Diana Hart Smith, the outspoken mother of Harry Smith (a/k/a David Hart Smith), continues to criticize WWE brass following his recent departure from the organization. She attribute his lack of success to company heads having it in for her son.

“I don’t think WWE wanted to see DH/Harry succeed there. Maybe (Davey Boy Smith) had ribbed an existing agent who took it out on Harry,†she wrote on Twitter.

“Not sure of the WWE Creative’s logic, but they didn’t want fans to see how exceptional Harry is.â€

The third generation wrestler echoed similar sentiments during a recent interview with Live Audio Wrestling.

“The big complaint that I had with WWE was just that they never gave me a fair chance, ever. We had a good deal with the tag team title run and everything, but guys like Drew McIntyre and Sheamus, they’re obviously very good talents and big guys and everything, but if they had given me the rocket like they had given those two guys, I’m sure that with my family’s lineage and going over to Canada and the UK, they could have done some really good business. For whatever reason, they didn’t,†Harry said.

“I’m not gonna point any fingers at anybody, but I think that there’s people up there that probably didn’t like my family, or maybe my Dad ribbed too many of the guys that are up top now. That’s basically the way that it happened, and I’m glad to be gone really. I don’t want to be wasting my time at a place that doesn’t appreciate me, or doesn’t want to do anything with me.â€

Harry is now training mixed martial arts full-time in Tampa, Florida and looking to make his debut next year. He spars extensively with Josh Barnett, a former UFC Heavyweight Championship. Diana feels they are an unstoppable force.

She tweeted, “I think Harry and Josh training would be comparable to the power of a tsunami and genius of rocket scientists, who don’t know ‘tap out’ definition.â€
Unless I missed something he wasn't that kind of talent who should have been huge just cause he had in ring skills. Guy had the personality of a brick unless he has some hidden charisma.

meh. I never really thought much of him when he was with WWE. He certainly hasn't been missed since he's been gone & he's now training to be an MMA fighter, which suggests he's gotten over it.

I wasn't very fond of DH, but I don't think he got a very fair chance.

I think that he had a decent chance to succeed but his mum complaining about it isn't going to help his cause. What he should do is do his MMA and try that but then he should head back to Japan and wrestle over there. Get some more experience and improve so that WWE will want him back.

He should go to ROH, win a title or 2 over there. Not saying he could but I would like to see the guy try.

It would be interesting to see if ROH go after him. He definitely will head to Japan since he worked therefore before he was signed but I am not sure what he will do in the US. It all depends on his MMA career and if that works out or not.

I like the Hart family for their in ring history of talent but they've got to be the biggest complainers in the history of wrestling thinking they're automatically owed something. Just don't like that they seem to think cause we're Harts that means money so push them to the max.

Maybe the two of them should have went with the Shelton and Thea story. That was he only chance his dull ass had to be a star and have something to make people care.

He wasn't ever as good in the ring as McIntyre on his best day in WWE, and Sheamus has him beat at wrestling and personality

Maybe Harry didn't get a fair shot in the WWE but neither did alot of people who were more talented than him. I could name atleast 10 guys who should have, Could have but its all WWE's preference at the end of the day. He was nowhere near as imposing as his father Davey boy and that is why the guy suceeded, He was in the elite few back in them days who could gorrilla press slam a guy and pull off a great dropkick. As for him going to ROH, I doubt thats likely.

Why does everyone want guys that don't matter to go to ROH?

Because it is a company that doesn't matter ... just a guess :spy:
