DGUSA Wrestler Works WWE Superstars Match

Johnny Gargano of Dragon Gate USA worked the Smackdown taping last night, wrestling Brodus Clay on an episode of WWE Superstars.

Gargano, who is under contract to DGUSA, worked the taping with the blessing of the promotion. DGUSA has shown in the past they are willing to release contracted talent (Jon Moxley, who is now in WWE developmental as Dean Ambrose) if WWE wants to sign them.

There was talk a month or two ago that WWE were having a close look at the DGUSA roster for potential signings. Good luck to Gargano and hopefully he managed to impress the bigwigs to get a contract.

Jon Moxley, who was signed from DGUSA, has been tearing up FCW in a feud with Seth Rollings (AKA Tyler Black from ROH) so WWE should sign more. Gargano is just under six foot and around 200 pounds so he is a smaller guy but it seems that WWE aren't averse to them anymore.

Gargano is a good wrestler, and a good comedy heel or face. I'm all for this. Think Santino with talent.
