and Bryan (leading to larger chants as you know) have helped get them over quite a bit, and they had much less exposure in ROH than Styles did in TNA.

I'm sure that's a large part of why Cesaro's getting cheered so well nowadays, plus you can look at the impact Kharma had when she debuted.
