Alright DFWAers we are back and ready for action. As we prepare for the return of our inaugural PPV "I Have A Creamsicle" a lot of things had to be determined before we could announce the card. Since we are starting fresh we have no #1 contenders and no history to go by. So first things first was a tournament to determine who is gonna face off for the DFWA Tag Team Champions.
First Round
The Celtic Barrage w/William Regal vs The Brainbusters w/ J.J. Dillon
This was a back and forth match but the powerhouse team proved to be to much as Wade hit the Bullhammer on Tully who was then greated with a Brogue Kick (match time 12:34)
The APA vs Bad Influence w/ The Bellas
Bad Influence had the upper hand at first and really had Farooq in a lot of trouble until he made the hot tag to JBL who comes in a like a ball of fire and hit the Clothesline from hell on Kazarian for the win. (10:12)
Rhodes Scholars vs BMI
This match ended 23 seconds before the time limit expired. There were 16 near falls as both team gave it all they had. In the end Damien Sandow schoolboyed Storm up with a hand full of trunks for the win. (19:37)
Powers of Pain vs Funkin Pimpin
Godfather hit the Pimp Drop on the Warlord and picked up the win in fairly quick fashion. (2:33)
APA vs Celtic Barrage w/William Regal
Sheamus hits JBL with the Celtic Cross but he kicks out, then Farooq hits the Dominator on Sheamus, Regal then trips Farooq into the hands of of Wade who hit him with Wasteland and gets the win. (15:58)
Funkin Pimpin vs Rhodes Scholars
Rhodes and Sandow are double teaming Godfather and Cody goes for the Disaster Kick but Godfather ducks and he hits Sandow. Godfather then hits Cody with the Pimp Drop then tags in Brodus who then hits a Running Splash on Cody for the pin. (17:15)
So there we have it The Celtic Barrage will be facing Funkin Pimpin at Dreamsicle for the DFWA Tag Team Titles.
Also Rhodes Scholars, Brainbusters, Bad Influence, & APA will face off for the DFWA TV Titles. This will be an elimination match.
next we have a 20 Man Battle Royal where the last two men standing will meet for the DFWA Heavyweight Title, not only that the 17th & 18th men eliminated will meet for the DFWA Intercontinental Title and the 15th &16th men eliminated will meet for the DFWA TV Title.
2. Wonderful & Rude were double clotheslined out by Ryback.
3. Austin Aries was eliminated when Flair & Malenko double dumped him.
4. Malenko was eliminated by Ziggler with a dropkick.
5. Bad News Brown was eliminated by the Pope.
6. The Pope was eliminated by Miz with a knee in the back and a dump.
(Bad News was waiting for Pope and hit him with a ghetto blaster then beat him with a chair til security came.)
7. Jake The Snake was eliminated by Samoa Joe.
8. Samoa Joe then was eliminated when Jake threw his Cobra in the ring and Sid backed into him knocking him over.
9. Sid & Ryback were then eliminated as they were tangled up in the ropes and CM Punk, Ziggler, & Miz knocked them over.
(Sid & Ryback brawl to the back)
10. Mr Perfect was eliminated by Macho Man.
11. The Rock was eliminated when he had Miz on the ropes but Bully Ray gave him a cheap shot and then dumped him over.
12. Bully Ray was then pulled over from the outside by The Rock.
13. Carlito was eliminated when he was laughing at Bully Ray and Miz came up and dumped him from behind.
14. The Miz was then clothes-lined over the rope by Savage.
15. Ric Flair was then eliminated by Dolph Ziggler.
16. Ziggler was then eliminated by Savage as he was jawing at Flair.
So last two standing and will meet for the DFWA Heavyweight Title are
Macho Man Randy Savage & CM Punk
meeting for the I-C Title are
Ric Flair & Dolph Ziggler
& meeting for the TV Title
Carlito & Miz
and meeting for the DFWA 6-Man Titles
The Heenan Family - Mr Wonderful, Mr Perfect, & Rick Rude vs Fortune - AJ Styles, Bobby Roode, & James Storm
