I think it'd be nuts for scum to fake a guilty check on town this early into the game, especially since the guy claiming it wasn't in any sort of hot water. We can guess and hmm and haah about what might have possibly messed up a guilty result but I don't think there's much reason to. Aside from someone outright claiming they messed with the result, I don't see us doing anything other than lynching McNowornever here.

I think that at least explains the post he made about surviving or whatever, maybe he was trying to get someone to use their shot. Also a role being town aligned but does not win with town is a bit of a head scratcher for me.
