DiBiase vs. Virgil - Thoughts & Would You Ever Want To See It Again?

Back in 1991, Virgil and DiBiase were at war. Years prior to this, Virgil had been a loyal servant to DiBiase but Virgil soon realised that the standards he was being given were terrible and he deserved better. Virgil defeated DiBiase at Summerslam 1991 when he also grabbed the Money belt.

What were your thoughts on the situation? Would you like to see another one of these storylines happen? Possibly with Ted DiBiase Jr and someone else?

I haven't witnessed most of the storyline, But I would actually love to see it recreated on WWE TV. Vince would need to be careful regarding what he would make the "Virgil" do considering WWE is PG but I reckon they could still pull off a good storyline.

If you had seen it, you wouldn't want to see it again, mainly because Virgil was so uncharismatic and boring in the ring that no one gave a shit.

John, what would the WWE have to do to make this "virgil" more PC in PG WWE considering the last Virgil was in a more kid friendly WWF?

& How would he do that?

As for the old Virgil, I can't see due to me not being around but I can say that I would like to see the storyline recreated in a modern day fashion. I could have seen it happen between Gallows and Punk, But that chance has gone and passed and I can only see it done on Raw with DiBiase and perhaps Titus O'Neal or a FCW wrestler in an attempt to get them over.

They kinda re-did it with JBL and HBK.

I think it can work, however with the White/Black thing i'm not sure if the WWE would give Ted Dibiase a black servent. I wouldn't mind seeing it recreated with a wealthy black wrestler, with a white sevent.

They didn't do it with HBK/JBL, bro. HBK was already an established wrestler. Virgil was just introduced as his servent. As for a white servent, I doubt that will ever happen since WWE would set something up with DiBiase.

You will never see a storyline that involves a black guy doing degrading things in the guise of servitude. Won't happen again in our PC world.
