I like it. The background looks good; nice colouring and the brush works well. As does the lighting and overall composition.
Text is the biggest gripe; the black and yellow gradient looks a little dodgy. Also, the font for the subtext looks a little 'defaultish', you know?

I'm still awful with my text work. I just can't ever seem to come up with anything decent to work. Any suggestions to what adjustments to make?

If you're using gradient overlays, try to make them more subtle. They're a little strong as things stand (as shown on the main text in this sig).

I like the sig. The background is really good and I always like the colours and effects you use on your backgrounds. Making it all the same colour really makes the main picture stand out. Text is nothing special but besides that it is really good.
