Do you care about trophies/achievements?

I know a but that aint as bad as buying 10th prestige account for 2000 MS points, I know a few people that have done that.

I know but I know someone that manages to con people out of MS points with his 10th account, he manages to get people to give them to him so he could do the glich but he just didn't do it . The things people do for e-respect, tut tut tut.

Now, I got laid off last year so I had a lot of game time and managed to rack it up but I have seen people with over 3000 trophies.....I am hoping these are people in the video game business because if they are just regular people like us with jobs and school....holy fuck, go get some friends.

that sucks. I noticed on Facebook in the news feed you constantly will the trophies. I was wondering "how does she find the time to play so much" that explains it.

haha, I work now so I have less time to get trophies, just on weekends and nights I feel like staying up late and being a rebel at work with 2 hours of sleep.

Not on the consoles really, theres only a certain number of titles I really play that often.

However I do collect them in WoW, mainly because our GM had the idea of starting an in guild achievement table and theres a group of us battling to get and stay in the top ten. Certainly gives another reason to play the game.

I do care about them, but not in a good way. I absolutely hate them. I hate when people use them to say that they are better than others because of their achievements. I also hate people that only play games for achievements. Games in general were better when gamers were playing for fun.

FYI, people who care about things like K/D ratios are just as bigger smurfs as those who brag about gamerscores.

I do like trying to get my achievements, not really fussed on K/D ration and stuff though. Its the same with MW2, I like to get new titles and stuff!

I used to be a huge hardcore achievement whore, but the interest for it kinda died when I passed 25.000. There was a period I just checked the achievement list before I had even tried the game, and just went straight for them, ignoring the story and the actual game. Now I realize playing games like that just ruins the experience. Now I play through games without thinking about it, if the achievement pops, its fun, but Im not manical about it. I like to check the achievement lists though, after I have completed the game, just to see if there are any fun ones to do. I absolutely hate "collector" achievements though, collect this, collect that, its just tedious and boring.

A good K/D takes skill. 9.9/10 achievements do not. There are thousands of guides that tell you exactly how to get a certain achievement. Nothing special there.
