I honestly was not expecting a clean finish to the match, but It was a good match with neither man really coming out bad. MVP and Kofi will both benefit from the match in different ways, I see Kofi getting thrown into a feud with Hardy and/or Regal and MVP possibly getting into something with somebody like Show or The Miz, whoever Cena will not be feuding with basically.

I had no idea that Kofi had the ability to do promos. I thought WWE always wanted to keep his goofy-ass face off the camera backstage as much as possible. He can be a good US Champ for the most part.

Knowing MVP can go to main event justified that title change. I suppose they took the belt off MVP so MVP could fill the spot they were going to put Kennedy in.

One of the reasons I've always liked the "mid-card" titles like the US, Cruiserweight, Interc, ect.

These titles see more "wrestling matches" and clean wins compared to the major titles that mostly change hands by set wins.

That is the way it has been in the WWE/F since the 80's I think that the IC title had way better feuds in the 90's then the world title did, from a in ring stand point. For the majority of the 90's there were usually 2-3 guys who held the world title from 92-95 is was mainly HBK, Hart and Nash, in the later 90's it was Rock/Austin/HHH. But throughout the decade there were countless legit title holders in the mid-card

I think you guys are overrating this a bit. It wasn't that great. Then he got the win via rollup.

And that match at Extreme Rules will probably end the same way between Kofi and MVP only MVP coming out on top.

Sure, it wasn't a 5* classic but comparing it to most of the shit that has been on Raw in the last few months, it really is impressive by contrast
