With an ok from Mike Chaos, I was going to test the waters for a possible debate league starting back up. If somebody wants to choose a side for this topic. The first person who chooses a side will start the debate. You will get one argument to post. After the arguments are done, a winner will be decided. This is just a test.

i honastly think it when your deciding weither or not somebody is hall of fame quality it should be all about a wrestlers wrestling career not there outside troubles. i mean we all no this buisness can take its toll on a wrestlers body and there is a huge long list of names who have had there issues with drugs and alachol as well as leagal troubles. so if its just strictly based on jeffs wrestling career and not his legal troubles then i say yes. jeff has good wrestling skillis very solid interview skills has won more gold in wwe than i can think of and if his trial date dosent put a end to his wrestling career i think when hes all done he would be a good descion for the hall of fame.

Is Jeff HoF worthy? Yes, his tag team with Matt Hardy alone is enough to argue for HoF. Will Jeff get into the HoF? Will he balls?! Jeff Hardy is a known drug user, I don't think that is the main reason that he won't get into the HoF though. I think it iis because of him jumping ship twice, the first time WWE accepted it and let him back into WWE but this time I don't think they are going to be so understanding. Jeff has shown that he is not loyal to the company and is siding with TNA in their weak battle to compete with WWE. So I will be incredibly surprised if he can add Hall of Famer to his long list of achievements ever.

he is HoF material definatley, but i agree with maty, he has jumped ship twice and refused all offers from WWE to come back.

If he gets into the HoF i will be very suprised.

Of course he's HoF worthy. He was as a tag worker. He was as a singles worker before he was champ. And of course he'll make the HoF. So what if he refused offers. Others have done FAR worse and are in there. But this shouldn't be a thread. There's already a "Is he a HoFer" game in the general discussion.

And btw, not to knock your shit McFly but a debate league is useless here. If the thread is good enough then it will warrant enough debate.

I have to agree with the others and say Jeff Hardy is HOF worthy. He's won 19 championships in the WWE (7 Tag, 4 time IC, and and 3 HW championship, + others euro/hardcore) Was in one of the greatest tag teams of all time, and earned his top spot by being one of the crowd favorites faces. I think he still has a few more years left in him too, and a possible return to the WWE.

I'm sure he is worthy of it. However, I don't see him ever being inducted. I have my doubts about WWE lasting another 20-30 years when Jeff would be inducted. I just think that he will be overlooked in 20-30 years. Right now he seems big and all but I don't think he will ever be inducted unless he main events wrestlemania. Not saying everyone who main events mania gets into the HOF, but it helps your chances a great deal.

If someone does not think Jeff is HOF worthy should be shot. Looking at his accomplishments alone would make his a surefire Hall of Famer. Just because he lost control of the wheel a couple times should not discredit his contributions to professional wrestling at all.

Koko B. Ware is in the hall of fame....
so it's not like it's full of prestige and all....

then again, if Jeff burned his bridges, he might get the MachoMan treatment.

His personal life should be left out of the wrestling side of things. While his personal life is fucked up, he's been able to do very well in the ring. Numerous tag team title wins, Intercontinental titles, World Titles, plus being a popular fixture for so long basically warrants selection in the Hall Of Fame. Based on some people in the WWE HoF already, Hardy should be a shoe in, unless he burns some major bridges.

Thing is, Benoit wont make it in because of what he did outside of wrestling yet people will go on about how what a wrestler does outside the ring shouldn't matter.

I know murder is far worse than drugs but it's still something he did outside the ring and shouldn't have anything to do with what he did inside the ring.

^Benoit is in it isn't he? I'm sure I read something saying they inducted him but then they found out what he did so they basically got rid of all of his history and never mentioned him again.

Way to red rep me and then reply to my thread.

Im going to put my two cents into this. I think that his personal life should be kept out. With the accumulation of titles he has won, I think he should be a candidate for the HOF.

I can't remember if he is but I don't think so.

So randomly red repping you means I can't answer a thread you made? You are such a fucking idiot.
