I still don't get where people get this retirement shit from? I thought one of the last interviews Kane did, he denied reports of retiring, but said he was staying away from the title because he wasn't sure he fit into any of the storylines surrounding the title at the time. People stick with this rumor that Kane is retiring SOON, but this rumor spread within a year of him being unmasked. Hell, I remember Taker was ready to retire around the same time and still hasn't.

Anyways, Kane is an incredible talent, in the ring, and in promos. The guy has lived in The Undertaker's shadow his entire (kayfabe) career, and for him to manage to stick it out and keep going and not leave the company or complain and accept his "role" he's been given has been incredible.

As far as the storyline goes, I'd love to see Kane play away that it wasn't him for as long as possible, even when Taker returns, keep him guessing as well. Bring back the Brothers of Destruction, and use it as Kane's way of keeping Taker off his coattail, and away from the belt. And then eventually have Kane betray Taker and expose it all, leading up to a huge series of matches between the two (hopefully HIAC & Buried Alive since they've not faced off in those matches yet).

^Nah, I gott stop you on one thing. They've had Buried Alive matches, but I think they were back in '98 or shit..'97? Long time ago.

Here's one match I'd love to see again, but with both men being in their 40's and with WWE PG I just can't see it: The Inferno Match.

THOSE were exciting matches!

Wrong, Undertaker has not had a Buried Alive match with Kane.

So wait, Taker is a better wrestler than pre 04?

Honestly, yes. I mean don't get me wrong, I am not the Taker fan that I used to be, but over the past few years his big time matches (Mania in particular) have gone way up in quality (exluding the Henry debocle) since 2004. I like many others I am sure is really tired of the whole Deadman gimmick and yearly "Will The Streak end" B.S but I honestly feel that he really hit his stride as a wrestler in 2006.

Actually, he's spoke himself on it in an interview and directly alluded to the fact that he'll be retiring soon to pursue politics. That was about a year or more ago.

Glenn Jacobs...Senator? Mayor? Councilman? Whatever he's elected to, it would be awesome when he does an acceptance speech to do his arm raise taunt and have the awesome pyro go off.

I think if he were elected President (I know it would never happen...) it'd be funny as hell to hear him give a 20 minute speech about the State of the Union:

"Many dead and hollow souls are wandering around in a realm of unemployment, while the sealife in the Gulf of Mexico writhes and squirms in agony because of the BP Oil Spill" lmfao :D

While it would be cool for Taker and Kane to go one last time at Mania this time for the belt, I'd rather Kane go over than Taker. Then ending that someone said above about Kane winning, lighting striking, fire blows and when its all said and done, both guys are gone would be fucking epic. Highly doubt it'd happen though.

Fuck. You're right. Undertaker and Austin had all those Buried Alive matches. I'm getting old...

You're probably thinking of Survivor Series 2003 with Undertaker vs. McMahon when Kane helped McMahon bury The Undertaker.

I don't care about the "when" aspect but Kane vs. Undertaker still needs to happen inside Hell in a Cell, to make this come full circle with Kane's debut in 1997 against Undertaker.

^^^Lol... Or in the case of Kane/MVP... "Did you see the flames go OUT on one side of the ring" thus killing the gimmick of the match dead! ;o]

Taker/Kane HIAC would be sweet.
